I was wondering if we would be able to change up the goombas to make em look like koopas! Now i Don't know a whole lot about flash but i was thinking you could add a 'koopa costume' for the goombas (you know how peach has the different costumes in the game?). In other words- just add a costume for the goombas (which is really more of a 'recolor') that looks like a koopa.

It shouldn't affect the other animations since those are separate movies that cause the main character to become invisible while they play. The Standing animation will be made invisible while those movies play out. Sound is another matter, and I haven't played around at all with sound files so I don't know anything about how to work with them.
The code for a single key press is "on (keyPress "<Space>"){//code to start the movie}", but that only works outside of any other "on" function (which should be okay if it's something that can be done anytime). For holding it down, you'll want "if (!Key.isDown(32)){//code to stop/advance}". If you only put it in the first and last frames of the animation, it should play the animation to the end after space is released before continuing on. Otherwise, if you want the movie to cut out right away (or if you change it so that just pressing space will advance it), it'll probably need to be on every frame of the animation.
