Seems like she was right in her decision to stay close and cover Alis' back. A zombie lurched out from the shadows behind Alis, obviously moving in to grab her. Deni was in the perfect position to get in an attack on it and possibly save Alis from some serious grief. She didn't really want any of the survivors to get hurt, honestly..
"Alis!"
Deni yelled a warning, her voice pitched with fear and nervousness. Alis would have gotten the warning, but the zombie was just one step away from grabbing range. Deni had to act now.
The photographer had always been bad with scary things, timid soul that she was. Even zombie films scared her, even if she did know that the monstrosities in those movies were fake, just CG and make-up. The thing that was infront of her was real, very real. And about to grab one of the people she didn't want hurt, even if she did barely know her. Deni charged, covering the short distance easily as she stabbed the knife down, aiming down at the base of the zombie's neck where she knew the brain stem was. She couldn't be sure if separating the brain stem from the rest of the body would help, but it would seriously fuck up motor functions, if that still applied to the zombies.

Alis was about to kneel down to finish off the zombie on the ground before she heard Deni yelling her name. She starts turning around and when she sees the zombie it surprises her enough that she falls on the ground. "Oh SHIT!" She yells as she starts backing up and ends up falling on her ass. Seeing the zombies this up close with all that decaying flesh and that god awful smell right up in her face made her panic. She curses herself for her slight fear before pointing her rifle up at the incoming zombie and pulling the trigger several times in anger.

"Thanks... It really does mean alot Lilia. I might share with the rest if I decide it's a good idea." She says with a smile and waits for the others to finish their battle alittle alarmed at the shout she had just heard but letting them take care of it themselves unless called for,"I think we might be needed soon." She says seriously.

Lilia gives a little smile to Jessi as the girl thanks her. But the sounds of people hitting the floor and calling out people's name doesn't sound like good things. She hikes her pack of medical supplies higher on her shoulder and gives the bunny girl a small nod. "I'm of the same mind. Hope it's nothing too serious. I'd hate to have to use my supplies now while we don't know if we can pick up more."

Dahlia gave a short laugh of triumph as the last of her missiles splattered through undead flesh and bone. It was a little concerning, at least from a mental health standpoint, to feel the adrenaline rush and not the mounting disgust from cleaving through a human body, but...well, as she'd thought, it was the hostility that made it easy. Perhaps, after some years of dodging tasers, tranquilizers, batons and even the odd bullet from armies upon armies of mercenaries that her life was more valuable than that of a classic zombie, or their canine companions. Of course, one could chalk it up to the video games, too. Dahl had a fancy for those ever since she resettled. Strange that she'd never taken the life of a living human.

Cooling blood was starting to clog the air now. The girl sniffed back the metallic aroma -- that was never easy to stomach. As well, she coulda swore that her boot just crunched down on a giblet...

She took a few strafes to the side, clearing the trainwreck of zombie corpses as she looked for the next objects in line to be used as a weapon. A scream rung up, and she tilted her head to see Alis being grappled by a zombie, but the converging others let her dismiss it...at least for now. She didn't trust her accuracy from this distance, anyway.

She raised her arm, which illuminated blue, and with a groan of protest, an exposed metal pipe carrying some kind of fluid tore itself from a fissure in the wall that had exposed it. Comically, she flexed and twisted her arms as if she were holding the item as a bat, guiding it over to the last of the zeds and with a few deft movements of the arms, began to swing her imaginary weapon wildly while the very real metal pipe swung itself back and forth down on the zombies' bodies with impressive force, skipping between zed after zed in an effort to beat them into a pulp.

One might note that Dahl had squeezed her eyes shut, as if not to witness her work first hand.

Officer Silent was able to blast another zombies skull open, but know all that were left were engaged. Ak'Vit was able to successfully jump up to her feet, but she slipped on blood on the floor causing her to tumble into the zombie, her blade slicing it in half. The half still connected to the brain was still active, this included it's left arm, which grabbed at her robe and tore her right sleeve off, it's claws just barely grazing her scales, enough for her to feel they were there. Deni got very lucky, though she did not have much experience with a blade, her stab hit the exact spot she was aiming for. The zombie stopped as soon as the connection with it's brain was severed and fell down to the floor dead, making a sickening sound as the flash slipped off the knife. Alis however, did not see this and sent several shots at the skull of the zombie, which splattered several chunks of blood and bone over Denis clothing, the shots barely missing her hand, still close enough to make it tingle in an unpleasant way. Dahlia was busy swinging her club with her eyes closed, just barely missing Officer Silent, who luckily saw the zombie that was after her. He quickly asked Lady Luck for her favor and fired a shot that splattered the innards of the zombies brains all over the wall, just as it reached Dahlia and grabbed her arms ripping the sleeves off.

Ending result, one half of a zombie left. Ak'Vit will be tasked with finishing it off.

Room will then be secure and it will be time for Officer Silent to pillage the computers data banks. After that all players will be allowed to wander the security station to their hearts content, all lights are on. The Armory is required to be secure before Office Silent will rejoin the group. Players can now wander to the Armory room, or the room with the holding cells.

Ak'Vit panicked the moment she felt its claws dragging across her skin and instinctivly slammed her tail on the zombies head, hopefully crushing it.

The kukri knife slid into the zombie's neck with a cold ease, severing the brain stem completely. The zombie dislodged the knife itself as it fell unmoving to the floor, making a sickening sound. Deni opened her eyes, tearing up as she stared numbly at the bloody knife in her hands. Alis, obviously freaked out by the closeness of the encounter had shot the zombie, it's skull exploding and splattering Deni with blood and bone chips. The shots missed her hand by a very uncomfortable centimetre. Metal clanged on metal as the kukri knife dropped to the floor, the bloodstained Deni stumbling to the floor in shock.
She raised trembling, bloody hands to examine them, clenching them into quivering fists. That...had been so scary.. She just..wanted to curl up and cry. But she wouldn't. She needed to survive. To get back to Mom and Dad. A tear escaped, running a messy track down her bloody face. Deni clenched her teeth, rubbing the lone teardrop away roughly. No more crying. She would only allow herself to cry tears of relief..when this nightmare was over..

Jessi had moved closer to the door waiting anxiously and ready to run in at the first sign she was needed and now her ears were telling her that the time to enter was now as the battle was winding down to a close only one offender left if her ears did not betray her and she moved in with her med saw in hand ready to slice anyzombie that moved to touch her, gripping it tightly and nervously,"Miss Lilia I think we should go and check to see if anyone needs medical treatment. It sounds like the battle is almost done." She says seriously her medical manner returning to the forefront once again. She wasn't very experienced but she had developed a serious outlook when it came to helping folks. Always ready to grace them with a smile to those who were sick and needed help. Laughter and happiness are some of the best medicines they say.

"Jessi, 'The battle is almost done', doesn't mean much when one wrong move can get you killed. We wait until the battle is done, that why the team doesn't lose any medics and we know the full scale of everyone's injuries and can treat them more effectively. After all, what if the person we're treating gets hit because they're unable to move while we're bandaging them? That makes their death our fault." Lilia lectures, though she's fighting the urge to do just as Jessi wants to do.

Officer Silent walks over to one of the computers as he hear the sound of Ak'Vit's tail crush the zombies skull. That should hopefully point out to the group, that they don't die unless the brain is destroyed or the head is removed. He got to a computer and sat down, ignoring everyone else, now that the room was clear. He then began going through what data he could find, reports, video messages, etc. He needed to get a better idea of what was going on.

"Alright, this room is secure, I am going to go through the security videos and data banks to get an idea of what is going on. The rest of you can either chill in here with me, or head to the armory to see if their are any weapons left. However, I suggest you hurry. There is a freaking army of those things outside the front door."

Ak'Vit stood there for awhile in shock of what just happened. Unable to take it all in she laid down in the warmest and least bloodiest spot.

Jessi hears the sound of the cracking skull and turns back to Lilia,"You were correct before but now the battle is done and were needed. I`ll remember what you said Teacher. Let`s go do some good." She said with a smile and entered the room,"Who needs attention? Me and Lilia are here to help."

Alis gets up satisfied that the zombies brains are splattered against the floor. She walks over and crouches right next to Deni. She picks up the bloody knife and slides it into her sheath before gently grabbing Deni's shoulders and hualing her up onto her feet. "You have to keep fighting. You have to keep surviving. You did good and probabl saved my butt so Now come on we're going to the armory to find you a better weapon." She places an arm around her shoulder and starts to lead her towards the armory. Unlike Ali's, Deni isn't a battle hardened soldier and killing isn't instinctual yet for her. "I'm going to need to keep an eye on her to make sure she stays alive" Alis thinks as she walks.

Lilia stands from her place and brushes herself off, giving a nod to Jessi. "Right. Let's go then. And please do. It'll allow you to help more people in the future." she says as she enters the room behind Jessi. She gives a brief look of the battle field and sees there's not many injuries, just a cut somewhere. "Jessi, I'd like to see how you handle that cut if you don't mind." she says, pointing out the girl with the bloody tail.

Kate heads into the room with the computer bank and sits next to the officer. "Hey, I'm pretty good with computers -- as would be expected since I have a degree in Computer Science and everything. Do you need any help?" she asks him.

"Yes Ma`am." She says and heads towards Ak`vit and gently taps her shoulder seeeing her lying on the floor,"Miss? I need to treat your wound. It might sting alittle alright?" She said with a soothing voice as she went to work picking up the girl`s tail gently and with a rag soaked in hydrgen peroxide she cleaned away the blood and grime thoroughly and helped clean out the wound with the same diligence before blacing a bandage around the wound to keep it clean and to prevent further bleeding."How was that Miss Lilia?" She asked her teacher seeking her approval in her first task.

"Miss I`m here to help. I told you it would hurt. Now be still." She said more sternly picking her tail back up and making sure there were no other injuries and that her bandages were wrapped properly and to last,"What is your name? I am Jessi and I`m your battle angel today." She said with a warm smile.
