Dahlia gave a short laugh of triumph as the last of her missiles splattered through undead flesh and bone. It was a little concerning, at least from a mental health standpoint, to feel the adrenaline rush and not the mounting disgust from cleaving through a human body, but...well, as she'd thought, it was the hostility that made it easy. Perhaps, after some years of dodging tasers, tranquilizers, batons and even the odd bullet from armies upon armies of mercenaries that her life was more valuable than that of a classic zombie, or their canine companions. Of course, one could chalk it up to the video games, too. Dahl had a fancy for those ever since she resettled. Strange that she'd never taken the life of a living human.
Cooling blood was starting to clog the air now. The girl sniffed back the metallic aroma -- that was never easy to stomach. As well, she coulda swore that her boot just crunched down on a giblet...
She took a few strafes to the side, clearing the trainwreck of zombie corpses as she looked for the next objects in line to be used as a weapon. A scream rung up, and she tilted her head to see Alis being grappled by a zombie, but the converging others let her dismiss it...at least for now. She didn't trust her accuracy from this distance, anyway.
She raised her arm, which illuminated blue, and with a groan of protest, an exposed metal pipe carrying some kind of fluid tore itself from a fissure in the wall that had exposed it. Comically, she flexed and twisted her arms as if she were holding the item as a bat, guiding it over to the last of the zeds and with a few deft movements of the arms, began to swing her imaginary weapon wildly while the very real metal pipe swung itself back and forth down on the zombies' bodies with impressive force, skipping between zed after zed in an effort to beat them into a pulp.
One might note that Dahl had squeezed her eyes shut, as if not to witness her work first hand.
