Dax sits for a moment and thinks on what he'll do. He wants to heed Sebastian's warnings but at he same time he's willing to endure what lies on the otherside of that door. He disencants himself quickly returning back to his normal self and attempts to pick the lock on the door.

You notice the windows are completely bricked up.
