"Man or woman, you're still just a sword." Victor remarks as "Nyx" charges him once again. This time, however, his defense is not to simply evade...

Instead, he weaves to his right flank (Nyx's left), catching Blood Harvester's thrust in the hollow of Mjolnir's blade. Once that's done, he brings his right hand up to smack "Nyx's" sword-arm wrist with a karate-chop, the force of impact moderated to simply stun her grip for a moment. A moment is all he needs, though, for when he yanks the katana out of her hands, tossing it aside with Mjolnir's hollow. Having seen what it did to Nyx, he's not about to touch the damn thing directly.

[Angel_Slayer_Alcatraz]

Nyx's eyes return to normal as she slumps to her knees. She begins to mouth the words "Thank you" but is interrupted by her passing out
Suddenly he feels a dark and powerful aura from the sword now laying on the ground a few feet away from him... he hears a voice in his head
"There is no way to keep me away from her, her hatred of the life she once had, caused her to form a blood contract with me. I bet she will explain when she awakens. There is no way to break our..."Partnership"
said the voice which sounds, oddly, like Nyx's except much darker. Suddenly the sword levitates off the ground and flies into the scabbard on her belt
And he hears evil laughter in his head, which slowly fades.
(Ordeal complete, Dax can now find the pair)

[Icaelus]

"Are..you comparing me to a cow?"
Mex stopped in her tracks, scowling at Sortaix as he drew level with her. They continued to walk along the path, Sort with bow and arrow in hand while Mex twirled Ravenous rather absentmindedly in her right hand. Several times she deforested a few branches with each swing, midst complaints from Raven that she wholeheartedly ignored with a grin.
They soon came across a dead goblin that more resembled roadkill than dead body. Squashed to a pulp.
"Wow. Blunt force trauma, at it's finest. Dolphin did a pretty nice job."
She acknowledged as she poked Ravenous at the corpse. Blood seeped into the blade and Raven made a loud slurping sound, then a smacking one as if he was smacking his lips with pleasure.
Delish! Boss, let's go gut some gobs! They don't taste half-bad after all that dirt!
Raven hummed and Mex nodded in agreement, a malicious smile curling her lips. She glanced at Sort with a rather sheepish expression as she caught herself.
"Um. They aren't exactly innocents, right? C'mon, let's go..please?"

Sort and Icaelus:

Sort looked over to Mex with a chastising look on his face.
"No, I am not comparing you to a cow. I was trying to make a joke, so your friend there doesn't get to see what my blood tastes like"As Sort and examined the ground around the corpse, he quickly figured out which way Kaz went. He then took off at a rapid pace down the path, following Kaz's tracks more than anything else.
"Of course you can kill them, Darling. Would I ever deny the woman I love? Now hurry up! KAz is most likely in deep trouble right now, lets go!"

Due to Kaz's magnificent decision of jumping straight into the goblin camp, she quickly found herself surrounded by 7 goblins, all of which were quite surprised, that it is raining human women. The goblin between the womans legs began to pick up pace as he wanted to finish in her, while the others stood in shock for a few second before charging at Kaz. The delay in their reaction time allowed Kaz to get behind a few crates of stolen goods, giving her some shelter. But, goblins were cumming, and since they had just finished watching a sex show, it is fairly obvious what they were thinking at seeing the half naked water mage. She will be able to strike first, but the goblin horde will attack quickly.

Dax, Zender, Alcatraz:

DAx is now able to find the other two, seeing them as he turns a corner around the path.

Dax turns the corner after walking for what seemed like ages to him and spies Victor and Nyx and he quickly runs to them looking for all the world like a jolly monster from the black lagoon,"Victor! Nyx! Boy am I glad to see a friendly face!" He realizes that Nyx is passed out in Victor`s arms and he looks rather worried,"Victor? What happened here? Is she alright?!" He runs over to the two tto take a better look at Nyx.

[Icaelus]

"D-Darling?"
Mex blushed, looking away from Sort as they broke into a run down the path, following Kaz's tracks. It was ridiculously easy to follow, what with all the small puddles of waters marking her trail. Still..they needed more speed.
"Sort. I'll check things out ahead. See ya."
She grinned at him, poking him in the side playfully, causing him to double up before she evaporated in a burst of flames, reappearing ten meters ahead of Sort. She continued her shifting until she saw something interesting..

"That was a goooooooooood idea, shaddup!" Kaz replied aloud to the little voice in her head telling her that wasn't the smartest move. Tide immediately flew from her back and into her hands solidifying into a deadly battleaxe form.

She narrowed her eyes mischievously. Goooooobs. Lots of them. And look how they were treating all these girls! Fuggin' gobs, ya. She'd SHOW 'EM WHAT FOR!

Knowing she'd take a surprise attack if she didn't act quickly, the girl let out a somewhat laughable war cry and dashed forward, twisting about on a heel and swinging her ice battleaxe in a 360 degree arc. Spinning, spinning, spinning...right towards a cluster of gobs. The momentum was significant enough she could lop off heads, bisect bodies or take off limbs.

"YYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" she yelled as she spun about like a top. A deadly, limb-severing top.

As Blood Harvester speaks within his mind, Victor's spine is jarred a bit by the distinct chill running down it. A "blood contract?" The life she once had? It's all too confusing for him to try figuring out on his own, but there is one thing he is certain of: he's not simply going to leave Nyx to her fate. His good heart wouldn't allow that. As such, he makes his own point quite clear to the sword:

"If your 'partnership' with Nyx is truly irrevocable, then I shall stop your assaults on her mind every time, as many times as it takes. She's a better person than you claim, believe it or not, and I won't simply allow you to ruin that."

After the blade sheathes itself, and laughs itself into silence, Victor heaves a sigh of relief...

...and that's when Dax shows up.

"Glad to know you're still alive and kicking, too." He replies, then adds in response to Dax's question about Nyx: "I think so. Physically, she's fine, but...well, she might be able to explain it better than me, once she wakes up...which hopefully, won't be too long from now." Of course, if anyone's going to explain anything, they'll need a decently safe place to do so at, so Victor picks Nyx back up, letting her rest easy while he carries her along the path, using a nod of his head to gesture Dax to follow.

"We should get moving. If you were being chased by the same goblins we were, then it's a safe bet that they'll find us again. The sooner we get out of these woods, the better."

Dax speaks up,"Wait! What aabout the others? Sort, Mex and Kaz what of them? They are still out there and from what I saw I know we need to stay and look for them. I found a gob temple thats practically SWARMING with the filthy buggers. We can`t just let them stay here becuase surely other travelers will be cuaght by these monsters like we were!" Dax stands adamant that they had to help those that might come after them.

[Zender_Solarheart]

Victor suddenly halts his walking. "A goblin temple, you say?" He turns around, wearing a facial expression of not annoyance, or disapproval...but one that seems more curios, and eager. "Well now, that does change a thing or two. Never was the type to simply pass that up...not to mention, your enthusiasm is like me, when I was younger. So, where is this temple you speak of?" He takes another step or two towards Dax, still carrying Nyx...and then stops.

Considering that Nyx is still passed out, charging right into enemy territory isn't the best idea right now. "Well, we may want to take a more secluded path, so Nyx here can wake up, and such. Having three proficient fighters on our side will be far better than two, after all. As for the others...well, I think they can handle themselves well enough, at least for now." Here's hoping that whatever "secluded path" they take gives them some decent time to prepare, without getting jumped by goblins on a moment's notice...

"It`s um back the way I came... And it`s why I do this job I don`t do it for the thrills or the glory. I do it becuase it`s the best way I can help people." Dax said scratching at the back of his head suddenly abit embarrassed,"Um we should start making a plan before we charge in to that seething anthill back there. It looked pretty well defended and patrolled. I don`t think we`ll be able to go through the front way. We`ll have to scout out another way in or I might be able to dig our way in if the soil is loose enough!" Dax says with inspiration as the idea hits him.

Nyx woke up in Victor's arms, making her blush, she lifted her head to Victor's ear saying
"Thank you...Victor"
before leaving his grasp and standing up... then she did something unexplained and spontaneous

She kissed Victor, not even secretly, just like BOOM...kiss
"You probably have questions about my past...would you like the full...or abridged version, and before you go asking, you weren't my first kiss, but you wouldn't understand if I told you who my first kiss was..."
She said as she clasped her hands behind her back

Dax pipes up unsure if she noticed him still garbed in his living green finery," Um Miss Nyx if you don`t mind I`d like to hear the full version and could you explian as well what happened here before I stumbled upon you two? When I showed up you were passed out in Victor`s arms and he said you would better be able to explain why you were passed out..." Dax gives her a concerned look clearly worried about her as he awaits her story and her explantion if she chooses to share them with him.

Sort and Icaelus:

Sort doubled over, grabbing his side as Mex poked him, which caused him to stop in his tracks.
"Ow dammit, that hurt. I'll make you pay for that later."
He then continued forward chasing Mex until she stopped at the goblin sign several meters ahead. The sign, that was making some grammer teacher somewhere cry in pain, pointed to two different directions. One pointed to a temple, the other pointed to the breeding pens, and Kaz's tracks led straight to the breeding pens. Sort finally catches back up and once he decodes the sign, and realizes which way Kaz went, his jaw dropped as he picked up running once more to get to where Kaz had gone.

Napsii:(Good idea? You just jumped into goblin rape city)

Kaz was able to successfully pull of her spinning axe maneuver, clicing one goblin in half, and causing the rest to jump back. They stayed back, out of the reach of her axe, as they waited for the spinning to take it's toll on her perception, or for her to trip. The one between the womans legs quickly finished up inside her before lazily running over to join the battle.

Nothing significant happens to them on their way to the goblin marker sign.

"gObBy cAmP. bRiidInG pAnz. Wow. That is some world class spelling right there.."
Mex shook her head as she read the sign. Her eyes turned back to Kaz's trail, noticing they led right to the goblin camp. Of course.
"Ugh. World class idiocy, too."
She sighed in annoyance as Sort caught up to her, took a single look at the sign and blew past her running. Couldn't have that now, could we?
"Meet you there, Sortie.""
Mex grinned, bracing herself in the position that Olympic sprinters used to kick off into their run. She, instead kicked off into a burst of rapid shifting, overtaking Sort in two seconds and continuing on until she reached the goblin camp. She caught sight of a good vantage point, the same boulder that Kaz had jumped off and immediately shifted up there. And...there Dolphin was, whirling spin-to-win style and slicing a gob cleanly into half. Crude, but effective. Still, six other gobs to deal with..some magical assistance would be in order, maybe?
Mex ran a hand along Ravenous, smiling maliciously.
"Seek."
She swung the scythe and unleashed homing fire projectiles of doom, each missile seeking out their green-skinned targets.

Kaz harrumphed. She counted seven gobs once the one with the tied up girl finished and made his way over to the fight. They were all ready and spoiling for a fight. She admitted it: her odds didn't look good for. But considering how badly she could wreck people up, she'd show these things a damn riot!

"I bet you think you're all tough. I'm gonna CUT YOU DOWN TO SIZE! Or something! I dunno!" she declared, stamping a foot on the ground with ice battleaxe in hand.

Just as a few flashes of red lit up the sky above her, she dashed forward at the lazy gob who'd just entered the battle, aiming a lunging, overhead swing with both hands to cleave through his skull and split him straight in half. But of course, she wasn't gonna get him from behind -- it was in quick order she kept spinning, front flipping in the air after presumably cleaving that gob in half to spin around and land on her feet, facing the gobs. Dizzy, of course, but still able to throw a few heavy cuts from her axe in an arc in front of her at any charging gobs.

Dax stops as they reach the sign from before,"This is it guys we follow this sign and it takes us to the gob temple. Its down this path but maybe we should look for another way down there becuase that path is not safe. I barely made it through and I`m one person. With three we wouldn`t stand a chance!" Dax says gesturing towards the path that leads to the temple.

Sort, Icaelus, and Napsii:

Sortaix ran after Mex who was busy shifting her way to the fight. He wasn't able to shift like she did, but he was still fast. He finally made it, to the point the front gate was in sight by the time Mex and KAz had already had a turn with the gobs. Mex's projectile attack did hit one goblin straight on, causing him to burst into flames, and sort of well...die, painfully. (Stamina - 50) His screams proved how painful it was. The other goblins except one, were able to dodge the attacks causing them to hit the ground and just burn. The one who didn't quite make it, got a nasty burn on his left arm and quickly grabbed it in pain. (-70 Health) The surviving gobs quickly jumped back away as Kaz's attack on her target successfully hit the goblins skull, killing him instantly. Her attack didn't go all the way through though, meaning she would have to stop and pull the axe out of the goblins thick skull.

Victor smiles with relief as Nyx wakes up, and thanks him. "Don't mention it, Nyx. I'm glad to see you're feeling bet-" He's suddenly cut off as she kisses him straight out of the blue, causing him to blush a deep red. She sure is good at surprising him, eh?

When Nyx and Victor are done with the kiss, he does his best to recollect his thoughts, and responds to her question about the explanation with: "The abridged version will do, but perhaps a little later. Dax here found the goblin's hideout, and if you're itching for payback, then I'd say now's a good opportunity." He smirks confidently, while motioning for Nyx to follow.

<And now, back to more current events...>
After Dax provides his recommendation on battle tactics, Victor's ears pick up a very faint sound from the goblin camp...and it sounds like someone screaming. It's really far away, and can only barely be made out, so he can't tell if it's screams of pain, simple anger, or...something else...but whatever the case, it suggests that they'll have something else distracting at least some of the goblins, which will make their approach just a little easier. (Try to leave some for us, okay, Sort and crew? )

That said, Dax's tactical logic is well-planned. "Fair enough, Dax. If nothing else, we can try that digging trick you mentioned." Victor remarks, smirking humorously. The thought of a neko-man like Dax digging under a fence is somewhat amusing to him, especially considering that he's more used to dogs pulling tricks like that.

Dax grins,"What you don`t thinks cats can dig as good as any dog? I think we might have to use it but lets get a little closer before we do that or else i`ll be too exhausted to fight from moving all that dirt!" He begins to look about for another trail maybe one thats obscured by bushes or used by small woodland creatures. He pokes about the bushes looking for another path.
