Luxuria, being a goddess of secrets and mysteries wants her people to live her own life. But yet she was also boastful and vain, admiring her own form as much as the oceans. She inspired her people to create simple sculptures of one of her early forms. She knew that her people needed the guidance and sometimes her direct interference of herself.

Looking over the vast amounts of upgrades for the race, I will pick Spears, allowing them to have an upper fighting hand for them, if possible, I also pick Stone Tools and Palisades.

Sortaix saw the materials his people had gathered and was pleased. He then sent out another command to his people to gather food for themselves, so they would not starve.

Archaron ordered his people to gather resources. Wood, stones and metals. Their aim was to build forges, workshops, carpenteries, masonories and such, so they could process raw materials and turn them into workable goods.

It is now the year fourhundred, and all's well.
Or well, it wás well until suddenly one of the demigods, Nicklas, shows up on the door of the godly Arena, where you all live.
Normally the door wouldn't even open, for the Arena is sacred and only gods are able to trespass, but Nicklas acts like nothing happens as he simply marches in all arrogantly like. You all look up from the table, adorned with a mirror which grants you your vision on the world and which allows you to guide your people.
"You! Demi creature! By what right are you here?" That one Guy howled at him, aggressively.
Nicklas simply raised his hands, and spoke with his scorched, whispering voice: "We half-gods have signed a treaty for the first time since... ever, actually. And with this contract i claim right to enter this place, and participate in your competition."
"Outrageous!" Claire said, furious. She was about to call justice on this thuggish half god, until The Alchemist stopped her hand with a simple gesture.
"Let us first ask why the demigods would band together like that, and stop their infighting. Tell me, Nicklas, what do you hope to gain from this?"
Nicklas grinned, a grin that showed he knew something they didn't. "We simply want to join this contest to show you we are not just some creature you can abandon and throw in the dust. If we band together, we are a force to be reckoned with. We merely want to show you this"

And so it happened that another force showed up, and joined the fray. You have no doubt they will be a malicious blight on the scene however, but perhaps beating the demigods with their own game will serve them right.

"I never had any children, so you should have no quarrel with me."

After Connor spoke to the demigod, he decided that his species needed to start up an economy, and to set up an alliance with the Hanar, of both are possible, because the Hanar thing isn't on the tree. If not, just the alliance with the Hanar.

Explore, gather resources.

Archaron, knowing that it is time to learn more about their homeland, sends scouting parties, far and wide, each with orders too look for anything noteworthy. Remaining people are ordered to continue hunt or gather resources.

Luxuria looked at the demigod that entered the arena, appearing rather... curious. She was luscious and tempting to mortals and gods alike, so quite a bunch of the demigods would be her children. Of course, she could not understand, why they would choose to fight against her. Instead she had her people learn more on the world they lived in sending out scouts to the sea and above the land alike, she even asked Luna, her precious child to join them.

While the torrent of time would show the results of her people's work, she would turn towards the arrogant demigod. "Nicklas... young one... Why would you join this struggle for nothing... why would my sons and daughters?... Have I not been the caring mother, granting them powers beyond belief?", Luxuria sighed in disbelief at the thought that one of her children would betray her.

Another age has passed, marking the five hundred year milestone. For ye golds this is just a moment passed, for your species it is several generations coming to pass.
The years came and go rather casually without much going on, until suddenly the earth erupted in the far west, clouding the air with pillars of smoke and clouds of ash. Vulcanoes catapulted huge flaming boulders into the air and whatever happened on the other side of the ocean made the horizon turn an ominous red. The aquatic species guided by Luxuria was the only one partly affected, for the massive amounts of tectonic activity send hords of fish of various shapes and sizes their way. While it brought with it a huge stockpile of prey, it also brought the big predators from the depths along, which made the shores where they resided a gamble to survive. In her wisdom, Luxuria ordered her people up the beaches, before she send out her scouts accompanied with her champion Luna.

As the smoke settled and the pillars of destructive ash and fire died down, it became clear what had happened; the earth itself had spit out huge colonies of odd and misshapen creatures, which were quick to settle on the beachheads on the other side of the ocean, and were soon to follow suit with various scouts to check out the land where the various species of the gods resided.

Luxuria's people were the first to come across these hideous abominations, and it didn't took long for Luna to reach the news that a small clash had followed when scouts from both sides met each other. Many of Luxuria's race were lost to the fight, but as they gave their life some rather sickening discoveries could be made about their new obvious enemy.

The scouts that survived the clash and reported back spoke of abominations, humans but part animal, and ridden with metallic pieces. Stories spread quickly of enemies with pieces of metal growing out of eyesockets and other hideous places. The worst thing, however, was that they seemed to duplicate themselves when eating a dead victim; hence it took you fifty people to take out a group of twelve scouts; as they kept feeding on your fallen, their numbers kept increasing.
Protip: this is valuable information. A good commander would use such intel to benefit her own troops. A good merchant however would sell such information to the other species. (too bad you can't do both :p)

Luxuria looked down at the abominations. But it weren't these beasts that caused her anger to rise, it was the eruption that caused the oceans to shake and tremble. The damage that was done to a part of her so loved depths, forcing the predators of the oceans to leave their home. While she loved even those beasts of the ocean, indeed they were a few of her favorite creations, they would now harass her people.

As those hostile forces presented themselves to her people, she spoke with Luna. She sent her out to craft long weapons out of the woods, With a pointy tip their would be as usable in the water, as they were on land.

Bjorn leader of the scout party gave the order. Scouts, hardy and well-trained, quickly formed into groups. Bjorn lead the vanguard, rushing head-in while other two groups tried to flank.

Meanwhile Archaron ordered animals(tundra chargers, rams and ewes) to be caught and tamed.
