Ruins of Lemias
Michiko is able to find a larger gap in the upthrusts of rock walls and corners, presumably where there would have been a city street. It's thankfully far enough from the perch of her ambusher that they would have to either shoot her with a ranged weapon or step out into the open to confront her. It seems they are opting for option B.
She can hear the ambusher hit the ground to her left as she moves by his position. To her right, there is an ancient wall of rock thrust out of the dirt and boxing her in. To her left, where the ambusher arrives, there is a hole in the building that exposes the top half of the first floor and the bottom half of the second floor. The assailant drops out through that hole onto the street beside her. Since she's on a road, there is always the escape route of further into the ruin, or fleeing back from the ruins if she feels the need.
The ambusher can best be described as a bandit. He's a little over six feet tall, caucasian, with longish black hair and two days growth on his beard. A scar runs from the middle of his cheek to his hairline, and who knows how much farther up. He's got some lean muscle on him and he's got on him a club with some iron studs hammered into it for reinforcement. He fixes the ninja girl with a wolfish grin and says to her, "Hey there, girlie. I'll make you the offer since words are free. I'm thinkin' if you get me off and leave me your money, I let you in and out of the ruins this once. I'll even let you leave with whatever you dig up. Care to give me what I want, or do I have to take it from you?" Looks like he's spoiling for a fight, and isn't foolish enough to think she was anything other than an adventurer. (Unless you come up with another approach to this, it'll be a Might based test to battle this bandit).
Inn of the Enchanted Centaur
Tessa approaches Dax and hands him a water cantine presumably filled with the Salamander Stew. It was warm to the touch, definitely a promising sign. "Enjoy, and I hope to see you back here again. Maybe next time with enough time to stay with us for a while?" She gives him another warm smile before heading off to tend to other customers
When the Randomancer conjures his pink unicorn, it gets a genuine bout of surprise from the room as a whole. They are used to adventurers showing off, magicking their drinks, or even conjuring creatures to interrogate. A pink unicorn is odd even for adventurers. Someone is forced to dive from their chair before they are trampled by the mount.
Once the party of four departs from the inn, people mutter to themselves and get back to their eating and drinking. The two guardsmen making their rounds finally get to the bar and Daeris, approaching the elven swordswoman with their grim-and-bored faces. They hold up a scroll for the elven woman to read, asking her, "Have you seen this man?" The illustration on the paper is incredibly well constructed, either made by a master artisan or drawn through magic. It is a rather thugly looking fellow, his head bald on top and his chaw quite distinctly chiseled. While he looks almost human, there are some distinctive traits of orcish heritage on the fellow's face. "He's currently wanted for conspiracy against the Crown and suspected of giving information to orcish elements about human targets. There is a reward of a gold for information leading to his capture, bringing him in alive is worth 5. We aren't interested in him dead, as he can't talk then."
