Furries and humans

Personally I'd rather see only furries (scalies included) in this game; I'm not too big on humans. They're (we're?) not a turn off for me, but not as much of a turn on, either. (Well, ok, male+male human is definitely a turn off.) I'd take a mediocre furry male/female/herm over a hot human female any day. I not going to complain if there'll be humans in the game, but it's just not my preference.

Though I guess it would probably be a bit strange story-wise to have for example bowser, wolf link, zora and midna, but not peach, mario, normal link or zelda... I support the idea of sticking to just nintendo characters; we're probably mixing enough universes as it is. In fact, I would be ok with sticking to just starfox characters. You don't need loads of different characters to make it interesting, as long as you've got some good, creative, varied interactions.

When I think of furries, I usually think of them in a world without humans. It just seems more... logical, for some reason. I know you've already spent a lot of effort on human characters, and you won't be throwing them away, but still... I'd rather we focus mostly on furries.

Does anyone else feel this way, preferring "pure" furry? Or do you prefer mixing furry and human, enjoying the differences? Or do species not matter to you, as long as other conditions are met? What if we throw in bestiality as well? I like furry+animal. Animal+animal and human+animal depends on the style.

Thoughts? Preferences? What's the "official" line here?

if we are going to follow the rough story playshapes outlined, then there's no getting around mixing humans and furries, we can keep it pure nintendo at this point though.

As Trunks says, in following the original brief there will be some human characters, however most of them are going to be female, there isn't going to be very much seen of male humans I think, at least in the official release's vanilla (default) version.

Ay, just what I was about to ask. Human males would be the same as in the original version then, ie, Link and Mario (and maybe Ganon)?

well, monsters and stuff may be intimidating and frightening, but if you need badasses who put those monsters to shame, would be those three... Fox is the damsel in distress this time, isn't he?

I love to see both, furrys and (female) humans. I think it wouldn't be as good with only furry characters.

I like humans female and male but as long as he actually looks like a guy guy, not a girl guy. I'm also a little furry but nothing much past Fox and Krystal. and as for mixing? I'm all for it!

and great Liru, KaTsu! it looks JUST like her, but species wise I thought they were just nekos. they don't really have enough animal features to be considered monster girls in my opinion but what do I know?
