I also want to encourage you once again, Icelink. I like that style :) Do you have a sample of a complete character? I'm especially interested how the legs will look. I'm hoping for digitigrade ones *gg*

Digitigrade? Uh, KaTsu. You want to handle this question on legs?

You know, in a technical sense, digitigrade isn't really adding an extra joint, it's just the proportional location of where these joints are located that gives the impression. In the digitigrade, animals just walk on their toes. What appears to be a 'backward' knee joint is just the heel of a foot. The true knee is where the first joint is located from the top. The bottom-most joint is where the toe bends from its foot.

Oops, sorry for not being clearer KaTsu... I was asking if the characters are allowed to be digitigrade.
Not what it is, sorry about the miscommunication. :oops:

Awesome fact, because I worked yesterday. Not only was I paid overtime for 14 hours of work for 9 hours of actually working. (My boss has a policy of paying me for 5 hours of work up front and then overtime rates for each extra hour, regardless of the initial pay.

Another great fact is that I was told that I don't have to work again until thursday, which gives me more time for art. :D

I'll clean up the character sketches now, and see if I can get them posted up today. Don't worry KaTsu, I'll take my time for this round. (I'm going to try both styles.)

@Biles Yep, that is how it works but It looks like there is an extra bone in the leg and that is all that matters... No need for science, all need for Art ... Now that's my quote.

@Icelink256 Ah, I see. They are certainly allowed to have digitigrade legs and both I and Hind is looking for that so I think they should have unless you don't want it.

Congrats! Remember to use the time well and not only on art ; ) ... Unless you want to then that's even better.

Freedom is sweet, I hope your free time leaves you nothing but sheer time to sleep more and do what you want! Can't wait for more sketches from you, definitely keen on seeing the characters. :)

Yay, I have been officially mentioned XD Time to get the LooM - I mean Sim-Project button out *gg*

@Icelink256: Yes, digitigrade would be very nice ^^ Especially nicely done paws and hooves add a lot, though that may be just me *gg* As far as the erotic scenes go, I think it is important to maintain complete characters instead of rather boring close-ups, although I am aware that this means a lot of work ^^'

I've got an idea so I have now created a test. Hit space once to make a white line go across the black and gray bar. Hit space again to make it stop at ether the middle or at the end. The black block will jump higher and faster if you stop it in the middle. What does that have to do with this game? I think you'll figure it out.

I see what u did thar :twisted: :lol:

I think it is a good start. It doesn't require constant button-mashing, but it is something different than the simple "Slow-Fast-Faster" buttons. Plus if we bear in mind that you are not the only one with "needs" in this game it might become something neat :D

Sorry for up and disappearing yesterday, the new guy at work hurt himself, so I was called back to fill in for him.
Today, i'm covered, and still have today and tomorrow free.
I WAS going to post something yesterday, but after work I just went straight to bed.

This morning, my friend chris dropped off my repaired computer-- no scanner though.
(It's beyond repair, apparently.)

Well, after spending the morning setting up my computer, and making plans to have internet hooked up on saturday, the rest of my day is open-- so... I can finally finish up some art! yay!

@Red.Sheer Indeed, no buttons required and the bar will be hidden so nothing on screen. The concept is that you hit the button two times and if you wait a half second before the second press then it will take a half second for it to move all the way in. It is a way for you to set how fast you want to thrust, stroke, rub, suck, lick... Depending on the action.


@Icelink256 Aww, that's sad to hear but at least no more problem for now. Does no internet mean that you can't post any art before Saturday? I'm just really curios what you'll show next time.

Nah, i'm good. I can still post as long as my 3DS doesn't get lost or broken. XP
My new computer is pretty damn good, but my friend forgot to put the internet card back. heh. :)

You may notice that "X'd" box where the back positions' left hand should be, this is because I haven't drawn in so long, that I no longer have the capabilities to draw hands correctly. So feel free to "bring me out to the woods and beat to me death with my own corpse / point me to any non-video how-to draw some GODDAMN HANDS tutorial(s)" Even just hand references would be useful, at least until I can bloody well draw them again.

The last resort is locking myself in my closet, and not to leave until my art skill returns.

Good job, It looks promising.

The front view is pretty nice, the back view is not quite there but I think it is because of the legs. The legs on the front view is also a a bit off but good enough. Then we have her paws. Her right paw goes out in a quite odd way on the front view, almost like it is a foot.

You don't need to trace it unless you want to practice that. Think of what you're doing now as practice because the real work begins with the planned characters that Hind have done a great job with.

On the front pose, I was attempting a dynamic position, but redrew her legs as digitigrade. Which kind of buggered up the idea, i'll see if I can fix that issue. Yeah, the back pose is a little blech, but I think that I did a good job with her ass. Though, i'm not sure how long her tail should be... The way it is right now seems more... natural.
(That, and I used the good old diamond-ass tail alignment trick, you should be able to see the lines in the photo.)

The triangle trick that I was explaining to Cthulhu on his art thread, is also visible in my frontal sketch. (Not really necessary lines, but I wanted to illustrate my example in some way.)

But, yeah, I'll keep at practicing for now. This project will really help my artistic discipline, not to mention the fact that furries are awesome. There are certainly not enough games like these being made.

...Cool reference, KaTsu! Saved right onto my SD card! Now I can use it as "top screen" reference in some sketching sessions.

The male dog will be posted... not for a while. The eraser tore a huge hole in the paper, where his hands were going. :(

@Icelink256 Heh, you start on something and then you change it and it brakes things. Well, you won't need to change things so much now when you know the most things which is always nice. It is good that that is taken care of in the beginning.

Yeah, you did a good job on the ass but the legs kind of ruined it sadly. The lines between her ass and knees would need to go more straight to the knees instead of bulking out like that but that's the only problem really. The tail is pretty good as it is, maybe a bit thick but I like thicker tails so it's only a bit too thick. The length is pretty good as well.

"There are certainly not enough games like these being made" That's the most true thing I've heard since someone said that most people bought the 3DS because of Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64. With this project I'm aiming for a amount of content that can build a big piece of the missing bridge. Other bridges have been completed long ago but they are still making pieces for it. This bridge however is not even done.

Be gentle with that eraser, remember that what's drawn on the paper will be brought to life later.

Wow, Icelink, that is a nice kitty. I really love that figure :) I'm no artist, so my critique maybe a bit unfounded, but in contrary to other opinions I can't find anything severly wrong with that and I really look forward to how it'll all turn out :)

The only thing is that the legs don't really match the paws, which is because you changed the plantigrade legs and feet in a last efford, as you said. But if you draw it this way in the first place I think it'll be very needo :D And the fluffy tail is nice *gg*

Some of you might remember that I plan on making jobs in to mini-games. I think it can bring up a bit of confusion so I have actually put together a concept demo of one of the possible mini-games. I also need to say that the idea of this one is from Hind and she have done a great job with the different characters so far which I hope you'll all will enjoy but she have also been sharing other great ideas too.

This is a library job where you need to put rented books on the right shelves. Not the most advance game but it is solid and I think it is easy enough to understand. Also, you'll earn more money the faster you do it and the more score you got.

If you have any idea of a job mini-game, please let us know.
