Hunter: The Rapening IC

(You've all waited patiently [except you, hades] and I thank you for that [and you, hades], and now that I got some little free time [not really, gotta go back to the house up in the city again to finish cleaning] I decided [Hades poked at me] to make the beginning post now. So, without further ado [Meaning no more waiting, Hades] Here is the first post for the game, just don't go posting-happy like in the other, recent rps.)



Onatoma, a peaceful, quiet city, or it was. Dark creatures of the night have started to manifest there, coming from the depths of the sewers, taking hold of the mortal planes, hunting the bystanders, people who undergone the hunter transformation, but rejected it (and lived). At day, the world seems peaceful, those that can see the darkness thinks it a nightmare, a nightmare that is lived each night. Succubi, Incubi, Demons, ghosts, zombies, everything that can take form from darkness did. And it's because of this, that a Visionary sent out the signal to surrounding Hunters to go to the town and find a way to destroy the threat, peacefully or otherwise.....


Garian arrived in town during the morning, putting some money that he earned doing side jobs into a large hotel room, a suite on the top floor. Once inside, he set to work creating a Hunter-network, a hub inside the city for other hunters to connect to and chat if they were not together or in the same room. it wasn't of high quality as you'd find from Other, well off hunters, but it'd do for this small-time operation that they'd have going. He sighed slightly, his sky-blue eyes looking over each and every detail he set into place, the time of day, the creatures that were reported, hunter data-files so that they'd know eachother a little more, his gloved hand ran through his black hair, sweating over the job, even though Air-conditioning was on. It took a few hours, but he had finally finished and celebrated by laying on the couch nearby and falling asleep.

Almost as soon as Garian set up the network, he receives a notification of an IM from Amelia. "The darkness lingers heavilt in this p;ace/ Ot os destony that we meet here."

Garian read the IM and chuckled to himself before replying "Destiny has nothing to do with what we do and who accepts our Contact's assignments." He replied, he didn't believe in destiny.

Claire sighs as she searches the web. She finds Garian's network and clicks it. She sends Garian a message/IM saying "Hey. So, out of curiosity, why'd you make this site chat room thingy?".

Garian sighed, and typed in "Ease of access, in case you lot get lost or need a quick update from someone here in the Control Room"

Claire scratches her head and starts to type "So, is this to help meet people as well? Like helping others hunt things?"

"Hunting sounds great." Jason added, join in Claire's conversation. "But we don't need the help. I've been managing on my own to protect my part of this city for a long time now, I don't need the rest of you."

Claire chuckles. "Heh, so we've a badass here. Well how long have you been doing this?"

(I see your meme reference and call you on your bullshit.)

"Since I was 16." Jason replied. "You?" Jason ponders Claire's question. He never considered himself a badass, just someone who was doing what needed to be done. Maybe he did kick ass, but he wasn't one to gloat and brag about it.

Claire types her message "Eh, I've never really hunted. I'm more of the helper who stands back and watches." .

"Exactly. Useless. You aren't a real hunter, what are you even doing here?" Jason was a bit ticked off now. He didn't like people who stood by and watched, even if they were helping in some way. In Jason's mind, you either fought or you did nothing. There was no middle ground.

Claire frowns. She wipes the tear that starts to drip down her face. She sighs and types "That's why I'm here, maybe you guys could help me and turn me into a full hunter."

Jason lets out a laugh at Claire's question. Not that she could hear it, anyways. "I don't have time to babysit. If you aren't a hunter already, you're not going to become one any time soon."

Claire types another message "Well, you never know, maybe I could be a great hunter."

"I HIGHLY doubt it." Jason didn't care for this person already, whoever it was. Until he saw this person actually prove themselves to him through combat, they wouldn't get an inch of respect out of Jason.

[Lady Foxy]

Lucy, 'Dallas' had connected into the network of the Hunter named Garian. Simple indeed, she leaned back in her chair and began to type a set of words that may have been taken.. Badly.

''Are you two going to fight each other, while our true enemy is out there doing who knows what? You're better than that.'' She smirked, fixing her black glasses while knowing that fighting between 'friends' was useless.

Claire wipes her tears again. She leaves her computer and walks over to her bed. She burries her face in the pillow and sobs.

Jason leans back after typing his message, a little thankful someone else joined to back him up... Sort of.

"You right, I got better things to do then sit here and argue. Who knows what the demon bastards are up to at this time...."

[Lady Foxy]

Dallas gave a smirk to herself and typed the following:

''Yeah, we all do. Also, you need to stop being a douche towards others. Take your hate out on the demons. Got it, 'buddy'?'' If her text would have a voice, it would have been.. Serious, intimidating and honest.

Garian groaned, already people were getting along the way he thought they will, which was poorly. "Alright, whatever, you guys meet at the Ona-Hotel and we can discuss a plan further. Jason, leave the attitude or I'll drop you." He typed in and then logged off the IM Area, and placed in the Hunter-Net the Meeting location
