Dax moves to acknowledge the new girl then hesitates. She seemed a little upset and he didnt want to give a bad first impression but upon waiting a few minutes she seemed to be not quite so upset so he walks over to her offering his hand," Uh hi, I`m Dax nice to meet you?" He says the last part as a question not knowing her name.

Mia found that the hand in her left shoulder was gone, thanking Luna with a smirk before stepping a bit away from the -three- now while looking around the hangar -- shortly to turn around at them. ''He's leading the mission? That's.. So horrible. Anyways, yeah.. Where's the Admiral? You know something Luna..? Emile?'' She asked with her eyes fixed on the two, as if expecting them to know the answer.

Then, the third person she hadn't really bothered to know -- since she hadn't even noticed him fully yet had walked up to her and offered his hand.

Mia gave a nod as a response and thought, 'What's up with all of these people presenting themselves like it's some reunion of politicians? It's the army, for Earth's sake!'. ''I don't know where that hand has been.. So, guys! Know anything?'' She walked away from him and back to Emile and Luna, seeming a bit more friendlier towards them since they're the first that she met before others began to pour in.

Emile grins at irvine "you can my back while I watch Yolandi's" then he answers Mia's question "Well if you missed the briefing then you might have missed him telling us that our glorious job is ferrying some soldier that is going to take our jobs and that this last mission will be our last before we all get discharged."

"Well..that was what I was asking, but about Spineless Coward, I was listening in to that little conversation between you and him. He did say he would be leading us.."Luna looked at Mia. She should've already known all that..or maybe she was just confused, maybe.
She stepped back from the conversation, crossing her arms as she watched a third person walk up to Mia and introduce himself. He was Dax, then..the same guy she had bumped into earlier.
Mia soon came back along with a question.
Luna didn't answer, leaving it to Emile to brief Mia. He did at least give the correct information..this was going to be their last mission for some reason..ferrying some supersoldier that was going to replace them. If said soldier was that strong, why couldn't he escort himself? Sheesh.
"That's about it, in a nutshell. I'm surprised, Emile. Didn't know you could give a decent briefing."
Luna smiled, turning away to walk to some seats in the bay to wait for the Admiral.

"well what do you expect from a frontline soldier" Irvine said smirking "all they think of is how many bullets does it take to kill how many enemies"

Emile winks at Luna "there's a whole lot you don't know about me" he says before walking back to lean against the wall closest to the entrance to the hanger.

Mia gave an 'Oh' before walking over to where Luna had taken a seat and sat down next to her, an arm around her while her legs where crossed. ''Well, if babysitting some super soldier is our job.. Why can't we do it right? I mean.. We're going to be discharged.. No? We might as well see what's all the fuzz is about with him.'' She spoke quietly while her eyes wandered around the bay. Her attitude seemed friendly, but military like when it came to seriousness -- it didn't bother her to be all that relaxed around Luna.. After all, she was going to be her partner for the mission!

Luna looked up, noticing Mia walking over to take a seat next to herself. She had wanted to be alone for the rest of the time they had to wait..but oh well, then.
"The other's didn't exactly take the being discharged part too well..hence all your commotion."
She palmed her forehead in exasperation.
"Also, why do we have a escort a soldier that's supposed to be strong enough to replace all of us? I mean, looking at us we are a odd mix of people anyway..probably just a ragtag crew. Still, you're right. We'll have to see what's so big about Mr. Supersoldier.."
Her voice was dangerously low and annoyed.
It seemed like their superiors were rubbing their dismissals in their faces with such a last mission..escorting the reason of why they were being discharged to safety..

Arriving at the Shuttle Bay, Greg takes a look around, getting a head-count on those present so far. He sees Yolandi, Emile, and two men and women (each) that he has yet to get the names of. Still no "Admiral Fuck-Over," though...

Walking forward, Greg decides to introduce himself. "Hey folks. Greggory Spade here, but you can call me 'Greg' for short." Once the new people are done with their introductions, he then turns to look at Emile, deciding that perhaps the morale between them can be salvaged somehow. "Umm yeah, sorry about earlier...I think we got off on the wrong foot. How about you and I just clear the slate, and let bygones be bygones? We'll be working together on this, after all, so the less friction the better." Truth be told, Greg feels a little guilty about ranting off in that message earlier; it was mostly just Emile having struck a nerve with the "fucked up a mission" comment, anyway.

Emile looks over Greg, glaring at him before sticking his hand out "I appreciate the gesture and hopefully you'll get my back when i need it most, Comrade." Emile grins at him before adding "besides it wouldn't be good for me to have too many enemies on my team."

Irvine watched greg in "i give my own nicknames to people" he said "usually on how they look, act, or a something theyve done"

Mia nodded once again before looking away towards the rest of the team was, if there weren't any more members. Her eyes looked over the newest addition to the group though, looking at him intensely while he talked with Emile. Thus then glanced at Luna.

''Huh. Probably they got into trouble, my guess. Also, who are those people showing up? There are more yet?'' She asked in her low tone before staring back at the group, wanting to see how they acted so she could figure out if they were serious or just plain silly.

Greg accepts the handshake, feeling a bit of relief that Emile's at least willing to attempt the fresh start. "Hey, we're a team, after all. If we didn't cover each other's backs, I don't think we'd last very long, eh? Besides, from what I can tell, you and I are both close-range types; keeping you covered shouldn't be too hard." He chuckles mildly with that last statement.

Emile laughs "cover my back just make sure i don't kill the captain because from what i here not only is he a prick he almost beat a private to death. So he's pretty fucked up then. But all I know is if he fucks with anyone from my team he's going to find a kife in his back or himself falling off a cliff." he grins and slaps Greg on the back "but hey lets not worry about that untill it happens , otherwise what do you pack when you go shooting?"

Dax drops his hand in embarassment at her remark, the tips of his ears turning red as she walks away. Then he notices Greg and Emile making up their differences cuasing him to let out a sigh of relief,"Thats a relief I was worried that would get ugly." He says quietly to himself then stands off to the side and watches everyone waiting for the Admiral to appear and give them their final briefing before touchdown.

Luna giggled softly.
"Well, except you, we were all locked into our rooms. The Admiral and Spineless Coward aren't winning any points with us for that."
She noticed Mia's intense look at Greg..
"That's Greggory Spade, seeing as he just introduced himself..you seem to be interested in him."
Luna smiled, pointing at Greg as she spoke. No doubt Greg and that old guy..Resh, was it?..were the most level-headed and calm of their ragtag bunch.
She looked back to Mia as she asked another question.
"Hm. Yeah, there's still another girl..Yolandi, I think. That guy's called Irvine, don't know too much about him..Emile was the main reason we probably all got kicked into our rooms..Another old guy called Resh who hasn't arrived yet. That guy who introduced himself to you just now was Dax, though you should know that..and...Spineless Coward and Crichton, probably.
Luna quickly pointed out the people in the room to Mia, her tone getting a bit dismissive when it got to the Captain and the Admiral.
She glanced over to Emile and Greg, the latter slapping the former on the back genially. Least it seemed like they had made up..

Greg winces for a moment when he hears about the Captain's antics. Nearly beating a private to death? That's definitely cause for concern...though, if he tries it when Mr. Spade's around, that Captain just might find his teeth roundhouse-kicked out of his mouth, and jammed into his fingers. Greg's not normally that brutal, but power-abuse like that is...well, let's just say it brings out a side of him that's rarely seen.

Trying to put that out of his mind for now, Greg answers Emile's question about armaments: "Well, like I said, I'm generally a close-range type, but I'm more about finesse and technique than straightforward guns-blazing action. Typical armament for me is an SMG in one hand, and a bayonet or machete in the other. Call me crazy or old-fashioned, but I've always been a fan of blades." While mentioning the part about "finesse and technique," Greg strikes something of a martial arts pose, as if to illustrate his point. "Though to be fair, my real specialty is in aerial combat. Got me the nickname 'Ace of Spades' a few years back, but 'Beowulf' always stuck better as a code-name for me." The title "Ace of Spades" is well-deserved, too; Mr. Spade once fended off a swarm of 15 bogey fightercraft single-handedly, downing 9 of them in his aerial war-mech, before the remaining 6 hauled ass in a frantic retreat.

Lina entered the hanger looking tired and warn.... or well she entered where ever everyone else is.

Yolandi arrived a little after everyone due to her shower. she brushed her wet hair back, she has shaved it into a short mohawk. and is now standing at ease awaiting the admirals message. she smiles at Emile.
