Hey,

I have a problem, the game won't start.
First I get the error of not having the RGSS202E.dll even though I do have it.
I already have games like despair labyrinth and elysium and I can play those but not this one.
After I copy the RGSS202E.dll into the same folder as game.exe it no longer gives the error of RGSS202E.dll.
BUT it does give me this error: 'RPGVX RTP is not found'
I dont know what to do.. please help me, I think it's a really nice game.

Delete Harem, redownload, and try again. 99% of the time shit like that is caused by a bad download. Send me a PM if you need the MF link.

Also, you have to have been whoring Phoebe in the brothel and unlocked one of her scenes BEFORE finding the pillar of fire in the mines, else the whole sequence goes differently and won't trigger.

...Just sayin'.

What Do I do with the Mine? I went in but the monster there in the 2nd room does alot and kills me. And I get an Tentacle Attack scene. Am I supposed to get that?

Actually that's incorrect, both the dark path and any Phoebe interdependency. You can do it from either path, but it is aligned with the light side. You need to own the brothel and tell Noemi to whore in it. She'll refuse. Go back to the base and talk to her. You'll be given an option to convince, force or wait. Try to convince her to get the quest that ends in that scene.

Well, 90% of the scenes aren't exactly Dark or Light path exclusive, but Forcing her gives you Dark points, while Talking gives you Light points.

i have been out of for some days but i'd like to thank you StarkePT for post the link of Harem in despair page i didnt knew this but i loved it, great works we have here of rpg maker thank god.And a did like to ask when i can hope to see the next adventures of ralph lol i freaking out of my dirty mind imagining what will happen next.

I just think all those three games, Elysium, Despair and Harem deserve a lot of recognition because their creators are doing such an amazing job.

Phoe - Thanks but Kathleen won't have a combat role. All of her neat abilities actually happened because she was possessed by the spirit of an ancient wizard and you only captured her by breaking that link. At least in 0.6a and b, I might let that idea bounce around a bit in my head before deciding whether or not to kill it.

who isn't? its such a great game! btw my only complaint is that it ends JUUUUST when the story starts getting good.
@ker I'll be glad to help out in anyway i can. i dont have any real talent with writing, but i have some experience with RPGmaker VX (Abomination is my current work-in-progress XD) I'll be glad to help out with map making and/or troubleshooting. Anyway, Keep up the great work!

Got to admit that I did not have high hopes for this one, but wow. Tis great


I recon the light/dark alignment system in this one is especially good as opposed to most H-games have played where the dark choices are the fun one's, this accually made me feel like a colosal asshole while playing through the dark alignment.

There are a few spelling mistakes though along the way, and an annoying bit in the mines where it shows up as: "Tentacle BAttacks" and similar problems but for 0.5.1 this is definatly not bad at all

Well the idea isn't dead. I will say for sure that she won't have a combat role in 0.6 a/b. But having her face the lich again might make for a good story. Hmm....
