Greg momentarily wants to chew out Emile something fierce for the "threatening? I would never" comment - seeing how he caught Emile doing it just now, IN PLAIN SIGHT - but decides it's not worth the fuss. A guy like that tends to get what's coming to him, anyhow. Instead, he decides to address a few of his own concerns:

"Disregarding the rather...'direct' man's antics, I do have two things on my mind. First off, there's the armament issue that others have addressed. And second, is there anything...specific, that we should know about Argonnaught? You know, for tactical purposes?" If there's any weak spots or concerns in their "secret weapon," better to know about them now than when the heat is on.

Dax though curious about this argonaught character that would be taking their jobs the thought that he might no longer be a soldier, the thing he was best at, drove him from the room unable to stand the very air of the room. He heads off after Emile.

Everyone who left the Bridge:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Two guards appear at your sides, each grabbing your shoulder. Half picking you up, half dragging you, they place you back into the bridge. When the door closes behind them, you hear a small click. It seems they have locked you in.

Everyone in the bridge:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Captain pulls out his pistol and fires off a shot to the ceiling, silencing everyone. When you look to see the bullet hole, you notice there isn't one. Seems to be loaded with blanks.

Admiral Crichton on the other hand, is simply furious. To have such an insubordinate crew... "What the HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE ALL DOING?! And you call yourselves soldiers! Star Operatives, the best of the best! Best of the best my ass! Here you all, threatening myself and each other like you'r all goddamned six year olds! I should have each and everyone of you court martialed, see how you like that for a 'last mission'...! Disgraceful, all of you! To your rank, your planet and to me! To hell with you all, I'm sentencing all of you to solitary confinement for one day! GUARDS!"

Immediately, twenty armored men burst into the room. Two of them grab you each by the shoulders, and drag you out of the Bridge, to your own rooms. All the way, you see soldiers laughing and pointing at you, most with disappointment and shame. When thrown into your rooms, you hear the door close and lock. You have all been locked in your rooms for the day!

Not all is lost, however. Your communicators beep, and the breathy woman's voice is back, this time clear as crystal. "Good afternoon, Operatives! For your next mission, you have been assigned Firing Mates. This partner will be your lifeline in the battlefield, so the Earth Military strongly suggests you trust them and get acquainted! Usually, when under house arrest, soldiers are not permitted to communicate with each other. However, Admiral Crichton has made a special request: Using your communicators, you are allowed to voice-chat with your partner, and only your partner! Please use this wisely. Have a nice day, and good luck! A list pops up on your wrists, listing your names and who you are partnered with. The list goes as follows:

Emile and Yolandi
Lina and Gregory
Dax and Resh
Irvine and Claire
Lunalesca and Mia

(You can only talk to your partner for now, and you cannot escape your room, so don't try. The "day" will end on May 17, 5:00 EST. I will post to let you all out of your rooms. Also, fuck the weapons sheet. Just post in the IC what you want.)

Mia received a message on her communicator, looking at it before being informed by the Admiral to meet him almost immediately. Without hesitation, she was jogging towards his location in the ship -- never being the one to disobey rules or orders.

Mia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

On your way to the Bridge, your communicator beeps again. "Request has been repealed. Have a nice day." Seems the Admiral no longer needs you? Anyways, you still have your partner's number to communicator, and your E-map of the ship. On it is the mess hall, armory, training room, battery, medic station, and bridge.

Outside the bridge, you notice a huge, muscle bound man step out and head to the Training room, flanked by six or seven armed soldiers. You recognize the insignia on his shoulder, making him a Captain.

Dax grumbled to himself his face flushed with shame. After being thrown in his room he recieves the message about his firing mate and decides to get to know him better and pass the time. Queing up Resh's number on his communicator he sends him a message,"Well hello there I'm Dax and it looks like were going to be getting to know each other better."

Mia raised both of her eyebrows and swept one a couple of strands of light brown hair behind her right ear. ''Seems like I'm not needed anymore..?'' She thought before noticing the huge, muscle bound man with the 'Captain' insignia on his shoulder as he is headed towards the training room; no doubt carrying his armed soldiers like some kind of pet dogs.

Nonetheless, Mia decided to go check out what was going to happen in the training room. Maybe somebody was had challenged him? Well, she was going to find out yet.

Mia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

There is a large crowd inside the training room, all standing around the sparring ring. You can't see inside the ring, but you can hear it.

"FIGHT BACK, YOU COWARD! I SAID FIGHT-THE-FUCK-BACK!" Seems someone is fighting in the ring. From the response of the crowd, hald of them seems to enjoy the fighting, half of them look like they might throw up at any moment.

Emile fights the guards the whole way back to his room yelling "YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THIS!" before they lock him in the room. He starts paceing back and forth trying to find a way out until he realizes there isn't one, then his communitcator beeps and notifies him that his firing squadmate will be Yolandi. Emile grumbles "best news i've heard all day." before sending her a message to start up the chat.

Mia bit her lower lip as her eyes widened at the yelling coming from the inside of the ring, making her worried as some of the faces around looked like if they were about to throw up. Training exercises were either for training, as their supposed to or the simple excuse for two angry soldiers to 'fight' out a problem.

She decided that if nobody was going to stop whatever beating was happening inside, she was going to do something.

And she did, trying as gently as possible to push her way before attempting to get inside the ring and stop the horrible act.

Mia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Once you manage to get to the edge of the ring, you can clearly see what everyone is grossed out/mesmerized by. Inside the ring is the Captain, who is now wearing his pants and a muscle shirt. You notice a golden trident tattoo on his abdomen. On the other side of the ring is a new recruit, who can't be any older then 18. From the looks of it, the fight is pretty one sided.

The Captain's muscles are bulging, stretching his shirt. There isn't a spot on him, and looks as though he hasn't even broken a sweat. The recruit however, seems a little more worse for wear. Both of his eyes have been blackened, his nose a bloodied, flat mess. His nose looks like it may be broken. His cheeks and lips are cut all over, and his face has begun to swell over his eyes. You can see his bare chest, and it too has bruises and marks all over it, blood splatters on the front. The new guy can barley stand, and the Captain looks like he's winding up for another punch. "DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? I SAID FIGHT BACK, PRIVATE!" You now know who is shouting. The Captain's voice sounds much like a drill Sergeant's: Loud and extremely commanding.

"Whoa, cool off. I'm the crazy one here."
Luna sat back in the seat as the Admiral whipped out a pistol and shot at the ceiling, silencing everyone in the immediate vicinity.
She briefly tuned out as the Admiral started yelling, lost in her own world for the few moments Crichton screamed at them.
A light tap on her shoulder roused her from her daydream and she glanced behind her at an armored guard who withdrew his hand quickly.
He gestured nervously to the door, as if he wanted her to leave the room now.
Luna smiled, standing up from the leather seat.
"Relax. I'm pretty normal when I'm not killing anyone."
She genially tapped the guard back on the shoulder once, giggling when the guard recoiled.
Her reputation was that bad, hm?
The soldiers they passed along the way were quiet when she walked by, no sign of laughter among them.
Luna raised an eyebrow. Maybe removing that man's feet and hands was a bit too far..maybe.
A few minutes later she was seated on the bed in her room. The doors closed and locked, virtually impossible to break out from without a bunch of explosives.
She sighed heavily. All she did was ask for her weapons back..and now, this.
That stupid Emile guy was going to get them discharged even before the mission started. Sheesh.
Luna looked down at her communicator as it beeped again.
Firing Mates? The hell were those? It did seem like she had been partnered with someone else, though..let's see here..Mia Dutchson.
She was allowed to talk to her, it seemed. Least it was a way to break the monotone..
Lunalesca tapped on Mia's name and the communicator linked them up. Not having called anyone before, she wasn't so sure how this thing worked, though..
"Um, hello. This thing working? Can you hear me, Mia?"
She tested the comm.

Mia was about to step inside the ring before her communicator beeped lowly, sighing very desperately as she typed a hurried message back to the sender.

--''Busy, trouble. No worry.''--

Was all she managed to send before jumping into the ring and doing a surprise uppercut on the Captain, possibly sending him stumbling backwards before kneeling down to the poor private.

''Hey, hey.. You're all right? It's fine, I'll get you to the medical bay.. Jesus Christ..'' She muttered the last part before fixing her black tank top and smoothly tried to pull the private into one of the corners of the ring, telling the nearby crew to take him to the medical bay.

''You people just get crazier by the day.. I swear..'' Mia spoke to no one before attempting to leave the ring how she first entered it, quietly.

Mia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Try as you might to leave the ring, the crowd who loved the fight isn't having any of your passivity shenanigans. You did manage however, to stun the Captain, who wasn't expecting the punch. After he recovers however, he's right-royally pissed.

"The hell do you think you'r doing, soldier! He is MY recruit, I can do whatever the hell I damn well please with him! Now you let go of his yellow-bellied ass and let him FIGHT!" So now you'r stuck in the ring with a seemly passed out recruit and one pissed off Captain. Oh Mia, what are we going to do with you? *Ultra cheesy family sitcom music!*

Luna raised an eyebrow as the communicator beeped, returning a reply.
"That was fast.."
She read the message. Seemed like Mia was in a bit of a tangle somewhere in the ship.
And here she was, locked in without a way to get out.
Luna shook her head, sighing out of boredom.
"Right. What's happening on your side?."
She spoke into the communicator as she glanced around the room. Nothing much to do here, really..
Luna heard Spineless Coward shouting in the background and she sat up.
That was bad. Mia was probably stuck with him somewhere..and she knew his type. The abusive, overbearing kind of male bastard.
She knew his type so well..it was one of them that had made her go crazy..
Luna shook her head, focusing on Mia's predicament. No point in remembering lost memories that were better left forgotten. That could be saved for another post.
"It does sound like you're in a bit of trouble with Spineless Coward, Mia..my little nickname for the Captain, by the way."

Mia turned around and reached for her waist -- where her holster would be, which it wasn't. Also, reaching for the missing combat knife on her lower right leg would be a waist of time too. She was left with a sigh as she looked up at the Captain.

''You have almost beaten him to death, Captain. If you continue, you could kill him. Having him KIA by a friendly who is possibly on steroids by yourself would be a disappointment for his parents, don't you think? Now, you either let me carry him to the medical bay or.. Are you a total savage?'' She outright spoke sure of what she was doing before leaning down to pick up the private, although she was also ready if the brute of the Captain attempted anything; which would be rolling to the side and deal a strong kick to the back of his knees which would knock him on his back.

--Mia is currently busy, so maybe you can figure out she heard the beep on the communicator but is in a risky situation to see the messages?--

Mia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Although confused at first, the Captain laughs at your retort. "KIA? In a sparring match! Now that would be funny! No, you let him leave then. Go ahead, take him to the Med Bay, let him grow weak! I only have the strong on my squad, and if he can't take it, he gets left behind! That's the way it works in real life, Missy! The Captain walks up and gets right in your face before leaving. "But you'd better pray to God I don't see your face around here again. Or his. Got it?" The Captain storms away, the crowd making room for him. You now notice everyone is starring at you. Some in disgust that you stopped him, others in silent relief someone stood up. Either way, there is a path out of the room. The recruit has passed out.

Mia had kept a serious face as the Captain just proved he was a simple grunt with steroids and a higher rank, but with a sigh of relief she carried the unconscious private on her right shoulder before carrying him all the way to the medical bay and began to make the personnel attend him immediately.

When they were working on him, she took a moment to sit down somewhere next to him as she worked on her comm.

--''i had to give an ape a lesson. So, Spineless Coward eh? Still, you won't believe that he thought it may be funny he could have killed the private. Wow. By the way, I'm Mia. You're um.. Luna, no? My squad mate?''--
