Oh, Sai...

Pairings won't be forced on ya, per se, even with Gwyn. Don't want 'em, move on. Not that I have the smallest shred of sympathy, but Kita's already mentioned that much.

If you mean "They probably won't get to MEET the members of the primary 8 that I like" though ... well.

I do, in fact, mean the latter. I have mentioned before that girl-on-girl does nothing (or, at least, very little) for me.

Mac-
Yeah, I will need to update that link to the RTP for sure. Originally it was just the RPG VX RTP that was linked, but ever since Ace came out, that's been the default one--and of course, it won't work for DLaby. Thanks for reminding me.

Ayame-
Thanks! Also I see that you're a new member, so, welcome and I appreciate you posting here!

Others-
I don't believe that means they won't EVER meet other members of the Primary 8, in fact I lean very heavily towards the opposite. However, the pairings (I'll go ahead and finish the other two for you--Emilia / Cesca and Lanie / Sairyn) simply mean that those girls are connected in some form or another, not necessarily romantically, although that can happen for some. All of them carry some connection to the main storyline though, so.

Anyway, I'm pretty swamped this week but I'll try to be more productive. Got two H-scenes already done in terms of just the main body of writing (not personalization, yet anyway). Will probably work on a couple more then figure out the body of what's going to happen in terms of events.

i agree how much more fans the better to have new things to discussion is always a good thing at least on my view, and welcome to the forum Ayame, I agree with pairing the primary eight in history content it would be more fun with some rivalry, friendship (not seeing much that one with every1), or romantic not my preference but it could work but i dunno, i think i never commented anything about sairyn before since i dont played much with her but i agree with the point of her so far she tends to miss a lot in her skill i had hard times beating xanrud first encounter with her due to blind and no cure for debuffs (my greatest challenge remember buying heallnig and mana stuff always).

Backing to our new conrade ill go to my point what u like more in the game? always good to know new opinions about the game.

I don't get it how people can find this game hard when leveling is so easy, grinding is like, max level in 30 minutes.

Honestly, me neither. Xanrud's more annoying than difficult, and if you've got an MP draining move, he turns into a toothless damage sponge like THAT.

Played the latest versions, and I have to say I have enjoyed playing it. My only complaint is that I wish there were more facial expressions for the characters mugshots during cutscenes (Emilia was the only one who I thought had all the right ones)

currently playing through as Thyme, we'll see how interesting things get.

Well, I'll put it this way. The Rogues' Division employs a bunch of peasants, hooligans and thugs whose job involves getting word out on the street or to spread propaganda amongst the commoners, as well as gathering information at the lower socioeconomic levels of Elynsor. They aren't particularly well-trained nor powerful, as you can see. However, people like Enyo and the Military Division guard are supposed to be stronger than your average joe, so if they're too easy, I don't mind fixing that. I'm a little worried about the Enyo situation though since if you're alone as Lanie, I think you can pretty much get one-shotted, plus you still have to fight the four brawlers after that should you succeed.

This definitely won't be the last you'll see of Enyo, I'll say that much. I'm glad people like her just from her introduction, though.
As far as the expressions for portraits, roughly half of the non-H cutscenes are done as of 0.09 for all characters, not just Emilia. It's just that Irine and Rhiannon really do not have much at all, but I worked with what I had, as I have scoured the Interbutts sites, both English and Japanese, for more stuff of those characters with no results. For Irine I'm not surprised, but Rhiannon I'd have expected there to be more... a shame.
At any rate, I'm working on updating the older H-scenes to have facial expressions for all of the characters.

Personally I did find the facial expressions to be a slight bit of an issue as well, though, but something I rather much overlooked...Nice call on that one, Kuragari

Also, KITA if you could allude to my post on the fetish discussion thread >.>

@KITA: lanie is my favourite girl by far and i didn't have a problem against enyo or the four brawlers. i'd probably say ramping up the difficulty is a good idea.

edit: also about the gwyn campfire scene, i've noticed that it takes longer for red and blue to interrupt you if your purity is higher
the highest purity i've done the scene with is 97, and i was wondering if that will get me the longest incarnation of the scene if that makes sense? or if there is more to it at a higher purity

I already explained my deal with the facial expressions. -_-; I didn't edit all of those myself, I scoured quite a few VX resource sites in order to acquire the sets that I do have. And like I said, I already have all of the non-H event ones finished and over half of the H event ones complete as well.

I'm not going to ramp up the difficulty for the common thugs, only for that Military Division guy, because they're supposed to be good fighters, as well as Enyo and maaaybe the Rhiannon battle, though I just gotta be a little careful with it. I made Enyo and Rhiannon's stats based off of the Sairyn and Rhiannon PCs, respectively. Mainly 'cause right now it feels 'correct' in how well the girls can handle a common thug right out of the gate--that is, with relative ease. A guy like Xanrud on the other hand isn't gonna fall with two hits, maybe just a bit more, and can finish you if you're being careless. :P That's how I'd like it to feel, relevant to flavor anyway.

It is a shame that Rhiannon and Irine don't have more, though if you can track down someone who has experience modifying mugshots (I'd actually suggest hunting down some Megaman Battle Network Sprite artists, or MMZ or MMZX ones, as there are a number that love to work on mugshots) you might be able to get somewhere.

Oh, and I don't remember how far this ever got discussion wise, but what are the chances of at some point in the relatively near future being able to play as a male character? It wouldn't have to be that Orp*can't remember his name* guy, it could perhaps be a rogue of somesort within the Redclaw Syndicate who wants to rise through the ranks and become the head of the entire criminal organization. I think that'd be an interesting addition, especially with the purity system (you could actually play it so that said character wants to reform/reforge the syndicate into something better)

That your personal opinion on the whole concept of having a male character to play as, the playing as a male member of the syndicate, or the actual consensus of the fans here at that time that no, there was no interest in playing a male character in this game?
