The Institute

In current day in a different timeline, people are much purer than they are now, in this utopian society it is frowned upon to be “individual” or “Kookie” and therefore those who are listed as mentally ill. They are then taken via space transport to “The institute” This moon sized space station is the home of many private and governmental projects, designed by the utopian society. Are they all that they seem? What is lying in the depths of the station?.

Its alternate reality, Each person checking into “The Institute” has decided to check into a ground breaking compound dealing with low-high level mental issues. This can range from the deceided “Individuality” to ADD and anger issues, to severe Schizophrenia. You all have low level disorders and are showing individuality which is unacceptable.

You will all begin in the mental ward a small section of the vast monolithic construction that houses the re-stabilisation project. What will you do…escape?....Try to find out what is at the heart of the station?....or try and destroy the ones who captured you?
Whatever happens you will need teamwork. Good luck to you.

Yes, the skills can be anything you like, then I will try and work bits into the story that use them.

OH! that reminds me. I am on GMT so it may be that you have to do RP sort of things and wait a little for me to work the system to see if you succeed. But that is only for high priority tasks.

Physical Description/Picture (Clothes wise you are all in (Leia on Hoth style) white body suits. : Jason stands at 6'4", with olive skin. His eyes are green and he has brown hair he keeps in a messy faux-hawk. His face is generally clean shaven, unless he is his "other" personality, in which case he always has a five o'clock shadow.
Background/Bio: Jason was a street performer, comedian and magician in secret, due to his world's strict individuality laws. In fact, the stress of hiding this drove Jason to Schizophrenia, and leading the double life made he develop a separate personality. His "second" person is called Janus, and knows everything Jason knows. Jason is crazy, slightly paranoid he is always being watched, but fun. Janus is calm, cool, collected and reserved. Jason acts, while Janus thinks.

What are you good at?: Jason is very charismatic, being a street performer and comedian. His hobbies include magic (sleight of hand tricks make him better with delicate tasks), juggling (wonderful hand eye coordination) and making sure he isn't being watched (good at sneaking around, and heightened senses)

I have drawn up a small map.

Legend
Green.=Main body (In here is the majority of the living quarters, shopping district etc. About the size of a town.
Yellow =Access corridors for travelling between zones.
Pink= Access denied.
Purple= Science, Psych and correction facility.
Blue= Security/Prison block
Red= Head control (access is denied. If you are caught here you are not leaving without broken bones)

I will Pm you a copy of the map if you wish but the basic pattern is a central orb of green with spider legs coming off, square blocks on the left side for Purple and Red, Circles on the other for Blue and Pink.

Basically Jason has it down. You can pick any thing like if i were doing IRL me it would be
1st skill: Guitar.
Hobby skills : Downhill longboarder, Roleplayer.

Then what you do is say why they are useful

Guitar (This means i have strong dexterous fingers, and musicality. Which would translate into the skill of being good with my hands)
DH Longboarder (this means i have a good centre of balance and so can be fairly sturdy when doing agile things)
Roleplayer (this means that I can create tales and lies that can bullshit me out of trouble)

I would also like to maybe cap this at 4-5 people as i think it is easier to give a good flowing story and not miss people out when the RP is small. This also means that when your character sheet is done please PM me and we can have a quick chat about what you want from the RP so I can make the story work around you guys.

Physical Description: She has long, neatly combed, ruby red hair, and blood red eyes. Her canines are sharpened into sharps fangs. Her body is slender and distinctly feminine, but her youth still shows.
Background/Bio: Exceptionally talented in acedemics as a child, but was always withdrawn. Throughout her early teens she began doing strange things to her body such as dying her irises, breaking her own bones, and cutting herself. It wasn't until she developed an obession over other people's blood that her parents realized there might be something majorly wrong.

What are you good at?: The best years of Darma's life have been spent emulating the abilities of supernatural creatures.
She's a natural with calculations and memorization and likes to show it off.
Regular acts of masochism has given her an incredible tolerance for pain.
She's always loved playing with knives and other sharp tools.
