It's okay to post without much to show, and instead answer questions/respond to comments (see: Blargh, Gorepete). Not only do we get to hear from you, but it also reminds us you're still around and haven't vanished again :p

I really like this game :) And high FPS here :)
I only missed the keyboard configration (or at least a option to change from WASD to <- up, down, ->.

##Update: April 21st.
--Added: new map with lifts and freakin' switches, yo.
--Changes: player grapples shouldn't snag, now.

--Notes: it's possible to get yourself caught inside doors if you're very smart or very dumb -- that might not be worth fool-proofing..

quick little update, because I've got to do some other stuff RIGHT NOW.

Whoo for being trapped, I got bored since I apparently wasn't stupid enough to figure it out, then I figured it out with my ol' noggin, Silly bounce back doors ;D I dislike how when you go through thee final part of the ship it sends you back through all enemies re-spawned :P

Anyways good game, Rock is still a jerk on that one platform..... Loops are fixed and not happening which is good..

One question:

another little update, few fixes here and there..

doors are working in the village (or should be - it's testing time!)
and lizardmen are replaced with more traditional 'placeholder' things. -- SO YOU'LL STOP ASKING HOW TO INTERACT WITH THEM WHEN IT'S NOT DONE. I guess that I did make that happen..

also, I changed the main girl to a not-preset-lady.
It's still a blank-ish slate - if you think you have better taste, prove it!

I'm gonna be working on some cool stuff in my character template that'll hopefully make faces more expressive, along with integrating some of playshapes' bits.
and I'm also working on a certain Streets of Rage girl for a very good friend of mine, who has donated a swag-load of booty to my mailbox. Please, take a bow!

easy, have the player's HP as a global rather than a regular variable and piggyback it to explosions, hitboxes, events and EVERYTHING.
..and have the healthbar just draw from the same number, rather emulate it by moving along-side.

that hitbox was a woopsie, the code was all there and it was working, but flash not only wont let two things have the same code reference, it won't tell you about it.

that's just intil I've got the next room and the boss room done. I'll try an minimize back-tracking with an exit door or just a skip scene.

there's nothing actually cheat-ey about it, it just saves you walking to wherever so I don't waste 5 mins every time I want to test something.
it's all in game.

Aha yeah I know thatttt. Well I like to save five minutes myself by pressing a little button. Stupid Tab key doesn't even find it!

bad news, I've got a cold and I'm not getting much done.
good news, I get a chance to get into this pile of games that's stacking up on my hard drive..

..this probably won't effect the update schedule too much, expect to see something this week.

well, if you try to trick the door, you'll get in - just like you wanted.
you just can't get out again.

been doing a little drawing whenever I'm not spitting up something gross might be time to drop in a little preview, huh?

got a new girl and some costumes all around the board.

zelda's design is probably getting too busy and some playshapes girls are slowly getting added.

Those are some awesome placeholders :D so i reached the end of the spaceship (spaceship?) and it teleported me right back to the mountain in front of the rock :P is there nothing up there yet? also when i reached the last room in the spaceship i noticed my blue bar wasnt regenerating(glitch?) other then that its just a bit laggy. :)

Nice designs, if not, very functional at least. I hope you plan to redo both the walking and running animations because they still look too funky.

I've got a version of it in the pack, I painted her into bloodrayne.

..there's actually A LOT of stuff I've made over the years that I'd forgotten all about.. (like 15 full flashes and a few tidbits -- totaling about half a gig with the .fla files)

so, it might as well get it's own thread.
Look out for that.

is it the style of it or my animation that's off?

.. the timing is only the tiniest bit off, I'd fix that if I was using a higher framerate. -- which I MUST do next time I make something..

the 2nd room of the ship isn't done, so it's redirecting to somewhere else.
I did slow the healing rate down quite a bit in a previous update, is it stopped completely?
