Diablo 3, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Bioshock 3, Thief 4

Three of those should be coming out this year. Diablo 3 is next month! *squee!*

There's too much hype for Diablo 3 in my opinion. It no longer have that evil/dark atmosphere of the previous games. Im not sure if it'll be as good as the second one.

It looks a lot like dungeon siege which was a game i grew up on. Well truth be told, it looks like dungeon siege two which is like dungeon siege but isn't as great; The only part they improved on was adding a teleportation spell for towns and i finally have a clue whats going on in the story.
You can't have as many players in multiplayer unless you edit a config file; The hud is way completely different compared to the original game which is a bad thing in this case; it's cartoony with it's graphics while the first had a more realist look.

Intersting fact. Preordering laws were changed because of the StarCarft 2 fuck up(s). Still not going to buy that over priced game.

Starcraft 2 was squashed out on my list of games by Dawn of War II. Granted I am horribly biased being one of the top ranked players in that game as well as company of heroes. However I digress.

From what i hear the campaign in StarCraft two isn't as big as StarCraft one and in StarCraft one you had three not one.

Yes, Starcraft.

I can wait for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, only because it'll simply add a few units to the game as well a different campaign. I find the appeal in that, certainly, but it isn't really what compels me to go and buy the game.
Starcraft I and it's expansion set, Brood War, will always hold a special place in my heart in comparison to the second game. I enjoyed it more. I can't fathom why, it just felt... better, I suppose.

I hate how the campaign(s) were shorter in Starcraft II('s games.) I also hate Blizzard for releasing three separate games for three different campaigns when Starcraft I had three campaigns in one game.
Squeezing the money right out of my pockets, unless I'm horribly incorrect and they were not planning on releasing Legacy of the Void and Heart of the Swarm as two separate games selling for 59.99 USD each.

I've never played any previous Diablo game (save a glance at Diablo 1, which I found repetitious and dull after having grown up on the Diablo-clone Nox), so as someone coming fresh to the series, it looks solid to me.

from what i've played of the fall out games, I like 3 better than the rest but still find it to follow Fallout world really well.

Xcom remake by IdiotK... sorry 2K is problebly the worst remake i've seen in awhile.

Three upcoming releases (albeit not that soon) that I'm eager for are:

1. Transformers - Fall of Cybertron. I really enjoyed War for Cybertron, and seeing that the legit Devastator (and not the Baystardized version from RotF) is in it really gives me some goosebumps of fandom.

2. Luigi's Mansion 2. Loved the first one, really looking forward to the second, nuff said.

3. Halo 4. Personally, I think the Halo franchise got a bad rep from all the pre-pubescent brats on XBL, but is really a good franchise overall. Reach's popularity with me was short-lived, but if 343's serious about taking good care of the gameplay and everything, then this new trilogy they're starting up could really bust some bunkers, y'know?

Gave up my Xbox in favor of a life, I had a bad habit of playing it all day and nothing getting done. Just couldn't put down the controller for some reason. I'm limiting myself to computers for this reason because even if I spend all day on one, I tend to get something done because most my class work is done on a computer. On Xbox, about 60% of the day was used by it and 100% of it was wasted in terms of rl productivity.

Back on topic, I'm defiantly "waiting" for the new mech warriors and I might get Total war: shogun 2 but I'm more waiting to get the money rather than waiting for the game
