Suka seemed to have watched the entire display masterfully. Her next question reflecting that precisely
"Hmm, that's rather unlike any kind of sword I've ever made. What kind of sword is it called exactly?"

Well.. He didn't expect her to ask that, letting out a light breath and looking at her gently.
The reason you didn't know, is because it's custom made...he pauses for a moment and gives her a soft grin
By me.He stops talking completely for a moment and looks up, the gentle rays of sunset beginning to off shoot small colors of purples and oranges, mixing with a yellow to form an array of beautiful
A real master of his craft used to be an old friend of mine... His hands move outward, pushing the visual picture along as he goes, remembering the past with a big smile He taught me the ways of the forge, and of the sword... he trails off laughing as he remembers a moment and looking at Suka he reluctantly shared the moment. His face when I crafted that sword..He didn't even have the words to describe his happiness when I found that sword in the metal.
In his best impression, he tries to repeat the words the old blacksmith did say. Ah laddie...ye are so clever, he says in the foreign irish accent, Ye found yer extension..the extension of yeself..stopping and composing himself he looks at Suka. Bowing apologetically.
I am sorry...I didn't mean to get so lost in my memories.. he laughs softly and gives her a warm smile, finishing he put's in.
The blade's name.. Hayai kaze or Swift Wind.

"A red oni you say? Does she drink as much as the fabled oni kings, while fighting with her iron kanabō ?" He laughed making Oni like sounds and gestures as she begun to tune her instrument one string at a time. "However you caught my attention with the story of the humans and spirits? I take it then we are not the first to enter this world?" he said this trying to confirm his suspicions.

He looked at her appreciatively, she was a muse alright, a source for inspiration, her talent calling out to his inner artist. Chiyoko waited, listening intently for her to break into song once more, to enlighten him to ages past, of deeds done, and perhaps to even guide his next course of action.

Nema grins at Chiyoko's antics. "Well, she carries around a really big hammer. Riko is nothing compared to Suka on a drunken rampage." Satisfied with the tuning of her tool, Nema nods at Chiyoko and says. "Indeed." She then begins to strum an exciting melody. "Stories of humans from ancient verse. Through the same portal did they traverse. They proved their worth through power and wit. And the spirits did bless them as they saw be fit. The Guider, the Guider, the first yearning soul. She followed the man back to his own home. Together their powers became a great boon. The rise of the guild thus followed quite soon." Nema smiles as she puts down her insturment and continue speaking normally. "Ah, to be the very first to travel to and entirely new realm. It must have been the adventure of a lifetime." Nema's eyes sparkle as she delights in her own whimsies.

Suka swing him hammer to the front of her. It seem about ready to collide with Shiro's tiny body but comes just short, barely poking his chest with the tip. "You're a sword smith?" Suka asks with a mixture of praise and disbelief. "From the sounds of things, the technique from your home and here are quite differnt indeed. You should show me your method sometime."

"Well, she carries around a really big hammer. Riko is nothing compared to Suka on a drunken rampage.", she told him with a wink. It was a scary aspect to say the least, his mind running wild with images of a giant spirit with a hammer, mashing human adventurers left and right in a drunken rage. Chiyoko would be certain to not cross paths with any woman carrying a giant hammer, lest he say something to offend her and be wiped clean of the world he knew.

As if reading his thoughts she confirmed it with a simple, "Indeed", before beginning to bring simple strings into notes. From these notes flowed chords, and the chords harmonies, before coming together into stories older than he.

The rise of the guild thus followed quite soon."

The song rang out across the plaza, coming back to his ears with beautiful echoes. She continued to strum a while longer, before slowly fading out the instrument. She opened her eyes once more, a sparkle in her eye.

"Ah, to be the very first to travel to and entirely new realm. It must have been the adventure of a lifetime.", her face disappearing into thoughts of adventure beyond her zone.

He stood in thought, the song rung true enough, though more questions did it give than answers. Chiyoko looked up into the girls sparkling eyes, excitement and adventure contained in her eye. "If you could come through the portal we did, I would show you my home. Though I find it more pleasurable here." he said with a smile. "Though I know you would love to travel the world, to hear stories, converse with people, and to enjoy a fine cup of tea amidst the snow". He stopped fantasizing about the adventures he would take her on, intent on learning more about the guider of which she sung, and the process in which the guild was born.

"Who was the guider, and from him how was the guild born? How is it that spirits and humans bond, is it as you hinted before, through love?" he asked her with genuine interest.

(AP 75, Having an amazing time with Suka.)
Swinging her hammer it seems like it's just about to collide with his compact frame before it comes to a stop, the tip of the hammer poking against his chest.
"You're a sword smith?" She seemed to be in disbelief but with a hint of praise,
"From the sounds of things, the technique from your home and here are quite different indeed. You should show me your method sometime."

Smiling he gives her a wink. Oh yes, I am. he says, not wanting to tell her why he chose to go into it. The reclusive nature of the forge gave him the perfect opportunity to avoid people. Bowing low, he gives her another smile. It would be my honor and pleasure to show you sometime. He gives her a sincere smile as he takes the pebble from earlier back out of his pocket and gives it a gentle toss into the air, then catching it and sending it further into the air, plucking the stone from the air this time before replacing it back into his pocket. Not asking for the magic he saw earlier but reminding himself of the powers of this world. Simple and unique.

Gesturing to the hammer poking him, Did you make this? he inquires, intrigue shown on his face, while praise was evident in his tone.

Nema flutters her wings lightly as she lifts herself up and finds a place to sit on a nearby bench. "A sage once explained to me, that reality for humans is based on perception; spirits do not have this luxury. It is physically impossible for a spirit to exist in someplace she does not understand. So I guess when a spirit and a man are close enough to deeply trust each other, she can learn how to perceive things through his own eyes. I'm sure you have noticed the rarity of males here in the spirit kingdom. This is because their purpose is quite unique. Male spirits are more closely related to nature. They are not normally found within their corporeal forms. A spirit's understanding of the world is passed down by the father. In this way he serves as a... tether to reality, if you will. I suppose the pupose of your human males in the bonding relationship is mostly the same."

Suka lowers her giant hammer to the ground and it shakes the floor with a resounding thud. Jumping down from her makeshift throne, she stands upon the hammer's handle, amazingly the weight of her body not even tilting the weapon as it rests upon the heavy flat head. "I did. It is a crude instrument to be certain, but it has character. Besides, I carry this around simply for utility. I make many other tools suited to the art of killing.

(AP 75, Continuing to chat with Suka in the Canyon) Suka jumped down her from the large pile of rubble she was sitting seemingly comfortably on, sending her hammer down with a loud thud, shaking the ground slightly. She stood on top of the hammer easily, the pure balance keeping the hammer from leaning as she speaks
"I did. It is a crude instrument to be certain, but it has character. Besides, I carry this around simply for utility. I make many other tools suited to the art of killing."

He smiles and nods not to be rude before bowing once more, keeping the bow longer to wince slightly at her words as he digests them and mouths "art of killing?" coming back up from the bow with a gentle smile on his face. How can anyone consider killing an art? He wondered to himself keeping the smile genuine.
Oh? Maybe I can see them sometime. He says, being as polite as he can. Before asking,
Can you now teach me how you shrank the boulders, and made the pebbles grow?
He smiles with more enthusiasm, trying to change the subject away from the killing.

[95/100 - Interacting with Nema at the Village]

She fluttered her way across the plaza towards the nearest bench, before lightly sitting down legs crossed. She begun her tale once more.

It was a lot of information to take in, this is the most sincere any of the spirits have been about the world, about their being, about their very essence. He walked across the plaza, to take a seat beside her, leaving plenty of room between the two. Leaning forward he placed one hand in the shape of a fist, while his second hand wrapped around it.

"A sage huh? I guess that is the inspiration behind the muse I have come to like. I guess a humans experience is nothing but perception, no matter how close to the world we are in understanding, it will be beyond our reach forever.

Yet, to not being able to exist without understanding the world, sounds much the same curse. I guess the bonding is nothing more than the complimentary pairing of abilities, the ability to understand the world around, while having the ability to perceive and grasp onto it. I can understand the role of the father in that it helps tie down the reality, for you spirits, and that a human's soul could do much the same.

The question is would you? I find it terrifying that the world you've come to known would suddenly be changed, and that there would be no coming back. Is it worth the bonding to a human? No wonder it demands trust beyond a shred of doubt, to be lost in the world with no understanding would be maddening.

Suka grins as she picks up an ordinary pebble off the ground. "There was never any growing or shrinking, silly." She says with an amused grin. "What you saw was an illusion, they were ordinary little rocks the entire time." She tucks the tiny round object into her pocket, beside who knows what else. Stepping down and then lifting up her heavy hammer, she looks off towards the horizon. "Anyways, I've got to get going. I'll see you around, little smith." She slides the large hammer into a backpack way to small to concievabley hold the thing before running and leaping away. Nema chuckles lightheartedly. "You worry too much. If you spend all you time worrying about the unknown then how will you ever enjoy life? It's best to just march with one foot in front of the other and face it head on." Nema stands up on the bench and takes a step ahead in gesture with her words as she hold her arms up high in an expression of openness.

He laughed at her walking, "I worry too much? Maybe that is why my hair is of silver and white, since the day I was born I worried too much." He chuckles a bit. However it was terrifying, to suddenly lose your place is the cosmos, with your soul as the gamble. You don't get to his age without having done some worrying, and weighing all the outcomes.

She stood there with her arms opened, standing with her back to the sun. He stood up and approached her, leaning down to her, before embracing her in his arms. "Maybe you worry not enough?" he whispers.

Nema blushes at Chiyoko's suddenly intimate behavior before abruptly pushing him away, causing him to fall off of the bench. "Ah! Uh, whoops sorry... I've got to go. Um, the wind is calling and stuff." Turning away from Chiyoko, she flaps her wing powerfully enough to lift her several feet off the ground, only to be accosted by a sudden gust of wind and get blown in the other direction. Twirling and flipping she quickly adjusts to the new course before gliding away. (+5 relationship points with Nema. *Nema and Chiyoko are now friends* +1 charisma)

Suka grinned at Shiro, picking up a pebble from the ground, There was never any growing or shrinking, silly. She says obviously amused with a grin. "What you saw was an illusion, they were ordinary little rocks the entire time." Suka then tucked the pebble into a pocket, along with many strange things possibly. Stepping down and off her hammer, she lifts it up easily again to the same pose as earlier before looking at the horizon. "Anyways, I've got to get going. I'll see you around, little smith." She finishes, sticking her large hammer into a backpack that could no way physically hide or even really conceal the big thing. Leaping up and away, running before he could even properly say goodbye's or before she could see his gawking face at her strange backpack.

He traces the pebble in his pocket, feeling the hard interesting contours of the rock. Flicking it deftly in the air in front of him he catches it with little effort and smiles,
Another souvenir. He says to himself,
then quickly he looks around before dashing to the village. Wanting to get some last minute training for his legs in, even as the sun sets deeper into the sky settles in, thinking it would help his agility more so if he had to be more alert and was practicing partly in the dimming sun.

The scenery around him and the sky above him were beautiful. As Shiro ran, he took in everything with a smile appreciating the simplicity of it. The deep orange hue's now being replaced by darkening skies, the forest starting to buzz with the familiar sounds of animals and different bugs or insects. Stars peeking every so often in the sky now, He hope's he won't be to late for a little training.

He held her close to his chest, her heartbeat reverberating up the length of his arms, in tune with the fast beat of his own heart. It was an awkward hug for both of them, for her because of its suddenness, for him because he mistook her motions as an invitation. She blushed deeply, her cheeks as rosy as the jungle's flowers. She looked up at him, before pushing him with a strength Chiyoko thought impossible for her frame, causing him to fall back onto the bench, before flipping over and landing on his head off the bench.

"Ah! Uh, whoops sorry... I've got to go. Um, the wind is calling and stuff.", she said in haste. She gave a running start, before beginning to flap her enormous bat wings, taking to the sky like she had many times, with some slight difficulty in her demeanor. He fucked up bad this time, sighing from his malingered pose on the ground, limbs strewn across the paved cobblestone. He looked up watching her drift off, her momentum correctly flowing through her this time.

Picking himself off the ground, Chiyoko made his way to the jobs postings, which was the intent of this whole adventure, trying to figure out what kind of odd jobs there were, and to see what he could get accomplished.

[90/100 Heading to the Lakes]

Looking at the board, the only real job that interested him was writing scrolls with the monks. He had never been in the presence of monks before, nor had he gone to the lake yet. However with a background in artistry, and all that dealt with it, he figured it was the only job he was best suited for of the selection he was presented with. Strengthening his resolve to continue his journey, he headed out along the path, passing below the entrance way of the city in the direction of the lake.

Chiyoko speaks with an associate monk who gives him directions to the temple. After a general greeting, he is guided to a large zen garden where peace and tranquility abounds. Chiyoko is given intructions on what to scribe and works dilegently. The monks are impressed with his work and send him back to the village with high regards. There the associate hands him 160$$ for a job well done.

He spent the majority of the time transcribing the chants and prayers of the monk, surrounded on all sides by a zen garden. He knelled on one of the grass islands in the rock garden, as the monks moved around him with wooden rakes, changing the shapes of the garden slowly as they chanted. He was instructed by one of the elder monks for hours, slowly drawing calligraphic symbols that were beyond his comprehension, the ancient flows of languages not his own.

Before long he was karmactically centered, and they sent him on his way, content with the job he had done.

He was back in the city square, hand full of soul shells. He looked at one in his hand, the sheen of the shell glistening from blue to deep purple in the sunlight. He did not know why he worked for a pocket full of shells, but he might as well figure out what they were worth. Heading towards what he assumed would be the market.

The smells and sounds assaulted his senses, the market place being alive and bustling with activity, spirits running to and fro collecting the materials needed for the day. Walking up and down the isles, he came across a vendor selling the various crafting materials he was accustomed to through-out the years as an artisan. However there was one material that caught his eye. Asking the vendor if it was ok to pick it up, Chiyoko rolled a lump of tamahagane between the palms of his hands, the quality and weight behind it was very good. It was very much every bit of the material he used in his no-dachi, strapped to his back, but of a better quality. Thinking back to the wind chimes he now understand the secret to their crafting, they were using the best of base materials. He did not know if 100$$ was a lot of currency in these parts, but for a few hours of work to receive such a price of material was well worth it. Departing with his money, Chiyoko wrapped the materials in a silken pouch, before heading back out the village.

He had materials once more, the next step would be to clear his head and think of what designs he would pull out of the metal. Heading towards the hot springs with the intention of clearing his mind, Chiyoko struck out upon the path once more.

Chiyoko head over to the hot springs only to hear the familiar sigh of Nema as she relaxes in the pools. Her large ears twitch as she listens to Chiyoko's approach, however her small body is already neck deep in the pools so there is nothing for her to conceal. "Oh hi Chiyoko." She comments casually. Pausing for a moment as she gently strokes her fur beneath the warm soothing waters she admits, "It's... nice to see you."
