Two questions. Does that counter reset every time he uploads an update, and does visiting the page and loading the SWF count as a download?

To both: To lazy to test it honestly.

it's almost eleven pm here. Regardless though. that counter I never really saw until I turned off "flash and pictures" or whatever in settings so it doesn't load the flash regardless on my thing I always have to download it. I can't really tell you what the counter does because of two reasons.

One, I don't know how it works honestly. Two I have no way to keep track of if someone randomly comes in and downloads it right when I open the page so it looks like It counts just looking at the page too. If you get my meaning.

Sorry, I kinda want to know too XP

It's all good. This is more a general question, which Thae, Renara, or Blargh might be able to tell us the answer to. It's sort of a niggling question, so I'm not very worried about it.

Indeed. If we don't get our answer here though I will go bug Thae to death. :D

Side note: I don't think it resets when they update so it's all the downloads from previous updates, because I just looked at Sakyu and it says it has over 2000 downloads, and Gore goes crazy and updates frequently so I would imagine it doesn't reset. Having said that I still don't know about page views/it auto caching when it downloads to play on the site I would assume otherwise but you never know.

By the way Blargh, I hope your life is going good~ *thumbs up*

Hi there.
I know there are a lot of ideas and wishes for this game and so i also have some. I´ll do it by myself if i could but i´m too stupid for this work.
Wish: Some BDSM Outfit like here:
Image
http://legendofkrystal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=841&p=19266&hilit=BDSM#p19266
or as game here:
http://legendofkrystal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=909&hilit=BDSM&start=20#p19332
I like this look, maybe some others too. As some bonus for this costume in Mario is missing there will be maybe dominant usage of monsters.
Second is an idea. Is it very difficult to make an Ocotpus or kraken for underwater tentacle rape?
Lets see whats next time inside :D
You make an great work, thanks a lot to all people which made this game come real.

Has anyone suggested the option to turn off voices or possibly change them from Peach?

Uploading a new .swf resets the number of views.
If it didn't, Sakyu, the Splatformer, and this game would have something more like over one million.
I've actually seen both this and Sakyu at stuff like 1 or 10 views after an update.

Yeah but the picture I took clearly says downloads. Is there no difference?

Well, the embedded .swf counts views, and certain uploaded files count downloads.
Uploading a new file would reset the downloads counter in the same way, because the new file would not have been downloaded until it ... was ... downloaded.

Yes I totally understand that, I think all the creators and programmer's thus far have a ridiculous fan base xD

Only just getting around to talking instead of lurking in the shadows...

I've been following this for longer than I remember (and I have a good memory) And I will admit you have done such a good job, Blargh, that you've kept me coming back after each and every update...

However I did notice earlier qualms from others about the 'hats' on the Raccoon and Frog costumes and kinda agree with some of them. While I do believe it would simplify things hair-wise it's just not aesthetically pleasing. Being a flash dumbass myself however I have no possible compromise in mind.

Speaking of the Frog though the "Char to all" and "Outfit to all" buttons do not change the set char/outfit layout for the Frog power but they do affect the other five... Just thought I'd point that out to you!

And with that I, Dalaketx, return to the shadows...
Who says I have to do anything? It sure as hell ain't me!

I do what I want where i want when I want...

Unless She disagrees...

Just remember... I'll be around... Watching...

So, quick update on what's happening right now. I'm attempting to make a new CS4 version right now, and I'm planning on going to CS4 for future development. I'm probably going to spend a lot of time fixing whatever breaks, but I can't deal with 5 minutes to copy a blooper and another 5 minutes to paste in a new one anymore (and I have a pretty powerful system). Re-installing CS5 didn't fix things, and I don't trust CS5.5 to do any better, so I'll try CS4. That, and LuftMallow's on CS4, and anyone on CS5 can still read the CS4 version.

I don't think anyone's made a Palutena model, so it probably won't happen until it's made, sorry.

Crazymaniscrazy Wrote:I have no idea what happened. It was screwy for days. Then today, having changed nothing nor downloaded a new copy or anything, it miraculously started working. I can safely say awesome update ^_^

Well, I'm glad it worked out...somehow. ^_^

Thee Pie Man Wrote:I suppose so lol. I am not sure if I have said it but good job with thee bloopers so far, although it's a bit hard to watch the scene when the camera doesn't center on you and the blooper, oh and when I was using the frog suit I was able to "phase" through blocks lol. :o

Congrats on over 14k downloads.

So much that I need to catch up on. Yumskerdoodle's been pushing for that scene focus, and I figured out the issue with the phasing for next update. I need a vacation...so that I'll have more time to work on MiM. >_>

Allsop2604 Wrote:I'm not a huge fan of the Raccoon and Frog outfits hats. I find them awkward and notice them standing out too much. Maybe large emblems around the characters necks depicting the suit would be a better alternative? To clarify, I mean necklaces with ether a frog or raccoon symbol. Obviously it would have to be big enough to make out so I'm not sure exactly how it would look. Cause I'm just assuming incorporating something else, lets say just the ears for the Raccoon, creates too many issues with the variety of hair in your game. Because, for me, that would be the best alternative. :D

I'll set them back to LuftMallow's original, until something can be worked out. I should probably go back to resizing heads so that they all have similar dimensions at least, since all the other body parts are exactly the same across all characters.

Thecheesekiller Wrote:I would like to report that there is a major bug where the screen for 'Story Play' Zooms in and out repeadately so it is near impossible to click any of the options or to exit the game. I would like to raise that and if possible, have it fixed for the next update just incase it happens to anyone else.

Okay, when you get to the initial character select (after clicking Start Game but before starting the game) can you go into the options screen and click the Zoom in and Zoom out buttons? See if that helps for now. Are you able to make a save file? That'll be my first point of investigation.

Thee Pie Man Wrote:*covet's his older versions of mario is missing with the raccoon suit having a complete hood and with the gallery working completely and with a bunch of stuff that didn't make me want to be like "Oh..I see what you did thar" 2 weeks after figuring out that it's just how the game was now lol

I should probably have gotten better at saying no a long time ago. <_< A lot of the stuff, though, has been good for the game, even if it takes away time developing new areas, new sex scenes, and new plot.

Zeus Kabob Wrote:14k downloads?!?! That's a damn ton!

o_O Sorry, Ren, for the bandwidth usage.

Zeus Kabob Wrote:Geezum. I'm only somewhat surprised, as the game's a damn good one.

Two questions. Does that counter reset every time he uploads an update, and does visiting the page and loading the SWF count as a download?

Although Lucky777 answered your questions already, yes, the counter does reset every time I upload a new SWF (including uploading fixed SWF's that wipe out the previous counter). There's usually around 70-80 hits by the time I've finished posting about the new update (if I reload the page after the upload, there's usually around 10?). I'm pretty sure a lot of those early ones are bots, though. At least I hope they are. o_o

kekeke111 Wrote:Has anyone suggested the option to turn off voices or possibly change them from Peach?

Hmm, you can only turn off voices by turning off all sounds (which is kind of funky, so I can't just separate music, effects, and voice). Many have suggested voice changes, but the way that Flash does sound it's unlikely. Best I can do for now would be to get more sounds so that there's a better variety. And that's in the to do list. >_>

1. Sounds good, :D

2. Ah I see, that is good, it was awhile before I posted anything because of that thing I thought was a "glitch" but really was a changed game feature as we have discussed x3. As far as the phasing goes was it trying to "swim" through the default layer that the water was? Which when you put the blocks there it didn't see those as obstacles persay but more like back ground's for the swimming that you can do for the froggie suit? Just curious I was trying to think of all the possible reasons, for awhile I thought it was trying to do the swim and going up the stair animation which caused the phasing but it can happen further up so I was confused.

3. I approve. I don't know, it seemed almost childish (no offense intended) of how it was set, seemed like the top of one of those "animal" bibs that make the kid think he or she is an animal so they eat the food like the animal  ...I guess that works for goomba cock too........XD

4. I agree with both those. Saying no to certain things would have been nice but a lot of features have made the game even more popular if not better.

5. I think that means there's more traffic on the forum making it a good thing right?

6. Yeah, but not on this site! ;D That's what makes it epic..

To be honest? Been following the game since it's original inception and to be fair, I can't believe how far it has evolved from it's simple origins to a progressivly explansive world... I'd put up suggestions but it'd have to wait.

Just so everyone is aware, Blargh can put characters into the game. You or someone else has to make them first because he's busy with the actual programming of the game and creating the thing the characters would be apart of.

I am not trying to discourage anyone but it's been suggested that a lot of characters be added. If you can create them and submit them in a .png format I am sure Blargh would be happy to add whatever character.

(Note: I do not work for Blargh, nor do I represent his thoughts on any matters so I could be spewing utter bullshit. But for the record I thought that was how it worked XP)

The move to CS4 will be greatly appreciated, as I too hate waiting minutes to just copy something over.

On the subject of adding new characters, there's going to be a limit to what can be added to the base game before it becomes a bloated mess.I think the reason many people request a character than make it themselves is that the time it takes to make sure everything is to the liking of the community here. Add onto it that Blargh has to download the character file, add every part to the .FLA piece by piece, and make sure everything is working as it should. That's why there's weeks between updates.

Super Deepthroat's system of having a few default selections and a setup allowing custom content provided by the user works well. If a user had to choose a outfit/character file combo to add, then the user relies only on themselves to make everything work. Granted, reprogramming everything to work with this idea would be a pain. It might even not save time to actually add new areas and sex scenes. I'm just throwing ideas out here.
