Should be, Nap, though I'll have to devise a means by which to introduce your character, so things can keep running smoothly. Despite how everyone thus far has just gotten tossed into the colony by way of an enemy badass's designs, there's no rule saying that everyone gets in that same way. :P

The way I have everyone thus far getting stranded in the colony is actually required for the setting and "plot template" I have going, though the meat and bones of the story is pretty much based on what each player does.

PS: If the reader of this message just saw the IC thread, I know that I said that was my last post for the night in there, but this didn't take long to type, and I had enough time to do so before bed. Okay, goodnight for real, now :P

lol yeah, i won't push ya

i was gonna make a fledgling mechanic who cant tie her own shoes (built a little device into her boots to do that for her) but is good at electronic warfare and making gizmos to do every day tasks she's too lazy to do. idk maybe she can just be an army soldier who was stationed on the colony by chance?

Works for me, Nap. With everyone else here being with the Platinum Stilettos, a little variety won't hurt...besides, I've got a puzzle in the works that will make an electronically-skilled Mechanic invaluable. :P

puzzles aint my forte, but ill try my best :P will cook up a bio and edit it in here in a little bit

and ere we go, but its kinda long

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

-Name: Danika Whirling-Heavens

-Race: Harpy – While “Harpy” isn't their true name, one can draw as many parallels between Harpies and humans, much like with a Neko. While in essence identical to humans in nearly all respects, Harpies (obviously) sport two large, flexible wings many feet in length from their shoulder blades capable of flight, and two tapered plumes of feathers jutting out backwards from behind their ears. This natural gift comes at the cost of a very lean, sleek physique and lighter skeletal structure to accommodate flight, but also gives Harpies excellent mobility in the air. Their eyes and bodies have also naturally adapted to accommodate their airborne lifestyle; their irises are semi-luminescent (usually gold, blue, green or some other vibrant color) and extremely powerful to maximize the amount of light flowing into their pupils, their lungs are strong to keep oxygen flowing. Most importantly, their brains can process a wide variety of information and stimuli extremely quickly. Because of this intellect and flexibility, they are commonly valued as fighter pilots, technicians, scouts or more “unsavory” professions.

-Age: 19
-Appearance: Danika stands at about 5'4”, and is most immediately characterized by the unusually vibrant livery of her feathers' plumage: a fervid red on her long, flexible wings, the tapered plumes on her head and her hair, a rebellious, neck-length cut that seems to be consistently disheveled, the strands draping over her face constantly. Her keen but curious looking eyes are the usual luminescent gold color framed by her red eyebrows, and her physique is – considering her height – duly flimsy, just barely passable on the military training course with its mild, trained muscle tone and healthily-tanned skin unblemished by much hard labor. Like most women of her species, her chest is small, but perky. Her facial features seem somewhat warm, girlish and naïve, with prominent cheeks, a small nose and the general mildly hawkish look distinct in her species.
-Class: Mechanic
-Nano-Tech Skill: One for All

<Stats>
-HP: 200
-EN: 115
-Might: 2
-Vision: 10
-Stamina: 3
-Appeal: 3
-Intelligence: 11
-Mobility: 4
-Luck: 5

<Bio>
Danika has idolized adventure and stimulation since she was of a young age, always feeling animosity towards the tight-knit community of her aerie –- on a decidedly isolated colony planet in a distant solar system –- which had rarely promoted risk-taking or laziness on account of the predators stalking the skies and the surface which would pick off any unsuspecting colonist, an issue exacerbated only by the supply company being tardy with its shipments. Thus Danika was commonly ostracized for her refusal to chip in on her assigned duties and instead embark on some ill-fated journey that often damaged some critical piece of equipment in the process. In reparation, she would usually have to fix the object of her blundering (along with two other broken devices as punishment), inadvertently developing her love for technology.

Her wild side cooled down with age and experience – after all, she had nearly gotten herself killed repeatedly – and she resigned into being a somewhat placid person as the atmosphere of the colony seemed to die down and she had little to do but tinker and maintain the local water purifier and power generator.
Yet it had only taken her under a minute to decide to hijack a ship and warp to the nearest military recruitment station in a breathless two-day voyage once she learned of its existence. They welcomed her with open arms on account of her technical skill and she soon was living her dream of exploring the wide open universe as a mechanic for the RTGS military. Although she has developed a sort of notoriety for continuously requesting transfers to different postings seemingly on a whim.

@ Napsii: Profile approved, though I should point out that certain special abilities, such as flight, will have a limit to their use.

In the case of the ability being natural, you will have 80 "SP" that represent the ability's physical exertion. SP will decrease every turn you use the ability, at a rate appropriate to how you're using it; it's generally 4 SP per turn of casual, non-combat use, and 8 SP per turn of more strenuous use, or using it while under a Stamina or Mobility de-buff. So if you, hypothetically, spent 2 turns gliding about for travel, then swooped into a diving melee attack on the 3rd turn, that's 4 + 4 + 8, which results in you spending 16 SP over those three turns, and having 64 SP remaining. You regain 2 SP for each turn spent without using said ability, and every point you get added onto Stamina will increase its capacity by 4 (including the points you put into it at the start, so you actually have a starting SP cap of 92). There's another use for SP that we'll get to in due time, but it involves spoilers for now, so my lips are sealed. :P

As for your intro, I'm working on it; there's a certain action I have set up for Vigs, which ties into it. Once I get that action rolling, your intro will simply work its way in. I'll PM you once you can start posting. :)

Not my fault, I'm stuck in a wall... Speaking of which, I think I might be active enough to participate again... Can I just yank my arm out? Or could the GM help?
