So while i like the farland (and did ask for it) system of perks I,also, think it can be improved a bit.

So just in theory do you guys think having the ability to pick a old perk would add anything?

What do you mean by "Pick an old perk"? Like when you level up, you can pick a perk that you passed over during the last level up?
Also, was I supposed to just post that Kazuma got outside with the girls, or was there further GM activity required for that? I got confused somewhere, I don't know where...

Yep, what i'm think for a system is you can forgo ever pick your 2 current possible perks for one from a earlier level.
This is a way to punish the player for not picking a current perk.
As for taria's part, all that would be required is to confirm that she gave that user the perk some time in the past if he picks it. Maybe requiring a link to the page just so she doesn't have to muttle though old pages or has to add extra content to the character sheets.

So, ideally, this system could only be used once every other level. Because the way I'm understanding this is when you hit level 2, Taria gives you two perks to choose from. At level 3, instead of picking one of the level 3 perks, you pick the other level 2 perk, forever shutting out the level 3 perks. At level 4, the cycle would begin anew.

It works out that way but think about it this way.

Your level 5 going to 6 (we start at 0. just accept it.)
this means there are 5 perks you passed up. Any of those perks your allowed to pick or your current level perks.
great you picked a old one and now your moving to level 7, you now have 4 perks to pick or your current level perks.
next level same thing but to 3, new level same but 2, etc.

I mean it just works out to be every other level if your start using this on level two.
The idea is users will rarely use this (less than 50% is rarely!... sorta) but still have the possibility.

Yeah, I get it. I just was using an overly simplistic example. I mean, I would hope that no one would use it every other level like that. I think I could dig a system like that. Up to Tary if she wants to implement it though.

I don't really like that idea, because I usually pick perks that are situation specific or that conflic with one another. Some of the generic ones come up more than once on different player sheets, but making the same one pop up again for the same person seems kind of lazy to me, since that person already rejected it once before.

It's not that i reject you Taria, it's just that i'm not allowed to double date you and Hades.
If you understand the above line then you might want to get your head check.

The problem i have is sometimes their are 2 perks i want, I don't reject one, but, accept the one that i think will give me the most benefit.
