Wow! I'm so glad you're back!

I really love what you have done with the big winged guy in the Metro Lounge. I especially like that she can get it several times and some more, when she actually beats the boss.

The ingoing angle is a little off in some of the scenes, but I'm sure that is work in progress. Can you make her belly bulge when that huge thing is going in?

Anyways I kept looking for Ridley for no reason, I think I killed everything in there without letting them get me and always taunted with my ass first just to see how fast everything was going. I personally think everything is a bit more fluent then before (has the older version of the game from his lurker days (*_*) )

I put sense in capitals, but it was also the last place I looked.

I was literally on the point of posting and saying "Where is Ridley D :" but ... You gotta scroll the screen right, which I hardly ever do, because I'm too preoccupied with going straight down to awesome space-pirates.
In my defence, I thought he'd be in the MAIN part of the game since he's titled "boss", but still.

Right now, the space pirates for example go down more quickly than the small ones because you can't hit the latter properly.

Strangely enough, shooting straight forward works perfectly on the small guys, just as it would on the pirates and hydralisks. It's not actually necessary to angle the shots down.

For a while I was confused about that too, but once you notice THAT, it's basically GG.

Not that I ever let 'em get all the way fried, of course, but for "gameplay skill lol" purposes I often blast 'em down to just a tiny remaining portion of health before submitting.

##Update: March 8th.
--Added: SOUNDS. Player voice & lip-sync + noise added to hydra, muta and ridley scenes. Ridley has received some more code, too.

--Notes: Sounds for the levi, space pirates, ridley and metroids will go in whenever I can source some material.


randomizers for all sound-sets are now going, enjoy the noise.
I've made room in the structure to hold more than one player voice at a time, for about 200-300k extra file-load, so there's room for that to grow.
I'm still not happy with my old "suck" noises, so I'll swap them out for the newest set I've found. ..eventually. I say that quite often, huh?

Ridley got s'more code, too.
all his attacks, pathing and grapples are working, but he's still missing his regular player grab and finisher. (it'll do for now)


also, I'm looking for samples of space priate, metroid and ridley audio, it'll probably take ages because I can't just rip it from a game.. like everything else.

oh, and the HUD. I want to get rid of these old placeholders sometime soon. (maybe some art next update)

Well, I don't mind dodging but my main complaint would be that the ranged attack does not enough damage. The regular small vermin-like enemies are rather hard to beat and I feel you are raped by them way too often. I don't mind a challenge, but maybe the larger enemies should be harder to beat Right now, the space pirates for example go down more quickly than the small ones because you can't hit the latter properly.

Considering the enemies: Well, I do like people. It's just that I prefer my H-Game enemies have four legs But I'll certainly check on every new enemy you throw in ^^

combat isn't where I want it to be, but power attacks/power shots should fix what you're talking about.
and the only quadruped (think that's right..) that I've got plans for is digfree's zergling. (is he still around?)
..unless there's something that I missed since I've been off, that is..

...Well, if you shock Ridley right after he grabs you, his health goes UP instead of down. Seems like it actually resets to full after a grab, but the reset is invisible.

Just a suggestion for waaaaaay later when 80% of the stuff will be completed:

Add a save/load custumized character button so we don't have to remake our characters completely.
I know that making our own character doesn't even take 2mins but it's something that would be very appreciated.

Besides that, the game keeps on getting better and better!

I'm not too happy with most of her markings, but it's a start - and as always, useful criticisms are welcome.

cleanups and after animations, I can and probably will do for event/cut scenes, but for combat scenes, probably not. (Unless you guys really, really want them. and even then, not for a while. I've got the game-part to get done some time..)
