"It was also painful... intensely so." Cassie shifted so she was closer to the mouse man grinning at Duo as she moved closer to her new toy. "I'm sure it also has more than just physical side effects. but I'm not going into those right now." "Have you been exploring around here much?"

"nah ive been resting, but i would like to take notes of how your mutations are affecting you" Duo said "this place is interesting enough may as well study it"

Cassie shook her head. "Well my behaviour is less... controlled. And I've grown found of tormenting mice. As for studying this world... aren't we meant to be reaching the land of the gods before other pursuits?"

Duo shrugs "well maybe studying this world will help us with that goal" he then slowly reaches with his right hand to try to pet her head to see how her fur feels

Her fur is soft to the touch similar to a cats. "Hey stop petting me!" Cassie moves away from him her eyes giving him that look of-who give you permission to so much as touch me- look cats give when you've disturbed them.

"If we're fair I think I'm the cat person." She stared at him annoyed before shaking her head. "And it's fine, just don't pet me. I'm not an animal. as for your curiosity you could of just asked."

Cassie tutted at how easily Duo was to scare away before grinning at the mouse having no one to hide behind anymore. With grace she began to steps around him each step being slow and calculated the claws on her hind paws extended to tap along the floor as emphasis for her steps, clearly she wanted the mouse to hear her move just so he was more nervous, so he could dread the moments in between her steps. She'd keep this up for a while, sniffing the air as if she was drinking in her fear.

Looking around, Heidi went straight toward Minerva's home, hoping to find her there

Heidi walked in Minerva's humble abode freely, looking for Minerva herself. Instead, she was greeted by a frail but nevertheless bubbly Elsa. "Mistress Heidi~" She smiled, barking enthusiastically, "How are you~? Come to see Elsa? Lets play, lets play~! A-alright, uhmmm... Lets play tag, ok? I'll be it, so you get a head start!"

The mouse man trying to hide behind Duo gave up as his cover obviously wasn't too inclined to help him out and squeeked, before running off to the furthest corner and trying to hide there; failing miserably. "D-don't get closer; don't kill me! I've come here, h-havent i...?" he panicked at Cassie

Heidi smiled and patted Elsa on the head. "I'm n-not here to p-play today, Elsa. I'm l-looking for M-Minerva. Has she c-come home?" she asked

Elsa pouted slightly, but nevertheless had her tail wagging joyfully as Heidi pat her. "N-no! Elsa hasn't seen milady all day; not since she went after you, saying stuff like; "Thief can't be trusted" and "Sister needs my help" And "throwing away the honors by listening" And stuff. Elsa doesn't know what that means though... Oh, Elsa did meet some cows today, who were looking for miss Heidi. Elsa thinks they want to meet you; probably to size you up -did miss Heidi know the whole bovine-ravenaire thing is still really shaky and frail? Milady Minerva told Elsa just the other day: "We could be sipping tea together now, but a single rumour will have us pulling each-others hair. Its true, Milady said that! Elsa doesn't lie!"

"Minerva closed my way home..." Heidi said as her attention wandered, then snapped back to Elsa. "S-she followed us. C-close the portal through w-which I came here. A-and then... something h-happened between her and Elia... S-she...had forced sex... I think..... A-and everyone wants m-me to get the p-portal gem back..."

Heidi knelt down and stroked Elsa's hair. "S-so... these 'cows'. Did they s-say they would c-come back?"

"Elsa doesn't get it..." The dog girl muttered softly, but smiled as Heidi knelt down and stroked her hair.
Elsa grinned and pressed herself against Heidi softly, but lovingly. "Elsa doesn't remember~ B-but Elsa did ask where miss Heidi could find them... T-they laughed at Elsa for talking back, Elsa thinks, but they told Elsa that they were waiting in the blue house, the fourth last house on the left. E-Elsa thinks they are quite influential if they live that far to the end..."

"I see" Heidi replied. "S-so they want to s-see me. A-appraise me, perhaps? Well they m-may have to wait. We n-need to find Minerva, as I have a h-horrible feeling that what h-happened away from here m-may have had a p-profound effect on h-her. Shall we go look?"

Cassie grinned before shaking her head. "That you have and besides, I don't plan on killing you, I merely asked if you've been useful while I was away."
