Ridley?

I would love to be part of this project. And I love Metroid's Ridley to death.
So I drew him in hopes of being used. (I didn't finish his legs obviously, or his dick)
Tell me if the parts don't fit correctly or if you need anything redrawn.
If my drawing isn't up to par, I understand. I'd happily be just an assistant fapper.

If you do make use of me, I'll find time to fill out requests.

I would love to see Ridley and Samus in this game. Nice work.

hmm, ridley has a lot of potential as one of the bosses to get used in this game, and we could even make it to him having two forms, regular and his 'meta ridley' form, if we do a recolor of the original. I can think of a few ideas of how to include him in the story if we keep him, thanks for this contribution and go ahead and finish the missing parts.

well finish a ridley character sheet with a side (-d ), 3/4 d(- -d), front d(- -)b and back view d( )b also be sure to give a open, partially closed, and closed hand of both sides of the hand. If you do a good job on it and others are satisfied we can probably put you on enemy design as I'm doing it currently. no promises though unfortunately. Be sure to use 300pixels when you scan it in since it give a much better quality. also i was in all likely hood going to put ridley in but i had doubt because i thought maybe we should do metroid prime final form but that would be to close to the karazo spirts.

I appreciate the encouragement, I'll see if i can get it posted by this weekend.

Looking good so far Shedra! Just make sure you make Ridley a penis, so he can fuck the shiz out of whomever >o<
Then again, I could probably do that in the editing stage, so no worries.
But keep up the good work ^^

Agreed Shedra, Ridley looks like Ridley, and like something you'd find in LoK.
Have you tried showing him in 4 legs? Just curious. He's usually pretty damn big unless they are going to reduce his size to make him fit in the game. Him moving on all four is canon, he actually moves pretty damn fast like that.

What games is he on all fours? He always looks crouched or hunched over, not crawling.
I don't really feel up to re-drawing all his poses to put him on all fours. But I'll keep it in mind if I must.
I don't know anything about vectors, do I just outline it and color it then save it as a PNG?

the second part of the second part in Prime 1 fight, he loses his wings and he spends the rest of the fight moving on all four. Also in Corruption, the times he stands up in 2 legs is with some attacks or when you stun him and knock him on his ass, so you can rip open his chest, if I recall correctly. I'd have to watch the fight again to remember, though

Shedra, don't worry about Vectors, that's my department. I take the image, sketch over what it looks like altogether, make some slightly needed adjustments, and be on my way with my methods in the dark shady lands of real to digitalization. All I really need is an image of where all of Ridley goes, so I can put him together in a final vectorization.
If we use this Ridley, we probably won't be putting him on all fours, as I imagine it'd be either quite difficult or annoying to do.
Compiling a central image with all the pieces of Ridley together would help a lot, although, I can't confirm that we will be using this Ridley as of yet, as I would need further provisions from the other team members in order to ensure it. Then again, a full compiled image of all the pieces you drew would help a hell of a lot in determining its future.

Should I just shove my pieces of drawing together? I can't imagine that would look very good, but if you think it'll help.

I would just keep calm for now. If you have the time, I might suggest labeling each viewpoint so we know what is what (on the computer, you don't want to actually write over top of them), or making a hand that is opened up completely. Currently, our agenda is set on certain topics of other transgressions, so before we can get to Ridley, we have to get to other people first.
You can refine it if you want to--even make a full capacity portrait of Ridley (that would be helpful--plus, most sketches that are produced for the game, I heavily refine and perfect before going in and creating the character's final build, so it wouldn't have to be perfect). But in all sincerity, I would just wait, because right now (metaphorically) we're rebuilding and re-modifying a demolished house--and right now we're only half-way through nailing down the floorboards, so we really can't add anything extra on until the floors are completely finished and the carpet is laid out--once we do that, we'll start painting the walls, and adding the furniture.
We'll be onto things like Ridley in the <near> future, so don't worry ^^

we should use the first ridly, as he just gets bigger and more monsterous every time samus kills him.

The classic design for Ridley?
You mean that one on the lower right? (That's apparently official art from the original game, I can't confirm that for sure).
I always have liked that design, it was much more alien and actually kinda frightening. (didn't translate well to the 8bit sprite though)

not the first ridley, more like super metroid ridley, him or metroid prime's meta ridley, those are the images i think most think of when they picture him.

Isn't the Super Metroid Ridley basically what I drew?
I took some liberties, but he looks basically the way I drew him.
