I am working om a Krystal model right now but i dont really know if im going to complete it. Actualy i did trace the head but as far as i can se playshapes did also trace. So i would like to know what you think?

Just a tip for people who are animating with this model, always check for the latest update.

Hmm, it's looking ok, and thanks for finding the source playshapes used, i never could figure out where he got it from. Something i don't get, why draw the head and torso but not include the arms and legs? one of the basic things we're taught in art class is to do the entire body at once, i'm not saying we arn't more prone to developing the details in the head first and working our way down, but it really helps when you already have a gesture drawing (read: stick figure) to build off of.

Overall i like the hairstyle you've given her the most, the bangs have a nice amount of volume but i think they come too far along the side of the head compaired to your pic where they stop just before the ears. remove the furthest bang back and i think that'll be pretty good. Also there should be a little more white than blue to her face, you can see what i mean in the picture you posted. the muzzle looks pretty good although i dunno how you'd do changing expressions, then again i'm not an animator, it might be really simple for all i know. The last thing is a problem we had when vixentamer submited his krystal sprite that i see here as well, the head to body ratio is off, she's going to end up looking a bit 'chibi'ish. the torso needs to be longer, as well as any other adjustments that would need to follow suit.

This is a good start just keep building off what others tell you.

Thanx! I'll try to fix that to next time i work on her and why i did not make everything done is because i want things seperated and also i dont have any knowledge at all how you should draw characters so i use to do it this way.

Here's some quick pointers to give you an idea of how she should look based off typical human proportions. The average human is somewhere between 7-7 and a half heads tall. yes you measure by a person's head not in inches or centimeters. An idealized human is usually around 8 heads tall, it think this usually comes form making the legs longer.

1st head-self explanitory
2nd head- from the bottom of the chin to middle of the chest, meeting with her nipples
3rd head- from middle of the chest to her belly button
4th head- from her belly button to her crotch

and then the rest goes into her legs and feet. here's a link that hopefully makes it a bit more clear http://www.seanmichaelragan.com/img/hum ... s_tall.jpg granted, that's a male figure so don't reference it too heavly, krystal wouldn't have noticable muscles obviously, I'm just posting it to make the 8 heads tall thing make sense.

well I can tell the torso is longer, but her breasts need to move down as well, they are too high up on her as is, she also looks like she has no neck, that might just be from the lack of proper shoulders though.

I cant tell, what did you change on the head?

overall it's better the torso is probably long enough now for 7 heads tall, just move the breasts down some.

I did make the cut the hair a little and i think it made some different and later i think im going to make the ears a bit bigger (i love big ears)

Do you think i should lower the boobs more?

I am also trying to get some more neck out of it.

that's pretty good where they are now, any lower and she'll probably look like she's sagging.

Would it be possible for you to add a bit of fine detail to her face to make her look a bit older, she looks a bit loli. I know krystal is a bit innocent but not that much, she is a highly trained warrior. You could try to add that to her face, but I recommend you instead add a warrior feel to her movements instead, that is when you get to the animation stage. Also as I said she is a warrior so you should add a little bit of muscle tone.
Do all this detail in the way you perfer or not at all, the choice is yours.

Anyway sorry rambling on, you are doing good work as always keep it up.

@Blaze I will add some more muscles i think but i dont know how im going to her look older by adding details to her head but im going to test some stuff anyway.

Oh neat! Lovvvvve it Kat! ;) good work, just to offer a quick tip tho, the breast farthest away seems to be a tad plump at the top, idk if you wanna fiddle with it or not, but idk let me know if I'm out of line here, it might need a bit of a shaving down, yeah? Just a suggestion. :) Keep up the good work!

Made a hand that does not fit at all.

Fix the back arm.

Done with the tattoo on the arm and it does also make the arm look round instead of flat.

Started with some shadows for the body.

I saw blaze's comment and i've been thinking about how to make krystal look older in the face and I think i have two suggestions, but I can't promise they'll work.

1. shrink the eyes a bit this i'm really not sure on, personally i think they look Ok as is, but it might make a difference.

2. change the jaw. if anything does it, it'll probably be this, from her nose down to her jaw is a very youthful curve of lines. I don't know how to word it right but i think pulling her muzzle out further form her face might help fix that. Note how the reference pic playshapes used had a very straight line for the bottom of her jaw rather than the curve you're using.

Added some nipples, i dont know if i want them to be white, blue, or pinkish or like playshapes nipples.

I resized the eye and that made her look a lot more like a adult and even hotter too, thank you for the tip trunks. actualy it did look very weird if you think about it.

But im not going to change how the jaw looks like because i tried but it did just look weird.

I'd just like to say that the face is quite cute :D

Considering that this is of course cartoon-styled, 6-7 heads is probably a decent height for a character. I think going above 7 might make her look too tall, I dunno. I'm fairly sure that in the actual games Krystal (and at least some of the other characters) are only about 4 heads tall.

May want to add a little more muscle to her arms, but not too much. (like Blaze said about the warrior thing; she should look moderately strong at least)

Considering the angle, I think the far breast should stick out from her torso a bit more? It doesn't quite look right considering the other breast and her torso. I guess if you want her to look sexier and more mature or whatever, maybe her hip/butt should come out a little more too.

The shape of her jaw/muzzle might be fine, it looks like it would be able to emote well. If you want her to look more mature you could try a less relaxed and more serious expression.

Just my two cents I guess :)

A little bit more boobies and ass to the people! enough?

I really like cute faces thats why i wanted to make my own krystal model because i dont think playshapes isnt cute enought.

Right now the expresion is un touched but i promise i will make a more seriously one when i need one.
