New project

Hello all, I love all of the work on this site and just decided to join. I, myself am not a bad artist, but I am only a basic user when it comes to flash animations. I am currently working on two characters who I plan to make animated. I am still in progress of finishing the male and now need some tips on how to get started animating said characters. I would be happy to share my art so I can get some feed back and what not. Any help is much appreciated, as I do have a few questions. First, just curious, is there a way to make a "stick figure" skeleton to attach to a character so then it would possibly be easier to animate them? just curious.

Here is an early snip-it of my male character:

Your characters looks great! In Lok 2.0 theres no "furry" guys and i they are great so this will be awesome! If you want any help whit coding in actionscript 2.0 i may be able to help.

There is one way that i think will work great but i never got time to test it anyway you only need to create two keyframes inside the leg one with the real leg and on the other emtpy keyframe you draw a line from the top of the leg to the end and then you put the keyframe with the line first.

Ok, thanks, that makes sense, I'll play with it and see what I can do. Now I just need a way to make joints so that the "skeleton" stays together. Also, coding help would be awesome as well, I'm still designing my characters so we'll see how they turn out first. I'm trying to get the "privates" of said characters tuned up first

1 looks best as it just fits the model well, however if you are like the rest of the majority on this forums 2 would be minimum if you want to do tit fucking. Personally I would say stick to 1.

Number one fits best but its not hot enough so i would like to say number two if you replace the boobs a little.

I don't know how exactly to do this, but 3's boobs look ungainly, kind of inelastic, maybe? Possibly like they are fake. If you were to make them sag slightly more and smooth out the contours, 3 would be my favorite. The unnecessarily large boobs stick with the style of the female lizards.

I like the size of number two but in my opinion I think there are two things you could do to make it look a little nicer. one, try raising her nipples a bit because their positioning just looks a little unnatural right now and two, this is such a small thing but it makes such a difference, her side boob is just a bit too firm and round and all you have to do is shave a little off the top and it looks great.

I made a little edit to two and three to show what I mean.

I hope this helps and lastly, WOW she looks much prettier with hair! hope the project gets there :)

Though I don't have anything to add as far as technical stuff or artwork goes, I just thought I would poke my head in and say this all looks pretty good. Did you make your own avatar, Bussa? Despite it just being a headshot, It's particularly sexy.

Thanks for the comments and help everyone, I shall edit and edit again happily! :D

Thought I'd throw together a little flash to let you see the comparison of breast sizes, facial expressions so far, etc, as well as how progress with this particular character is going. Hope you enjoy!

No it's actually a "Scappo" work of art, I'll post the full image if you like, but I must warn you... it is very, how you say... only to certain people's liking.

The bone tool might help with that. There's plenty of tutorials/examples on the web, so just google it.
Bussa Wrote:Also, coding help would be awesome as well

For starters, you can make a simple loop like this:
1. Decide at which frames you want the loop to begin and end. Note the number the beginning frame has (I'll assume it's 1).
2. Right-click the frame at which you want the loop to end and choose Actions. (Preferably do this on a separate layer.)
3. Write gotoAndPlay(1); in the text area that appears.
4. Test the animation. It should loop endlessly.

Later on you may want to use buttons or what not to control the animation. There are tutorials for that too.

Here's the full image and source. You need a furaffinity account to see it, though.
