Hey
I Had a idea for a flash game I guess you could describe it as dungeon keeper mixed with a Tower Defence game and with added H elements: P
Called in Soulgem i might change that later on thou.

Plot
You are or where a powerful demon, however you over tasked yourself in your attempt to take over the kingdom and were defeated by a group of legendary heroes, but they were unable to completely destroy you so they sealed you away in gem. They took back the gem to a heavily guarded fortress to prevent you ever returning to threaten the world again. 300 hundred years past with no incident, no-one ever attempted to steal the gem from this fortress and soon the people tasked with protecting this gem begin to doubt the important of their mission and as a result they began to be more lax with their duties this provides a perfect opportunity for a single goblin to sneak into the fortress and steal the Gem without these so called heroes even noticing. Now with the gem safely back to the lair the heroes are once again attempting to breach the lair before you can recover all your powers.

Gameplay
Essentially it’s a tower defense game though instead of towers you have monsters and traps you have to stop the heroes from reaching the Soul Gem and making it out of the lair with the gem. the heroes would enter the dungeon from the left and have to make it to the end of the dunegon pick up the soul gem and get out of the dungeon. in order to prevent this you can place traps and creatures around the dungeon to stop them. captured heroes can be corrupted to join your cause for example a female mage can be corrupted to become a Succubus then she can also help corrupt other male heroes
you use Gold to pay for creatures and traps you get this from killing heroes, corrupting them or doing side quests.


Heroes
heroes have both male and female versions of each class.
Warrior
Basic Combat Hero strong in combat and defence but pretty normal in all other areas
Mage
Basic Mage Hero uses magic very weak at close combat worst at avoiding traps
Ranger
Basic Archer Hero uses a bow at range and then a knife when the enemy is close 2nd best at avoiding traps
Rouge
A rouge is not a hero in the traditional sense they are just after money and have no interest in fame or the greater good and as such will try and avoid fights when possible using their impressive sneak skill makes them undetectable by most creatures they are also good at avoiding traps

If a hero falls in combat there's a chance he or she will be knocked out instead of killed this assumes you have built a prison otherwise they just die and turn into a skeleton.


Buildable buildings
Prison
Here you keep any heroes who have captured from here you can attempt to corrupt them, ransom them for quick gold or use to complete a sidequest.
Lair
Lair increases the hp regen of all your monster and give them a percent chance of surviving a mortal blow.

Traps
Spike pit Trap
A traditional spike pit causes impalement and death has a long reset time.
Fear Trap
Causes fear this will slow heroes down give you time to set up more traps or your monsters to heal. Some heroes are better at coping with fear than others.
Alarm Trap
Alerts nearby creatures to the presence of a hero best used against rouges
Incense burner
reduces defense and attack but increase Desire can lead to sex attacks.

Creatures
I have lots more ideas for creature but best to limit them at the moment.
Ork
Basic Combat Creature
Succubus
You create a Succubus when you corrupt a heroes can then corrupt other male heroes
Skeleton
Thanks to the inherent black magic in the dungeon any hero that dies automatically becomes a skeleton pretty weak but free.
Giant Spider
The giant spider is your primary detector since when deployed in a room in covers the floors walls and ceilings in webs making it impossible to enter the room without the spider noticing however the giant spider will only attack when it has the upper hand and then usually from the back also the giant spider uses a toxin that knocks the victim out rather than killing them.

i am currently working on some of the characters so i can try and get a proof of concept done any suggestions or feedback will be welcome (sorry if this thread is posted twice my Internet died the first time so was not sure it went through)

Hmmm, like the idea but there is already a tower defense game named Soul Gem. I am a huge Dungeon Keeper fan and was bummed when Bullfrog Studios went under. Maybe change the name though so people won't get confused?

sounds a bit like 'don't touch my gems' or whatever that other tower defense game is, but expanded upon and given a hentai twist to it. so my question is how often will there be H scenes as opposed to just flat out killing enemies? This sounds more like it's better suited as a straight forward tower defense game than as an H game right now, which is fine if you just want the H scenes to be an added bonus.

I had a look on the web and couldn't find the game you mentioned however it is true there are a lot of tower defense games with souls or gems so a name change is probably a good idea it was only meant to be temporary anyway.

here is a link to the upcoming game Dungeons its coming out in Feb if i remember right and its pretty much a copy of dungeon keeper :P

sorry it seems i did not do a very good job of explaining the concept :P (need to make some imgs)

It will be a side on game much like Angel girl demon girl etc except you do not control a character as such its more of a sim game in that way you control what creatures you have defending which rooms and were the traps will be placed. the play area will be bigger than the screen so you can scroll using the keyboard might be cool to have staircases or ladders allowing for big dungeons but that is a thought for later.

About the H i think it will depend on certain factors for example i want the heroes clothes damageable perhaps connect directly to their hp or have a separate stat for it but either way the less clothes the hero has the more likely they are to be attacked sexually and off course each monster will be different in their preferences for example a succubus would never attempt to rape a female hero no matter the state her clothes are in instead the succubus will be more active in attempting to rape male heroes etc and off course some creatures will just be completely focused on combat and will not bother with sexual attacks.

if a hero is captured you can take you time to corrupt them however at the moment i am not sure how this system will work i am still trying to work it all out at the moment. also perhaps if you manage to corrupt a hero before they are defeated in combat you get a stronger creature out of it than if you corrupted them when you had the locked up. but this would be more time consuming and might allow them to get too close to the gem.

at the moment i am working on the getting the basics done i am not bothering to much in making good art at the moment want to get the foundations working first before i spend time on art and animation.

Make sure to include some incubi, just to balance out haveing succubi, other than that i got nothing else to add at the moment.

yeh they were on the future creature list was going to forbid them from being in the same room as a succubus though as it might be too distracting for them :P.

i am not so good at flash coding so having issues with ai going to have a look at maybe making a flash game to improve my understanding first before i dive in head first :) thinking about doing something like the demon girl game but turn it on its head and have you playing as a succubus who can rape men :P

I support this. Could certainly be fun. Though you could ramp up the H to be more like "Angel Girl" and "Demon Girl" and have all the creatures be into raping the heroes. And the heroes could all be female, with lots of big-cocked monsters/demons/tentacles, etc. Or if you wanted to have non-H monsters, it could be like DK2 and the enemies are only knocked out, then brought back to the prison to be... "interrogated" in the torture chamber. Of course, a "fuck their brains out" attack to KO the enemy could be fun. The best of luck to you!

i think at the moment its heading towards encompassing both your ideas with h attacks via creatures and "interrogations " for those that have been captured

going to put the project on hold till February Rare Studios is excepting internships so going to focus on trying to get in that program before i turn my attention back to this
