I'm having too much trouble with the conflict engine. The problem is trying to incorporate dialog-based conflicts into the engine. I have decided to scrap the conflict system and move to a combat system and just manually deal with other types of conflicts. It will mean that the game will have less versatility than I had planned, but I'm just not skilled enough to design the conflict engine the way that I would like.
In other news I have a new writer (possibly two) on the team to help with content while I finish the combat engine. Hopefully this will mean more frequent releases for you folks. It might take a little while to get them up to speed though, so don't expect miracles.
