Wow, I like it. :) But I can't find the way for the guard to let me go to the next city. I have 8 soldiers, all with their card. Is it that it is the end for now?

To everyone who complains on the first fight...

NOOOOOOOBS!

Seriously though, it is not that hard. Just spam your healing ability, and you'll win it, despite how long it will take. 'Course the fun part it all the grinding to do. Bah! Useless fights. Stupid enemies...

Off track here, ignore that. Great game so far. Pretty sure I've done everything I can as of right now. Gave everyone I could a card, and need to wait to get more cards for the other two people I got. Wonder what they'll get. Should be interesting. Found an awesome way to earn gold. Really easy, too. :D

I'll be awaiting for the next release, my friend.

I don't think the "travelling merchant" who sells the Emperor spawned in my version, and I've been waiting around for a while.
I got bugged-out Chandler, but he's stuck as a mortal.
And what's up with those snakes, I've no idea where to find 'em.

The snakes are on the second floor of the tower you find Chandler in. :P

Thanks! I was stuck too. Once you talk to the potion guy, you never get a repeat =/

For whatever reason, when I got the card Strength, Pual dissapeared. Eventually I found that if I checked the papers at his table, I would be talking to him and he joined.

Holy shit have I been busy. Finished the semester and moved back home, my girlfriend is staying with me here for a week and I've been showing her around, so I haven't really been able to do much. I'm just letting you guys know and definitely not trying to get my thread on the front page again >.> <.< ^^

@Lucky - I've slowed down the scroll speed, so we'll see if that helps. Trying to find an alternative to the portrait. I think I fixed the chandler problem... but I'm not sure... I'll check again... Um... Why is he stuck as a mortal (If you have any idea)? And I can't think of why the emperor merchant wouldn't spawn but he comes out pretty late.

@Crazy_alan1988 - yea, that's been fixed.

@Bluebody - no pressure right?

Sorry to say, but I have absolutely no idea. I don't know what his card is, so it might just be that I didn't get his card, but it might also be because I have Glitch-Prince and not the legit version.

If I didn't get his card, I dunno where it could be, actually, but if you tell me what it is, I'll tell you if I have it in my key items slot or not.

Lucky, the Prince's card is The Devil. You get it by giving the old manuscript (or something) to the girl in the library.

Dunno where the old manuscript is, I might have skipped how to find it by pressing "run" by accident, just like I skipped the instruction to sleep before you could meet the oracle the first time.
Sour about the hardcoding of those keys, but whatever.

I guess I'll just learn to walk VERY slowly before I talk to any NPCs.
(Something like a quest log can help with knowing WHAT they sent you to do, but it's actually nice to see the in-character dialogue, so I'mma have to work on releasin' dat run key on time.)

Old Manuscript is found in the tower.

You may start to notice that this game really rewards players for exploring. So there isn't necessarily a cue or clue for how to get each card.

That's perfectly fair.

I'mma have a look at it later, I just thought "Shit, maybe I missed a hint, and I'm not going back through this thing just to find that hint again."

As to the tower, I beelined to the top and then got the fuck out of there as fast as I could after fighting the succubus, because I didn't have enough of the worthless healing items to get back to a comfortable health-level, the priest was out of mana, and I was legitimately in danger of getting outright ganked by a low-class minion.

Regarding the guard in the tower that moves after you get the prince in your party. If you are standing in the spot where he moves to when you talk to him the game freezes up on you, and I mean that you can't even open up the menu to try and reload the game.

Hey guys, felt like posting this to let you know I'm still alive. Motivation for this game is my biggest problem, followed shortly after by inspiration. Like I've got ideas I want to implement but the details start to build up and I'm left immobilized. But whatever. I'm still working on the game and at least life isn't really getting in the way, as busy as it might be.

I think all I'm gonna do before I put out a new version is put the lovers in and finish one of the side story arcs. Fuck the hermit for now.

great game, but there is one problem ive had with some rpgs recently

if you talk to the guard in chandlers tower, he is supposed to move away but if you stay at the position he is supposed to go the game is stuck...

several options ive thought of
1. he moves "into" you and you can continue
2. if playerposition is xxx guard moves to yyy
3. the dialogue ends, you can move away and afterwards he moves to his position

-i believe that the reward for slaying 10 groups should be rethought, i mean 30 gold? QQ (i know its for the card to be found but...)
--->mb a coupon for a hidden brothel or sth completly different

+i like the "hard" gamemode, but maybe there should be the option to play the games in easy
+i like that you have to search every inch to find extra stuff, it even bothers me if it is useless to search :P - mb you should even plant items and useless stuff, for dialogues, in shelfs etc(vampire dawn-like also a great game btw, no porn though)
+dialogues arent that bad, i mean you dont write well instead of will etc (+as long as it is easily understood)

-mb a quest-overview in the menu?

great game so far, looking forward to the next releases ^_^

ah i also forgot to mention that the merchant didnt appear, (dont have the emperor)
could be due to the fact that i didnt get jessica immediatly (skipped the dialogue accidently by moving) and left the city, enterd the castle etc

->no merchant, atm 7chars and adam w/o a card
