I'm guessing the name is mocking copyrights? Basically poking fun at them? Although since there's no profit in this it isn't technically against the law.

'R4yne', 'N0va', 'Contana', 'moster cheef' and a few other characters I'm infringing on -might- be...

If the models you got were bought or downloaded from a public source that the Right holder gave out then you can do anything you damn well please with those models just so long as you don't break the law. As for the pictures they're copyrighted to a "*Blankitdy blank blank" AKA "Corta" if he didn't steal the models. If he did then they might be copyrighted to him or maybe who ever the models are copyrighted to.

If you were to claim fair use or parody you could claim copyright basically no matter what just so long as you can prove your claims.

Corta's 3D Pit

everything in there was done in a 3d program called "poser".

..and a little Photoshop to make textures, but no post-work!

I dabbled a bit with Poser.

The problem is that stock figures are missing the anatomically correct parts. Arduino is making the best genital morphs which are very realistic and can be animated.

Another problem is that Daz 3D has introduced a new figure base (Victoria 5) which has an unimesh vastly better for posing but alas it is not supported in Poser, only in DAZ Studio. I got a free version of DAZ Studio (they were giving it away at some point, not sure if they still do), but then I hit another obstacle -- no genitals again. I tried to find a full version on p2p but I could only find ones without genitals (they started selling it without genitals and promised adding them later to your purchase).

I am thinking of writing an SDL/OpenGL (or DirectX if I am not too lazy to start learning it) based engine which could work with Poser models so that sex games can be made with real 3D animation but I have very little time to spare at the moment and I really believe that such a task is too big for one person.

Corta's 3D Pit

I've always wondered what'd happen if I could make a 3d game as easily as a flash one..
ah well, I guess modding games will just have to do..

these sets might get some sounds, later on... if I ever finish any of them.. ;)

It would be great to see the demons chest rise and fall with his breathing. I think that would add a good deal of realism.

I did some work in poser myself... very cool program. Elbows and such gets a little weird in some positions; it takes a lot of small adjustments to get things to look right.

About textures. I am not sure what you use, but I found that using a math filter to turn them black and white (desaturation) and then combining (blend or add) it with a plain color texture gets the shading and features right even with unusual skin colors - and you can do that in-engine, which is definitely a bonus when you play around with it. It does loose you the other colors on the texture, though (lips or such) - fortunately many of the features have their own maps.

I don't have poser installed or I could give you the references with proper names on how to do it. As is, my memory fails me. :(

Cool work, good luck!
