well that's a long time to be setting yourself up for disappointment then. Back on page two workhorse said,

I wouldn't read too much into the Bowser/Koopa/Mario Is Missing character on the dev picture. That particular sprite has a better layer architecture than the original lizard sprite so I'm using it as a template for the new angle on our male.

From what I can tell, he meant Morton is a place holder for perspective and will be replaced with a different character/sprite.

well thats if we ever return to this. how many good animation threads have gone down the cyberspace drain before this one. and with samus stealing the show i doubt there are many chances for revivals.

I must say I'm flattered that you would spend your first post here on the forum by telling me to stop trying to kick this thing back to life rather than wasting it on something productive x) No but I see what you mean, enthusiasm gets the best of me sometimes. I'll try to be a little more subtle.

Can't wait to see this finished. But maybe make them all have individual commands so they aren't all doing something unless you want them to, considering samus is in the room and the mermaid and her will both make noise it would get annoying after a moment. Just a thought.

Thanks! I don't think it'll ever truly be done. My intention was just to add animation bits and pieces as I went. Give it a rough theme and just keep going for as long as the interest is up. I do intend on polishing everything as I go but animation is slow work, and I'm definitely not making deadlines like the LoK staff is. I only throw an hour or two of work at it per week.

Good idea, I hadn't thought of that. Already the sounds are a little spammy so it'll definitely need to be addressed.

you are/were in the phase where your posts needed to be approved by an admin first. I'm not sure what the magic number is where you don't need approval anymore, but I know you're around it if not just recently passed the mark with your latest posts.

Now that i think about it, fucking a 1up is great way to earn an extra life...
