Grape_Drink Wrote:Hey sorry guys, I'll try to get the game up as soon as possible. When the comcast guy hooked up the new internet he done screwed up, and I'm getting a 403 error at every corner... The update is done but I'm having issues accessing the filesharing sites (I barely got into LoK after half a dozen 403s)
moonblack Wrote:Question for the mods:
Why does this thread show as having new posts even though I have read all the posts in it? Is it because of an unapproved post, or a forum bug, or something?
Darthan Wrote:I am pretty sure that that right there is the problem. I have not heard very many good things about comcast. Can't actually say anything from personal experience though, I live in a small town and the only internet that is available here is the local phone company's service, which is ridiculously priced by the way.
MerDeLumiere Wrote:Hey, Grape! I had to move house, but now that I'm back you shan't be free of me.
So I'm playing through the newest version and I reckon I'll have multiple questions or some such, for now though, Is the bath scene gonna lead to anything?Spoiler (click to show/hide):I know you won't want to spoil anything or anything like that, y'know? Just, confirmation would be good.
I'll add to this post later, probably.
'Kay, so I can guess who it was. Now I just wonder where the Joanna event goes. It'd be good if there were some things that're just for flavour, but uh, any comment?

*calms down a little*
The battle against Lucien and Grom is simply TOO luck based. For starters, a single lucky critical hit by Grom takes out Nytarra - she has 200 HP while a lucky critical does around 250 damage. Second, it takes just 3 hits to take her out - one Stunning First and one use of Grom's dual attack, and your main damage dealer is out before the first round of combat is over. And last, but not least, the stun effect is extremely annoying - even if Nytarra does not get taken out right away, if she gets stunned even once it's a huge issue (and Lucien almost always strikes first).
I must have been extremely lucky in the previous version, because it took me just 2 attempts to win the fight. This time even after 10 attempts I can't win.
And to make things even more annoying, we have a cut scene we have to watch every. single. time. before the battle starts. Grrr!
EDIT: Finished the current content. I loved the Jill scene.
I know it's too soon to talk about the end, but I hope one of the possible endings (assuming that there will be more than one) will be a lesbian harem featuring all the pretty girls Nytarra has seduced (Jill, Sen, possibly Joanna, a certain elf, and Jenallia...)
Minor oversight: At the start of the game, after leaving your room you can approach Jill from the right, but she has nothing to say. You must first trigger the conversation where she tells you to stay away from Lendell before you can talk to her. I suggest changing that so that if you approach her from the right and try to talk to her you start the whole "Stay away from Lendell" talk.
MAJOR BUG: Even after starting Chapter 2 you can go back and repeat the final fight of the tournament (or at least start it - I didn't bother finishing it).

If you need help with any bug testing or bug fixing - let me know and I'll try to help.
Aetrun Wrote:Glad to hear progress is being made, and as to RL being a time-sink, I know that feeling all to well (military anyone ) Thank you for letting us know how things are going, and yes, I do prefer big updates to piecemeal ones, so get it to us whenever you can- waiting may be a bitch, but the result is worth it.
