*bump* >_> <_<

Uh, so, I think I'll be updating really late Friday (close to or after Midnight) or Saturday morning this time. I want to check a few more things off my list, but I won't be able to do any editing until really late on Friday.

CS4 wasn't the fix I was hoping for and too much would have been lost because of some probable corruption so I'm still working in CS5 for now, but I think I had a break-through. Managing the characters/costumes has been pulled out from the base character parts and will be attached during the game. You shouldn't notice any difference in the gameplay (there may be some lag on slower computers as the costumes get added in). It's made editing enemies a lot faster, so it seems to be the fix I was looking for. I'll still be trying to get it to CS4, but there's probably some corruption that I'll have to figure out before I can.

Blargh, how about Flash CS5.5? My friend has it, I tested it (now with MIM yet) and its better than CS5.

I have a few outfit improvements to suggest. The Metroid bikini top needs some slight redrawing as the collar is wider than the neck and the back shoulder should be uncovered. Also the sleeves of Misty's swimsuit, May's, and Solana's outfit should be moved to the shoulder object. That way they're removed when the rest of the top is ripped off.

[OFF] I did some cosmetic changes and my post dissapeared. I hope this will end when I reach 10 posts :)
Yes, the final decision, of course, is from Blargh. Its his version :)

I've played Mim2 by PS. Its soooo limited so far. But Peach is more '3d' (more shadowed) and her jump animation is very nice.I didnt like the toads screen and the 80's flipper sound :/ I saw yoshi and Luigi :)

kekeke111 Wrote:Has anyone suggested the option to turn off voices or possibly change them from Peach?

This option may not have been needed, if Blargh use offline voices (that is, mp3 or ogg files in the same dir of MiM.swf). So everyone could change the voices to their liking.

Its easy to do that . Loading external files in AS2. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/2/help.html?content=00000409.html.

Unfortunatelly, its not easy to count the number of files in a dir to use , say, 100 random voices in a sex scene (that is, act1.mp3, act2.mp3...
Thats because flash does not have access to the filesystem, even to just 'count' the files and index them :/

New update:
- Added some error-handling to the zoom code
- Raccoon and Frog heads are back to LuftMallow's base
- The costumes you have set to power-ups will be used instead of auto-loading saved outfits
- Reorganized character select again (please bear with the double set of buttons for now, I'll be changing it again soon)
- Characters are now added to power-ups separately from the costume
* It increases the number of clicks, but I believe this is less confusing (and hopefully less confusing some more when it's updated next)
- Okay, this should be the last fix for the frog power
* Using Char to All and Outfit to All before didn't have the frog power code
- You might notice the camera readjusts with scenes in the second kingdom area. This is to prepare for zooming in on scenes, but it's not done yet.
* There are some bugs, like the focus on the bomb doesn't work if you masturbate before talking to the chancellor (and also if you don't).
- Added Vivian by Blargh to the list of characters, and Sling Bikini by LuftMallow to the list of costumes.
PS: This update's FLA is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?35s0qvc11t33uas.

With all the New content Playshapes just released, do you have any plans to add any of the new models, animations, characters or landscapes(Bagground levels)
Or because you added/worked so much with the first game, you'll just ignore it and keep on creating your own stuff?

I have yet to really go through Playshapes' new stuff, but I'll scavenge whatever works with the current game. So if the characters or animations don't match up, I probably won't use them.

alfaBonk Wrote:I find myself in the odd position of wanting to thank you for this game...

odd because I've never liked platformers and I really suck at them anyhow...

but MiM is the only platformer I've ever actually finished all the way through.

I hope that's a sufficient compliment :D

Considering the length of the game.... >_>
Well, as I like to say in various ways, porn is a powerful motivator. ^_^

Abuse of Greatness Wrote:This post was made shamelessly to increase post count by one, simply because I'm too lazy to think of anything not redundant to say.
Feel free to simply not read it, because it will probably be random, "tis gud bro" sort of comment.

Anyways, this game is fun to play, to say the least.
I think it's much more fun, and challenging, to avoid all the enemies unless you absolutely have to interact with them (such as Morton, I think he is called.)
I'm glad that this game is starting to expand more than just the extra character added/feature to adjust appearances.

Production is slow going, but steady. Animations take a while (hopefully my fix will make it go faster :) ), setting up boundaries takes a while, mapping an area takes a while, filling an area takes a while. So many things that all need my focus. <_<

Urahara Wrote:I found another bug in-game - sometimes the Bombs will "catch" your character without actually getting close - this usually happens to me when I'm cleaning my char in the spot at the front of the castle - even though my char is standing at a considerable distance from the spawn point, sometimes (not always, but sometimes) it starts a scene on it's own. Sorry for making problems (again), considering how much time and effort it takes to fix the already present ones.

I want to address this again. The problem is the bomb's re-spawn point is right beside the flag. I'll probably try to have it fall from the sky to fix the issue, but not immediately.

zeldafreak1 Wrote:Keep up the good work Blargh! But dont overwork yourself. It wouldnt be good for a dev of your skill to die from stress would it?

I stress over not doing enough work on the project when I'm not working on it, but I need to take a break from it to de-stress. >_> Especially when putting in a trace to find the source of problem code fixes the problem code. No worries, though. I take liberal amounts of break time.

ivanaedler Wrote:Blargh, how about Flash CS5.5? My friend has it, I tested it (now with MIM yet) and its better than CS5.

I tried it out, but it wasn't much different than CS5. It also didn't fix my issues. <_<

Yeah, I can't stand the sex games that punish you for getting into sex scenes. It's taking away my only reason for playing the games most times. >_>

Ah, I see the metroid bikini issue. For the sleeves, though, the shoulder object doesn't get ripped off. It's just the vest and bra that do, so the sleeves would be staying anyway. And the layering won't work if the sleeves get moved to the vest or bra. :/

I understand at the fully extent :) I dont think, however, that 'avoidment' is equal to 'punishment'. Its only a caveat (lets say, an alternative pace). Lets say Peach dont want to be 'fucked directly'. So she jumps in the goomba and flatten him. He becames flattened for a given time and can stand up (like the ghost turtle) and fuck her more intensely. For now, it could be the same animations. If Peach want to fuck him directly 'to save the kingdom faster' (the default way), during the scene she might also try to avoid it, pressing <-> and <-> , like shinobi girl (only an idea). I dont think its a punishment :D

Think I mentioned this before and forgot to follow up on it, but I'll repeat myself and provide actual material this time. I don't know if it's just Wendy, but the eyes misalign on the player character sometimes. It's usually subtle, but it becomes really obvious during the scene when you're waking up on top of Morton. You can see what I mean in this screencap:

Image

Almost coming off of her face there, as you can see. It gets a bit worse when she's getting up, then snaps back into position. Maybe it's something to do with Wendy having a different head?

Oh well, I must have misremembered that those shoulder objects got removed too in Morton's scenes. There's now an issue of a part of Peach's skirt showing up for all outfits in the masturbation animation.

I've been working on a proper background for the underwater area so it doesn't look too bare bones. I'm still trying to get the gradient to look right but I did make it tile-able:

I'm also working on some background objects to add character to the area as well.

Fixed the skirt issue. For some reason, if the two pieces were named the same (I don't know why they were named the same either), one of them wouldn't accept the unloadMovie code.

Why is underwater so dark? I can only see a thin blue line at the top and then blackness below.

I brightened up the colors, did more for the gradient effect, and added Bowser's sub. Yes, I know the rivets are going the wrong way, I didn't want to sit there adding hundreds of dots going lengthwise.

My first contribution ;)
Its 10 sprites (vectorized) of Mario items (mim-prop.rar).
http://www.share4web.com/get/byq7Y5S8Cq ... s.rar.html
(it´s a CS4 .fla file).

Some was created from scratch. Some was partially converted from New Super Mario Bros (DS). I say 'partially' because I always do some work to be more original and unique.
A thing that could be so nice in some levels is the 'red platform which trembles then falls off'. If peach drops in....well.....some goombas/turtles may be awaing

Whoo! That's a lot better! Very nice ocean floor. ^_^

A sub, you say? I know nothing of a sub's design, so the rivets look just fine to me.

Good sub. Looking up submarine photos, I can't even see rivets, so the only way I could complain about the rivets is by saying "it'd come apart in slices!".

The aesthetics are what matters, and you did well on them. The ocean floor is very good, the sub is nice (the frontmost rivets are a bit strange, though...), and the water color is good for shallow, clear water.

Alright tried out the new version, I honestly don't mind all the buttons, everything makes sense to me. (Not sure about everyone else. I just like it more adjustable.)
Minor note: Decided to make it spoilers because it's just way easier to read in chunks rather then huge blocks of text that take up half the page.
(Vivian looks awesome by the way, ;D *Click click* if you know what I mean xD)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(curious why you said it was made by "Blargh" in third person.. There's a second BLARGH isn't there?! You have a clone that you make work while you take all the credit..YOU MONSTER)

Let's see as far as things that may need to be fixed:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The frog and Raccoon suit I like luft's, ish nice, the enveloping the entire head when you move is cool, cum doesn't show though just as a (you probably know but may need to know).
The flag to the castle has lately been changing colors from red to whitish grey from each wave, I think it's trying to shade it darker as it moves out of the "light" but turning it completely whitish grey seems weird, maybe a darker red would be better? (if that's what you were doing that is, I is not sure..*)

*(Just realized what is going on I think.)
It's taking code/image for the flag color from the "finished/cleared" Castle flag and putting it on there I think xD Silly thing, I don't know why though if that's thee case.

Eye noticed, some problems with Wendy, also Eye noticed Krystal, Liz and Zora have the same issues. Furthermore, does the left boob seem strange when it rubs like it does? I don't know it seems like it should be redrawn in another way so that it doesn't show the nipple at all (or very little) as it rubs across his chest. Giving it the more Three-D look then making it seem like her arm is WAY far away while the rest of her body is running along a cardboard cut out. Just was how I saw it.

Cumming issues:
(Goomba scenes are perfect perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D)

I didn't see any readjusting, although you said "You may notice" so I guess that doesn't matter, more to the point on the second area, thee Morton when he's cumming in the last few scenes right before he passes out. It seems to have a weird synching issue, I can't really explain it better then that. also...

Thee third and forth/final Koopa scene, it has a looping issue at the end. Kinda interesting to see how much Cum a Normal Koopa can store, I think it's up to five pitches so far..hehe... (The difference between those two and the first two is the first two the cumming stops, but for the last two it continues on infinitely.)
All the bomb scenes.

The doors can be heard opening and closing ALL across the world 1, is there a way to fix this? I don't know, just got kinda annoying after awhile, especially when I was hunting goomba's to have my way with.

*Clears throat* THE CHANCELLORS HEAD IS MAGICAL! IT IS ON THE EDGE OF A CASTLE FLOOR! It's the eighth wonder of the world. I always knew they had budget cuts, they only built half a castle.... Or what really happened....

The name says it all. Basically I went up and around, the ceiling could use work in two areas, one the "boundary line" is lower then it should be (Creating a bump back before your head even hits the bricks making it look like invisible bumping) and then of course some more bricks to fix the up and around thing. (Personally..If you want my opinion I say you "drown" people that try to go up there, Aka reset them to the flag point  ...at least until you fix it Ehehehehehehe..! )

@Luft,
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

I think your submarine looks good, Especially given it show's how cheap Bowser was at some time. Submarines don't really look like that anymore :P They are more sleek and water cutting, I don't think many modern day submarines have rivets on the outside. Kinda hard to fix a water leak on a ship when the Rivets are outside and popping off from pressure :S but in any case I think the rivets look fine.
(If you really wanted it to be the other way, couldn't you just make a small section of rivets (Aka like draw/create a double rivet lines, and just copy and paste them along the frame as transparent backgrounds? Just am curious.((I have no experience with .SWF files so I don't even know if you start in real life, then take it to paint/photoshop/etc or not so this could be totally useless.))

Well that's my 9,003 - 9,001 cents.
