Valithan Wrote:pretty sure SS is on a hiatus till thanksgiving at this point, so I don't think he's going to be doing anything to update ridley this month. SS posts his work in .fla and .swf files, so I'm pretty sure he's working out of Flash, and unless you're saving into those formats, anything you posted, I think would still need to be redrawn in flash, so if you do draw something, it'd prob be best just to keep it simple, and clean line work.

Really? I have no experience with flash, but isn't it possible to use .svg files to make animations? For example, can someone make a flash animation out of a body with the single parts in .svg without redrawing them?

from what I've read about .svg, yea it can and is used for animations. I think it's preferred formatting is in .smil, but it looks like the .svg supports some of the same scripting Flash does. I don't know how well it works as an imported image, as I've only started to refresh myself on flash as of this past week, (in a campus computer lab) so I'll probably get more hands on answers tomorrow or in the following weeks.

Should I just shove my pieces of drawing together?

K, I've gotten some hands on experience with flash now, and you don't need the files to be vectored to animate them in flash — just symbols. The advantage of vector file types is flash can tweak details (which is very spiffy)

If you wanna post parts in any particular format, go ahead.
