Ah, well. If that were to work, it would take a lot of strain out of the fur.

Don't texture the fur. That would be ridiculously difficult to animate. Imply texture through line or value where you can but keep it very minimal. Even big animation studios with hundreds of professional animators will "cheat" their way through textures on animated assets. Take for instance the attached picture, a cell from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It's from the scene where the beast is taking a bath and has a lot of visual focus on the character's fur. Even in this scene the linear description of hair is kept to a minimum -- being used primarily around the silhouaette.

@workhorse: You make an excellent point and the illustration also helped to make your point. I agree, and what we are doing to mitigate clipping that comes from our "rotate the segment" style of animation is use cell shading. Clipping becomes more obvious when you use texture. However, it still happens and can be quite troublesome with cell-shaded animations as well.

We want a consistent look and feel to the game. The "style" we have chosen is cell shading: A base color with 2 or more tones of shading, plus an outline of that color but close to black. Well, here's an example.

Also it's nice what Mr. D is doing and all, and we encourage everyone to contribute, but at this time we prefer to use the one me and Katsu made.

Looks great but two things are bugging me with it. Her nipple on the left breast looks like it's not attached and kinda square and her face looks like it's dented in or something.

Pretty damn good. Just to be annoying, I think I'd add more life to the tail if I was being pedantic. In terms of core animation..

Noice..

Tits maybe could do with a little more 'squeeze' looking on the pole, if you get my drift...

Hey, if you blended a bit between the breasts and the nipples, I think that it would make it look more natural.

@ByHisBillowingBeard - Its just to show how the model works when animated, so I didnt really make much effort on the details ._.
And as for the fur ....well I am not so sure where to add it. I have next to none experience in drawing fur...... let me rephraze that, I have next to none experience in drawing at all XP. (yes I am perty much noob when it comes to art)


@Zeus Kabob -Well the breasts and nipples are 2 different symbols so I cant really "blend" them. But I guess I could make the lines on the breasts thiner so they will match the lines of nipples a bit more.

Or you could make the lines on the body match the two-tone look of the breasts. Either works. I kinda go for a three or four tone look myself, but instead of clustering the shading along one contour of the body, I'll basically use a two tone look, with a few dark corners, and a couple of highlights. Always good to have highlights on the breasts.

And her legs just seem so long and the feet so small, imo.. good animation but that defect takes away from it..

Lookin good, man. I have to say I'm loving the seductive eyes but right now with her elbows and knees, her foreleg and forearm muscles overlap the rest of her arm/leg when they bend. Just shorten the line on the inside of the bend and I think it should be fine, unless you like it that way of course (sorry if that sounded sarcastic. it wasn't meant to)

Perhaps a more subtle color shift between breasts and nipples (lower saturation?) would fix that.

Like RP said, the legs are looking much too long and thin and the feet look too small. I'm thinking the arms could be a bit thicker too. Face looks kind of... flat? I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem right. The new shading on the breasts looks nice and fits with the rest of the model.

...hopefully that wasn't too blunt
