Setting the rescue of the Princess as a 1.0 could be an idea...but I honestly wouldn't. Unless your thinking of making the outside world stuff as sort of a expansion.

Also, an idea. At least one possible result for the guy characters could be (if they get beaten) is that their chained up and the Syndicate has several busty slave girls working him. You can either resist and continue the mission, or give in and join the syndicate.

Thanks for the input Kura. Since I'm mainly focusing on adding more scenes and introducing characters that I've had planned from the start, I'll see where it goes before I try to start calling it 1.0 then. Do you think that if I add say 3-4 new areas and 3 scenes or some thing to that effect, I can call it 0.1.1 or whatever, using the third digit for bugfixing patches?

I think there's actually a rule on that, in software development. Like, the first digit is for a complete set of fully-functional software, second digit is for major improvements, third digit for minor enhancements/fixes, etc. At least, I think it's something along those lines.

It would make sense for the "v1" to be released when the game is "completed", i.e. it contains everything you set out to do in your *initial* plan. Whatever ideas that came after that, but still during the development stage, can go in the v1.x. If you don't draw a line somewhere, you'll just keep on adding stuff to your to-do list, without ever reaching a milestone (believe me, I work in Project Management, I see this happening all day at the office...)

I see. I'm planning on releasing a bugfix patch sometime this weekend, which is pretty much finished but am also adding 2 more scenes as an incentive to actually download the damn thing, as I personally don't bother with patches that only fix bugs myself when it comes to h games, unless said bugs make the hgame utterly unplayable.

In other news, it seems like Irine's popularity went up. Guess people liked the idea of her being a closet nympho who still technically has her purity?

Haha, yeah, I guess Irine has a rather unexpected backstory. It's also one of the characters with the most interesting unique scene "villain", as most of the others are just there for petty personal grudges, whereas this one actually reveals just how widespread the Syndicate's influence really is.

Speaking of bug fixes, well I suppose it's not really a bug, but during the maid scene, the text mentions that she uses her hand to cup the "right breast", when in fact the CG shows her grabbing the left - I wonder how many people were too busy fapping to notice that Ok, so it's not a big deal. But now that I know this, this scene just isn't the same.....

Thanks Abysmal. I'm glad that people actually like the game considering I was a total design noob (and honestly, still am) when starting this project, especially compared to the ones with their own great RPGVX games. I'm also working and going to school but am often able to squeeze in time to work on it. Rest assured that I might slow down slightly after September ends, but will not stop until it's at least done how I like it. With 8 characters, I realize I've dug myself a hole but they are all fun to write for, and I'm glad the polls indicate that most of them are likable as well. I did what I could to construct characters off of the default girls there.
On a random note, Thyme was originally going to be that mousey blonde chick with the red hat but I decided against it, as this version has far more sex appeal.

Lol Ghost- normally I wouldn't even bother since currently my CG screen shots are full of inconsistencies, but that's an easy enough fix that I have no problem taking care of that when I get home.
On the other hand, one of the ' customers' you see in the first Chambers sequence will come back as a boss and I'm sure you can guess who. I really hope to implement more storyline elements as well as opportunities to get a feel for your selected character (huhuhu) as the game progresses.

Yeah, Irine's backstory really is awesome. It makes correcting her semi-prudishness even more satisfying. I won't say it makes her my favourite, but still, it's awesome.

... On the topic of your poll, you can kinda choose all 8 if you want, I don't know if that was intentional.

Also, any grammar concerns aside, you write these characters startlingly well. Not like ... a lit major or anything, by any chance?

Also, on the topic of H-games in RPG maker, did you have any recommendations other than Ker's "Harem"? Harem's still pretty demo status. Legend of Queen Opala is a pretty great game, but it's WAY too much game, and WAY too little H.

Yeah, true that. Elysium was decent too, having some storyline but also less H than I tend to want in an hgame (which was Seyzer's goal, incidentally). Also uses 3DCG. I really liked the Grrl Power project, more in terms of design than in writing, though it has some amazingly complicated scripts (to me) that I only wish I can do in the future.
For Japanese ones there are a ton, though, Anise and VH come to mind.
Not a lit major, though flattering, haha. Education actually, though I'm sure whatever license I'd have by the time I'm done would be likely revoked if they knew about this hgame, even if there's no particularly vanworthy stuff. ;/

Its a great foundation... building on it shouldn't be tough from what i've been seeing. You're obviously very intelligent and have a good mindset for creating scenarios and stories.

As for the game itself, theres really nothing i can suggest so i'll just cheer you on ^^

I would say if anything add more special events for each character and add a way to track your purity/morality

Thanks! I actually find my writing style kind of 'crude' in terms of word selection, but seeing the mostly male audience, I'm sure it does the job well. Besides, being too poetic about things probably doesn't suit the dark, gritty premise of the storyline, heh.

Also can't say that I knew about the poll thing. I really don't mind if people choose more than one character; I only wish that I could see what peoples' first and second choices are, out of sheer curiosity. XD

In my current test version, I have a way to track purity. One of my beta testers suggested including it in the status, which apparently isn't too hard, BUT I don't know how to do it depending on the character (as Purity is a separate variable for each character). So until then, it's likely going to be an NPC in several places.

In terms of special events, do you mean separate reactions such as the intro scene at the Chambers?
Those are actually my favorite to write, but unfortunately the most time consuming as well. Multiple characters in the game is one of its defining features though, in my opinion, so obviously I will continue to do these to some extent but continue to have the 'generic' H-scenes for ease of development progress. With all the different interactions among characters (and between them hopefully, in the future), I'm really looking to eventually make this the 'Star Ocean' of RPGVX H-games, lol. Or at least in the SO series' trademark depth of possible character interactions thanks to varying personalities.

Well its true that the special events take the longest and will probably actually impede you at times but they add a more three dimensional effect on the characters you are using. i love that comment about star ocean xD.

I would like to suggest adding a party system later in the far far future when the game allows such a thing. lol i would enjoy seeing a party group event in the case that your party actually falls against an enemy. Another perk is the ability to form relationships which will probably add to your goal.

Another suggestion i have is branching off into different areas for different characters. Lets say one girl goes about in one direction and ends up in a bar full of bandits while another takes a different path from what that character did and ended up in the bandit's treasury. That way the story for each can branch out into different routes.

I really wish i could help out somehow but i'm horrid at RPG VX :/

I'm willing to try and help in whatever way I can. I've got the time right now, as I have no social life (in the real world anyways :p) and next week I have 4 days off, and then the week following that 3. For the record though, I don't know anything about RPG Maker, although I'd LOVE to learn, as it would mean I could try and make my own game at some point. When I first learned of it, how I yearned to make a Megaman RPG!

Also, I would find it absolutely hilarious if it turned out that one of your students was on this site and had played your game. Potentially a bad thing, but hilarious nonetheless. Just imagine the reaction,...the look on their face...

Heh, let's hope a kid who hasn't gone through puberty yet won't be exposed to that kind of filth (let alone have to resort to VX games), but obviously, being realistic about it, they probably will anyway :\ At least if I remember how early I got to see stuff in my childhood. And unfortunately, even 'good' parents can still be outwitted by a clever and determined kid nowadays to some extent. It's pretty sad as I don't personally feel they need to see that stuff at such a young age--there's really all the time in the world to fap or have THOSE relations with other people later.

If you don't know anything about RPG Maker, then... we're mostly in the same boat, LOL. I can however, always use a storyline consultant--obviously as the developer I'll be the final word in what goes in the game and what doesn't, but it helps to have a person to check from an outside point of view as to whether or not something flows well.
