Ok, I got corta's file that kat posted earlyer, but I am no programmer, how the hell do I get nova out of that mess? I tired making a animation with the system he has on it now, while u can pick any of the characters for the animation I was making was cool, it took like 30 secs to load when ever I made a new keyframe. I gave up on it, and just want nova now, but how?

you'll be animating with what you see on the first frame (which is Samus)
- you shouldn't be touching the movie clips at all.

instead, what you need to do is insert this AS2 code into the first frame of the project.

that will give you nova when the movie is played.

yeah, but I believe if I try that, all the other pics will be in the symbol, and make flash lag like hell for me, I want a way just to pull out nova, and delete the other unused art in them to reduce lag. I make about 50 keyframes in a movie, I can't waste 30 secs on each one to load for me

you using my .fla or katsu's decompiled version?

His, but I used his stuff before, works fine. yours is cs5 most cases

could you give my version a try?
I suspect that all your problems stem from the way decompilers work.

or it might be something that I've done.. either way, I want to find out what it is.

Yup yup--cause her "wings" without the membrane between the bone parts look like blades. She's pretty freaky/hot. A screenshot or two from some of the few SC2 cutscenes with her in em would serve well as ideas!

Hey, Digfree! I realize this is majorly off topic, but...where is your signature from? It looks like it might actually be from an animated series, and, if so, i'd LOVE to know where from!

Thanks for that. Also the series is call "Panties and Stocking with Garterbelt"... pretty brilliant series... my fav anime. Crude funny humor, interesting art style. It's not for everyone, but if your into crazy fun, give it a try. Start from epi 1, and go up, but don't worry, they get MUCH better as they go, however the first ones are pretty great too.

Oh yeah quick story, the crude artsyle is due to the fact the jap. animators did it intentionally to mimic American animation style, aka cartoon network quality stuff. but don't let you throw you off. I like it XD

alright, kerri.. I'm honestly thinking of scrapping it.

my design: I hate it,
the hair: hate it, (and tracing a better set would take damn ages)
costume parts: you get the idea.

this hasn't gone very far in about a week.. so let's see what everyone else thinks..

Honestly? I think you're being too hard on yourself. Looks fine to me. But it's your call. If you aren't happy, then change it so you are. But as far as I'm concerned, this is a very good start.

yeah, I like her. Maybe if you give her more evil eyes, she won't look like liz woman.

Also, the vains on boobs are kinda a turn off, maybe keep the vains on her back. also, put some of that exoskeleton on her back, so when I make the bone wings, they will look like they attach.

Boots are pretty badass and sexy, should use them. If your worried about the hair, just add the segments to them (like on a worm, how it has those vertical lines, just spread them out more on her hair).

Maybe slightly darker shade of that brown for that exoskeleton too, maybe. But keep up the good work mate@

She's more pale than green. Also, I've always thought her quite attractive in a regal, omnipotent sort of way.

I think changing some colors would help the model be more kerrigan-ish.

So more of a paler green complexion, dark lips, maybe some make-up stuff around her eyes (like peach or zelda model has some) and then segmenting the hair.
Also, I think maybe taking an open toe to her boots design would work. Here's a few references I found that would prob help.

Nipple color i'm not sure about. With Kerrigan you could probably do anything and it look alright :/ Either purple based like after her armor, or something related to the brown bone parts (stiff boney nipple blades o-O) or more pinkish like a human, or greenish like her skin tone, or even like blackish like her lips.
