Same, I think she might fall under the category of a fetish as I'm not sure she's someone that the majority enjoys. Not a bad thing, just that people (myself included) can find her off-putting rather than sexy.

Doesn't matter what you think, even the Mario Bros 2 manual for the NES pegged Birdo as a man.

Huh, never read that.But whatever. it is what it is and nothing more to it. but in "mario and luigi superstar saga" for the GBA Birdo is a chick!

It... IS possible to sexualize birdo. Body wise, anyways.

The mouth is always going to be awkward, though. And technically, her/his mouth is a vagina.

Just to clarify because he looks like a guy doesn't mean he is a guy, nintendo have said that he is a transvestite.

Anyway I think a few people won't be able to forget that he is a guy, just because you have slapped a vagina and a pair breasts on him.
If you want to do it feel free, but I think you need to change his body structure so much to make him attractive that it would no longer look like Birdo.

'Officially' in SMB2 Birdo was called a guy and then later games switched this to a girl instead. Also, Birdo is technically a 'species' I think so there could be both male and female ones.

Okay maybe I'm the odd one out but...who the hell finds a pink dinosaur with a bow on its head attractive enough to want in this game? I played SSBM and i didn't think much of her in the least bit. I also don't understand why people get bogged down in sexuality...if its pink, wears a bow on it's head, and looks to have not even an ounce of testosterone in its entire body...I'm going to presume ( key word here ) it's a girl...or a futa. You all shouldn't put so much weight onto what someone else says...sometimes you take it for face value and...you know, what you see is what you get.

Birdo, is actually a male, shigeru miyamoto says she was conceived as a male, and that she was changed in to something more lady-like (still not female) for the American version of the game "doki doki panic" which i believe is "mario land 2"

anyways, HE can still be womanized and made into a hot character for the game i believe any artist should give it a try we dont know what they might come up with!
