Dark Forest (Original Concept)

This is everything I'd hoped the project would lead to Renara,
This whole thing is brilliant!

Figured I'd hand over my original plan for the plot...
BUT-- As for everything before the Dark Woods, you have absolutely gone beyond my planning and made it so much better.

Here was my original plan for the Dark Woods:

Dark Woods:
After Krystal "defeats" RedEye, it goes a cutscene that begins with Link and Zelda in the clouds.
After the sex scene, Zelda says something (along the lines of: now we are even) and Link suddenly falls through the clouds,
One funny scene where you see a small figure of link, screaming as he falls from the cloudy sky and slowly to the forest (Dark Woods).
Wakes up and is discovered by Midna, who then fucks him. Then after fucking him, turns him into a wolf (as she likes to do), and he becomes her new pet.
As Link changes to a wolf he drops his Master Sword and it remains in that spot (or is taken by midna) for Krystal to find later, which is the whole point of the cutscene (the master sword becomes a key that is the only way out of the woods).
Returns back to Krystal in the cave area just passed RedEye with the sign saying Dark Woods.
Upon entering the Dark woods, Krystal gets ambushed by a pack of wolfmen, and she is thrown in prison (The scene where she is fucked by Link as a wolf).
The rest I had nothing planned, and i love the idea of a temple in the forest.
The only other thing i had planned was getting out of the woods, which there is a stone archway with runes carved in it, sealed with a stone door. Infront of it is a stone slate that has a blade sized slot in it, where the master sword must be put inside to open the stone door, and then be able to leave the forest.
The door would then lead to wherever--I was planning the Mushroom Kingdom at the time.

History of Dark Woods:
Dark Woods is a dimensional paradox, in which the forest has melded with the Twilight Zone that Midna returned to in the end of "twilight Princess".
Midna clearly has a thing for wolves, otherwise she would have never turned link to one, so the inhabitance of the Twilight Zone are Wolf-like Demon Men that she is obsessed with and fucks in large groups often. She is the only woman in the twilight zone, so all sex scenes there will be of Midna fucking large groups of wolves, or wolves fucking Krystal (thankful that there is someone else to fuck).

And that was my plan, do what you want with it! (but i'm sure that explains some of the scenes)

Mushroom Kingdom

I Forgot about my ideas for Mushroom Kingdom:

The only thing I had planned for that Area, is Krystal talks to Mario and he asks her to save Princess Peach for him cause he is sick of doing it (this conversation would have probably ended with Mario fucking Krystal) - Krystal then must go into the castle to save Princes from Bowser.

The plan was, that Kyrstal walks in to a very small version of Bowser's Castle, fucks a guard to get to Princess Peaches room (goomba or koopa troopa or something else) then upon talking to Peach standing infront of the bed, she tells Krystal to hide quick because bowser is coming. Kyrstal hides, behind the bed where you can see her peeking. And Bowser fucks her, after he is done Krystal (if she has enough experience) can choose to "defeat" bowser to save the princes, by fucking him to exhaustion. Krystal and Peach then leave together, but along the way back to mario, Peach keeps getting fucked by everything along the way (toads, goombas, ect.) until finally she makes it to mario where he fucks her and gives Krystal some item to get to the next world/place.
This world I was excited for, cause there is alot of characters from the Mario Bros world that Krystal could fuck that could be interesting.

And that was all my plans, and why there were scenes that didn't seem to fit. Now you know how they were going to.

Well hello there PlayShapes, great to see you here!

Hmm, well I'd certainly like to try and stick to your original story idea as much as possible, it is your game after all even if you've released freely! What you've described does certainly explain the presence of the other characters; I thought maybe you'd just decided to try some new stuff and thrown it in as well, but it makes sense now!

The idea that the Dark Woods is some kind of strange dimensional link is certainly interesting, as it would be cool to be able to explore two or more very different worlds (and possibly a few different locations within them) at will, looking for clues/inventory items/lots-of-sex :D

I'm not sure my unofficial v0.2 is worthy of great anticipation, but I'm hoping it will serve as a good starting point for the future!


Oh, one question I have for any knowledgeable folks; anyone here know of any good ways to make a Flash file available as a "repository"? Usually on collaborative projects you would have a place where anyone can dip into the latest files, take a copy, and produce new content for inclusion. However, Flash seems to favour its great big all-in-one .fla file. I'm perfectly happy to act as a manager of the file in that regards, by manually including new content provided by others, but it would be great to be able to do it a bit more fluidly in case I get swamped with paid work or something which sometimes happens!

I'm hoping that the ActionScript coding for v0.3 will cover our needs for the future though, at which point content-creation ought to be the main task, which is nice and easy for people to work on separately and then combine together.

To my understanding we would need to be on a network and have a hard drive hooked onto said network. but making a network via the internet isn't a very safe thing in my mind so to me the best idea would so make separate scenes and pieces(sound action-script etc.) and then have one person that knows what their doing put them together as we go along. problem with this then is how long it will take to finish parts and also could lead to misunderstandings if everyone working on the project doesn't keep informed with each other.

Evening, chaps. Thought I'd dip in to answer the repository question.

If you're looking to work on a project with many others, the best way to go would be with a free SVN host (or something similar). Due to the nature of a flash file however, you can't exactly split it up into seperate sections for editing (to my knowledge, I may be wrong!).

Regardless, there are other ways to get your file out there for others to work on. Perhaps by passwording a seperate directory on your web server and periodically updating the flash file there; Which has its limitations, now that I think about it. Perhaps Google Wave might be a decent way to share your code with other budding Flash programmers.

All-in-all, it's rather hard to collaborate on a flash file without constant communication. I'll throw up a few links for you to look at, anyway.

yes there is a way in CS4 (not sure about 3) it can be split up into scenes. Although this file is already big for a flash file so maybe one of us may have to set up a separate hard drive and set it up as a server for community use for the flash.

Hosting isn't a problem, I have something like 2gb storage and can set up SVN quickly. Isn't always the fastest host in the world but it is very flexible :)

There is a file type for a Flash Project, which appears to be a folder structure, but I'm not sure how exactly it's organised, or how easy it would be to convert the existing .fla into it. The .fla file does get pretty huge, I think it's touching around 110mb once compacted then compressed, closer to 400mb while working on it (not sure why that happens).

I'll investigate this later today I think since I doubt I'll have time to do any proper work on LoK, but tinkering with file-types I might find an easy way to do this! I agree that constant communication is needed, even if we do manage to use SVN or whatever.

Reading the Mushroom Kingdom scene described by the Godly PlayShapes I had a little practical idea...Sadly I do know nothing of Flash programming, so I'm sorry I won't be able to help this project in that matter, but what I'll try to do is encourage you all and share my little thoughts and ideas with the purpose of help just a bit.

My idea was that we could take advantage of all the work already done with Bowser's Castle, and incorporate here somehow, since the scene described by PlayShapes and the work already done in BC is pretty similar.
Attaching to the plot described for LoK, Krystal meets Mario and he sends her to rescue Peach. We could insert BC work making that Krystal gets pwnd at some point, maybe because she has not enough Exp, and Mario must free her so she can continue her tale an rescue Peach herself. in fact this could be incorporated as an Easter Egg, for those who have cheated a lot during the game, they won't have problems and will skip this part, but for those who have played correctly, or cheated just enough will find this extra scene...
The idea must be developed a lot more, I know, I can give a deeper try if someone says so... But this way we could have two games finished with one (kill two birds with one rock?)
What do you think?

I'm gunna be really selfish here and ask for stuff that I can't help with. I have no idea how to do flash stuff, even with the help you gave Renara. I'm really sorry :(

Anyway, I was thinking about something to add to the plot, but whether you go with it or not is your choice:
It starts off the way PlayShapes has designed it i.e. Krystal has to get the stone to get into the dark woods, she gets raped along the way etc. (and if you could add a gangbang scene with the sharpclaw dudes hiding in the caves that would be awesome :D) When she gets through the forest (being raped by the wolves with 2 dicks along the way, as you do) she finds fox injured by a pipe.

Krystal runs to fox, but then loads of goombas come out through the pipe, 2 take and injured fox away and 5 stay to rape krystal (if you haven't got it yet, I'm a fan of gangbangs ;) ). After the goombas are satisfied and asleep, krystal runs through the pipe and enters the msuhroom kingdom, where she meets mario. Mario tells her to fuck off or whatever when she asks him to save fox, as he needs to save the princess as well but cba, so he sent luigi. Krystal then finds luigi, luigi fucks her and then she realises he's no help and continues to the castle, "Satisfying" all the enemies in between her and the castle. At the gates, Donkey kong is guarding, and she fucks him and he opens the gates. Then there are various rooms with various orgies goin on, some of which she can join, but eventually she finds bowser's room. Peach is there getting drilled by bowser (and his kids if you want, but that is kind of disturbing.... meh, what do I know?) and bowser then see's krystal, whom he then drags in and fucks with peach, and covers them in cum. He then faints through loss of fluids, and peach escapes (after an AWESOME lesbian scene with krystal, eh? Eh? ;) ).

Krystal finds a note from Ganondorf (who can be gay if you wish, but, as for me, if he is I'd like NO GAY SEX SCENES PLEASE) saying thanks for the sex slave (fox), and she goes through another door and finds a TriForce portal, taking her to Hyrule (yes, I'm a nerd :P ). Then she makes her way to ganadorfs castle, having a lesbian scene with Zelda and Samus (Samus is there on holiday), both seperate and together, and getting raped etc. She then gets to Ganondorfs castle, eventually finds him, turns him straight, he gets back together with his long lost wife, krystal get fox back, and then you decide.

If you could add Rosalina in that would be brilliant :) .

Appreciate the ideas! We'll probably have a good brainstorming on how to combine everything and plan next-moves etc.

As for release dates though I doubt we can really do that; the project is likely to be very sporadic with people contributing bits and pieces. Obviously we'll be as structured as possible, but I've been involved in such projects before, we could set deadlines but I guarantee they will not be met! Not for a lack of hard-work, but distractions always tend to crop up and get in the way, but hey, it happens! :D

I've set-up a mailing list though on the main-page, which will inform people when the major releases occur. The forums meanwhile will be the best place to get an idea of progress, and maybe to grab pre-release versions or at least preview new scenes.

Okay, I've looked at the Flash project file and it isn't /exactly/ what I've been hoping for, but at the same time it may provide what we need. Basically it just manages a folder of files, these can be .fla or .as (ActionScript 3.0) files really.

Now, currently we've got one huge .fla, which is fine, but means it's going to be hard for multiple people to work on. What I'm thinking instead is this:

Game-engine code will exist as .as files, and be attached a .fla file which will group the project together.
Characters will have a .fla file each, containing their body-parts, as well as character templates, and basic animations (standing, sitting, walking, etc.).
Interactions will have their own .fla file each as well, importing character body-parts, action-script and so-on, and combining them together into the sex-animations and other relevant interactions.
Scenes (locations), will have their own .fla files.

Other assets such as sounds and music /should/ be externally linkable, i.e - they don't need to be contained within a .fla file, but can still be used by one, and ultimately built into the finished .swf file as normal.

Linking these files together is going to be quite complicated, and organising it will likely be a large undertaking. Since I'm hoping to upgrade to ActionScript 3.0 anyway, then it will make sense to do this during that part of the project.

Hopefully the end result is that people only need to work on one or two smaller .fla files in order to add new content, with the end result being that we simultaneous development will be a lot easier, as a Flash Project with such a layout should be compatible with SVN. A new format like this will be a lot more complicated, and as a result will have more of a learning curve, but hopefully we can put together a tutorial to make it easy for everyone, as it will be worth it, especially as the game grows in size.

Butting in again to explain how to connect to any form of SVN host if/when you get one set up.

All you really need is a client like TortoiseSVN and a little understanding. Once the server is set up, you configure TortoiseSVN to use the new server parameters/usernames/passwords and you should be all set to go. Because Tortoise intergrates with the windows environment so seamlessly, collaberation on different projects is actually fairly easy due to automatic content updating. If you've ever used Dropbox, they're rather similar in the way an SVN client retrieves new data. Anyways, their website will be able to explain more than I can. See below!

Sadly I'm someone else that can't animate, i have no experiance in flash, however I can help with contributing ideas and brainstorming for the plot and game play. For now I just look forward to seeing Renara revamp the game and fix the bugs, take things one step at a time you know?

Eck, I'm living up to my previous comment on setting deadlines, and running late again. I'll see where I'm at tomorrow/Monday and maybe just post as-is as a lot of the things remaining are just minor odds and ends that some of you guys might be happy to help with, besides which the new file-structure is more pressing really given the number of people interested!

Renara you dont have to rush it but a beta is a good idea to look for bugs while keeping in mind that its still a beta but, I think not many people understand how long it takes to make something in flash so im going to lay down an example a minute frame by frame takes roughly 2-3 days no renara is editing and adding things to finish v1 into v2 so i personally don't expect anything till the end of next week at the earliest. and also Renara a complete one is better than an incomplete one : D

Hey there.

About the release dates stuff, it's all right to put something like "Hopefully by 2012" or something like that. The main work process usually takes very long and there will be bugs, things we want to revise and things that we think is not good enough but find out later that it can be used.

So personally, I think having schedule planned out for what the "staff" should do and by when is more important to get it done, considering the plan of what should be in the game by v0.2 and v0.3 has already been decided, so we can just say "It's out!" when all the stuff is in and mostly debugged (Since chances are there will be a few bugs that wasn't found that players will always find).

btw, from what I have seen before, release dates are always pressed for by fans and all, but if it puts unnecessary pressure that results in unhappiness and lower quality work, it has to be controlled too (With the typical sayings of "It will be out when it's out" and "Here, we say by <Some date> but it's not confirmed"). It's too nice but can't be helped. (You are not getting paid to work on this.)

So no rush. :D

Two things I'd might like to see;

An inventory, one of the things that interest me in this project, is that it reminds me of Escape from Monkey Island which had an interesting use of inverntory items to solve puzzles that progress the plot, and adds a certain challenge and entertainment to certain niche of people. I'm not too sure what items to include, or types of puzzles to make, (I'll try and brainstorm some, and see if I can do something.) now I'm not asking for atomic Toasters. (MDK2 reference. But that would be kinda awesome.) But I think we could have some fun for it. And useful things like a soap that can dissolve cum stains and dissipate, rather than walking in a slow, labouring fashion in a defeated/shy stroll serveral scenes away from the Zora's Domain.

A health, .. well really a stamina or endurance bar. It's more of a visual item that represents how much cum she's covered in, I was thinking of making it like Fox's Hitpoints in the gamecube game; Star Fox Adventures with the little Fox head, that's split into slices. Except blue to match Krystals colour scheme.
