For some reason I just looked at the original posting of the LoK game on Newgrounds, and I saw a few negative reviews saying that "this version", which I thought was the original, had cut out a lot of minigames and mechanics. Are they just confusing some spinoffs for earlier versions of the main game, or what?

You can view and compare both versions (Playshapes' original 0.1 and the LoK team's 0.2) on the LoK main page. There isn't a whole lot of difference in the actual content/scenes, so they probably are thinking of some other version.
