Exactly, adding even the SLIGHTEST possibility of losing in a porn game is like walking off a cliff, its not good to do.

We've already confirmed there'll be no game-over screens, or possibility of really "losing" the game. We may do multiple endings, or "set back" scenes if you fail at a particular point (some task or puzzle or whatever), but you can guarantee that if you do it'll be sexy. We don't currently have plans for anything like that just yet though as we're focused on getting a single storyline done with the option of adding multiple paths slotted into it later on.

You know, no one wants this game to be something like IWBTG, I think it's perfect the way Renara said. No gameovers, maybe failing at a puzzle or stuff like that just makes you just go back, out of it, dk, pretty sure they'll think an awesome way.

And in some of them, especially the ones that emulate an "adventure" style game the Game Overs or Bad Ends consist of the protaganist getting captured and punished/abused. In terms of actual gameplay I agree, ordinary Game Over screens are pointless. But sexy ones might be fun

I totally agree with this but i think the only way it'd really "work" or sync in with the game would be to...(this leads to the other topic of multi-diff ways to have sex) have krystal have vaginal sex and get shot full of cum SO many times as to get prego or have sex with Scales (and have a different ending making krystal his sex slave or something...like jabba the hutt did to leia) and "basically" get consent (a warning / pop up appears or a dialogue box with scales giving yourself to him or something) from the viewer and then cut to a looping sequence of her full on prego and having sex or joining the Sharpclaws or anything i just said in any order to that end...and it can be at any point in the game so i couldn't see it being a game over...it could be the "slut" ending for all i care ( i might'ov guessed it dont tell me xD) but it does seem cool, to me, at least lol...heres the pic that initially turned me on to this idea...

Though I'm a new member and may not have much say in this, I'm not that big a fan of the GAME OVER part.

What I don't understand is the game plot. Krystal's movement is by the player, but the 'rape' actions are within the player's control as well. Isn't that the whole point of a porno game? Player gets to do whatever he wants to the subject for whatever reason.

If it's too much of an adventure where there is a possibility of a GAME OVER, it somehow reminds me of the game Zelda.

I just like the idea of Krystal being the victim in this game.

i know that my idea wont be as popular as id like it to be, i know, lol but to me personally its worthy enough to swim upstream with my posts xD

(In reality)** If you shot like 10 loads (or even like five lol) inside of a girl you'd be damn sure you prolly have that girl knocked the fuck up. With that being said id say make the number of shot loads up to like 25 or 30 (depending on how many enemies you encounter in the game) and if you go past the "point of no return" you see a scripted sequence of a prego krystal being sexed up by Sharpclaws. As i said earlier for all i care this could be the end of the game where Krystal could achieve the title of Brood Mother of the Sharpclaw Clan / Faction. You could blend the two previous ideas together and make it so that you get the "prego ending" only if you took in enough sperm through the whole game from one certain faction or race, which would make a more sensible way to put it into the game, since the game would be over by that point! (a idea i thought up while typing ).

Are there many paid porn games? Only one I know of really is BoneTown, and it's shit; entertaining enough if you just cheat to unlock all the scenes, but it isn't worth playing at all, and certainly not worth paying for IMO. There's certainly promise for if they make a second game though.

On the issue of Krystal getting pregnant; remember she's the wrong species to get pregnant from anyone except maybe Fox (though I bet he's impotent which is why he's a bit of an ass), so it can be taken either way really.

For those new to the thread though you probably want to read this post. To clarify it though; the "set back" scenes may include things like pregnancy (perhaps from a tentacle monster?) as a means of "failing" a task and having to try again, but as with ordinary scenes if it qualifies as fetish content then it'll be filtered unless you want to see it. If such special scenes are filtered then we can always fall back to something generic like Krystal passing out from exhaustion and waking up later to have another go. As people have mentioned though, it's a porn game, so any time you fail you're not likely to mind much as you'll be failing in a sexy way, and only getting set back a small amount.

Our aim is to make the game challenging enough to give your wrist a break while you go around finding new scenes to enjoy, but not have any point where you'll get completely stuck. Chances are failing a task might result in a hint to help you if it's a particularly challenging task/puzzle/whatever, or at the very least you'll know what you're up against for the next time around. There'll be no particular reward for beating every challenge on the first go, as we want people to be able to just play it their way and have fun

That was me giving ya'll a complement because we all know the ridiculously high expectations this game has. The porn games out there that Ive found that are actually GOOD are few and far between (and they are all scripted one liners) and to say that your all's game will be the king of the mountain and setting a standard for these kinds of games is a pretty big accomplishment imho (its a community service xD ty for getting me off! lol). The game will get like...90% of all the fetishes and everything that we all have which is totally awesome to fap to for a very very long time

I like the idea of Good girls going rogue and hooking up with the baddie leader or w/e and making babies ( showing her commitment and her willingness to stay with the baddies ) is a big red button in my head lol. It would seem really cool for a ending scene ( whoever can make babies with her krystal ) to have her have something baking in her oven . By you saying that its going to be in the game through a filter you have already made me pretty damn happy lol.

I think we have all come to the conclusion (a few posts ago...) that cutting the game short with game overs are bayedd fur buiznuzz. What i proposed wouldn't be a game over at all seeing as it'd just be a different ending to the game or a uber sex scene (Which has been said to be the set back scenes). The last thing you would ever want is a game which gets you so frustrated that you give up eventually.

K Fox and the Magic Sword has some really good scenes especially the part she gets double-penetrated by the black wolf (wish you don't lose from that). However, before I knew how to defeat two wolves at the same time, I was getting pwned by them over and over again. Eventually I just gave up, and completed the game only days later.

I've fapped to K Fox more than a few times...especially trying to get her health low enough to give herself up to scales as an offering xD. I like the idea of having at least a SENSE of consequence for not paying attention in the game and getting plowed for it, and in later releases of LoK games it'll still be a even more hardcore sex scenes, so everybody wins. Its overwhelmingly obvious that nobody wants to outright end the game mid fap which, in K Fox's case, is why you find the cheats to make it longer. When Jessez83 made this thread idk what he was trying to accomplish with it but ill reiterate what my mom once said to me "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything". I don't want to step on anyone's toes here but when my ideas are followed by "i don't like game overs none D:" it leaves little to no room to build off of.

If i didn't like the idea of game overs (like most of the people posting here) id present something Ive been thinking about for the game and throw it in a post to let you peeps mull it over so that someone like myself could counter with another legit post to build off of it in the hopes that the mods and ads like the ideas. Whoever came up with the awesome idea of sexy set back scenes for the game probably read the posts here and said "Oh well nobody wants to die in the game but a few people posting do seem to like consequences for their actions sooo ( just a guess ).....we'll have a tentacle monster get her prego in her egg-o if they don't have enough [Stamina]". Its a great example of [Argument] and [Counter-Argument] and the [Counter-Argument] built off the few posts on here in favor while still making sure no one will die. Id like to graciously thank whoever came up with the idea to try and walk the middle of the road for me and people like me.

This is a very interesting topic and as such I like everyone's views on the gameovers, as such I shall add my own view:
From a gamer's point of view, I'd say that a game-over is always part of the game, however I feel that a true game-over for this game wouldn't really fit in, the set-backs however are a good idea for a replacment to the whole game over thing because they fit in with the game style and would satisfy both party's. The alternate endings are a good idea to add because you'll always have people thinking 'What If...' and I like to see games that change depending on the actions you do and their consequences, plus it'll be fun to try and fin all the alternate endings there are in the game because every gamer doesn't stop untill they've done everything. On a different topic, would the LoK team like idea's for alternate endings?
