You guys are arguing the nature of color. Really? Who'd'a thunked a red Krystal would piss off so many people. Also, I just noticed, her face looks EXACTLY like a Picasso profile.

I'm arguing the colours because I only see purple hair on her head and the rest of her fur is pink and that I still say pink is light red and in no way connected to purple.
As for the whole idea of "Ruby", that doesn't piss me off. It's just that it's a really stupid and unoriginal idea that would be a waste of time to work on. There is no sister to Krystal named Ruby and it's certainly as hell not the girl from the screen shot. More than anything, it's an extremely lazy idea that takes away from the game.

Um, considering there is a blue filter on the television screen in the picture, I'm sure there's some chromatic aberration. Either way, it doesn't matter. And as I said in the post with the Krystal re-color. It's so hilariously easy to do that it's trivial. Don't worry about it. If anyone wants badly enough to see her, they will just decompile the flash, recolor her, and enjoy it.

I really don't like locking topics just because people got their panties in a twist about some aspect of it, when the topic's original idea isn't a bad one, I'd be more inclined to trim out a load of the posts.

I can guarantee that Ruby won't be in v0.3, but if you really want other Cerenian females then we can hardly stop people making some once v0.3 is out, though I'd like to think they'd do something extra after re-colouring to make a more unique character in the long run

agreed to the last post, i was hoping for a character switch some point through the game.

Suggesting that half way thru the game we have ruby arrive in another plane to search for the lost crew, and goes thru something similar to crystals experience =P

We STILL don't need any pink Krystal. Because it's still a completely stupid idea. There's no such character as Ruby. She's just a recolour of Krystal. If we DID want to have another female Star Fox character to take her place, Katt would be just about the only one.

I really don't see the need for a Ruby. I recolored v0.3 Krystal for myself to see if I could pull off those colors easily and if they'd look good...
And she doesn't. It'll take me a decent amount of time because I'd have to recolor every body part on her to get that, which I don't really want to do right now.
Let's just keep the idea of the blue vixen as blue, you'll have other shit you can do with her appearance in the future, but even in that future I don't see a recolored Krystal.
