hello people. First time posting here, just starting to see all you have put together so far.

Saw the game a few weeks ago, and man you people have really done a great job. There's a point I'd like to comment on, and somebody already mentioned in a previous comment in this thread. Krystal walking around tends to be more of a bother having to walk several screens at such slow pace.

I'm thinking, instead of making her walk faster, why not have a "quick jump" button? Not to go from, let's say, house to zora lake, but to screen to screen. Krystal's movement is good when you want to go to the middle of the screen, but not when you want to go from the General to deliver the stone.

I'm not really well versed with flash -actually I just barely have a less than standard knowledge- so no idea how hard this would be instead of just speeding up her pace

Hm... I like that idea.
Or maybe an option to press the space bar to run, to move at a faster pace.
Screen jumping seems a bit too.. I dunno. It just doesn't give as much... interaction, I suppose?

we are going to add a run option to move faster and at certain points there will be a jump to option using a world map because believe it or not its going to get big.

Ebon & I both agree that Scales REALLY needs to screw Krystal. I mean, he's giving her a stone that allows her to leave, and I think that he'd be more of a guy to actually make her work for it. I think just a BJ isn't enough. Going back to the original characteristics of the Sharpclaw mentioned by Ebon, that even in the canon Gamecube Adventure version, they were clearly mentioned as greedy.
They did enslave, but you really had to grease yourself up before you're actually able to squeeze yourself under that fence, so to say.
I know if I was Scales, I wouldn't give her up easily. I mean... would any of you?
Do you think animation on this is possible?

I'd say this is a great idea, and originally, I thought a deep throat just wasn't enough--and switching poses should be very fluid, and possible. But I can't tell you how they're possible yet, it has to do with that "tons of other top secret stuff" Ren stated that we're keeping quiet about (:DD)

(need to see all the female characters be fore i decide) The location is the beach area and its a possible option i have that you could do during a quest. the basic thing is that your participating in a beach body contest and if you fill out a certain conditions you will be able to see krystal plus 3-4 other girls get raped by the crowed of overly teased males and; i cant really say much more than that because what the point of playing the game if you know everything before hand :).

I already suggested this /just/ before v0.2 came out (in a bug thread IIRC), but even just a 'jump to next screen' button would be awesome. It would also only activate if you had the right stuff to unlock going there.

Imagine walking right. Instead of holding down right for 5 min to get from scales to the caves you'd hit the jump forward button (while facing right) like 6-7 times in a row and suddenly be at the part where the sharpclaw lifts you by your tail to let you pass.

Not sure if you guys discussed it yet, but if he does end up hammering away at Krystal, may I suggest a position?

Why not have the brute trape both of her wrists in one large hand and lift her off of the ground, he then forces her back against one of the stone walls and penetrates her. As the general begins to speed up and add force to his wild thrusting a crack could appear within the stone wall Krystal is against, displaying the General's brutality to the player.

Think it has any merit?

Also When in doubt find the merc with the mouth.

Sounds a tad complex, ne?
I'm sure they'll work something to make sure she gets a beat-down from the General. -purrs-

With the Greedy rule in place (for the Scales) I also believe there is always an exception to a rule, having a scene where a scalie simply pleasures Krystal could be a rare occurrence but not completely out of the picture... and if you don't agree with that, Maybe after he gets Krystal incredibly wet, he has his way with her... XD

That would be nice. I'm unsure if the bodies will allow this type of configuration, though--mainly because she's not made to bend her back. It is of course, totally and completely possible. Not to disappoint you, but the only pleasing you might see Krystal doing to herself will probably be done with her hands.

well, I'm thinking 2, no make that 3 options.

1.- Pleasure herself. Either hands, either that sexy self licking from VT, or have Scales giving her a huge dildo to warm up for him

hmmm, yeah. Just remembering Krystal isn't made to bend her back.

I was imagining Krystal on her back, ankles on her shoulders, with a Liz girl in a "sitting position" slightly above her. THey are taller, or just make one taller and have the tail curling down... though now that I think about it, their tails don't bend like that either, do they?

Hi again, guys and gals (If there are any. :D)

I see things have been pretty active lately.

One thing I have to comment about bending animations and stuff is that they are HARD.
To be exact, to nicely animate the bending of the torso means that the same image for the torso
usually CANNOT be reused and the artists have to draw out a new one for each frame.

The easiest way to do a bending animation, FRAME BY FRAME aka FBF.
It's the easiest because you draw every frame and it can't go wrong once its played at a constant
(Relatively fast) frame rate.
Of course the more frames you draw, the smoother it will be. But it means MORE WORK.

Plus this is a collaborative project, so different artists will have different perceptions of flexibility.
So it means that if one artist draws something in a certain way, future artist will have
to follow the standards of the first artist or change everything to make the art look similar.

The most flexible way to do this that I know of is Bone animation WITH Mesh morphing.
This becomes something 3D like, where the bending is animated by joints of the backbone,
followed by the points on the screen moving such that there's no overlapping of the torso over itself.

Why this method would be good is because even if different artists were to do bending, the art of
the body's flexibility will look similar to all other versions of the bending, unlike FBF.

Of course this means that the computer running this game has to be of fairly high specs as these
computations are not easily done. Not to mention there's Physics and all the other aspects to consider
for it to look good.

This method is VERY hard to implement, unless you have been at it for years and have a source code written for it.

So the best way for the team is to AVOID any bending animations that are not related to the main joints of the body;
examples would be feet, knees; legs, hands; arms, shoulders; and neck; which is the way the team has been doing
since the start of this.

Please note that the things that I have written is based off a rough sketch of how 3D bodies have been done
and animated, which may be inaccurate at parts, so feel free to correct me if anything is described wrongly and
don't quote me.

Back to the topic, I wanted to ask the team about how they feel about cut scenes; considering the fact cut scenes can
skip straight to the various animations with a flash of the screen, so things like bending animations won't need to be
done and hopefully allow more different positioning of sex.

I agree with the hotness of the three scene-types outlined above.

For an easier to visualize model on where joints are; think back to kid's dolls. The cheep ones with those plastic-ball sockets that were a total #### to pop back in to place correctly. The kind that when you took a barbies head off left what looked like a shrunken featureless head in it's place.

The 'dolls' here have the same joints more or less. Though like a Mr. Potato head they can have parts slipped in easily to replace them; giving you various different 'hands' and facial features.
