Need Writers?

I'll say it right now, I have "played" through the Krystal games many times, my favorite so far being v.02. But I did admire the "Kay Fox" interpretation because I felt it made an attempt at a larger cumulative story. I'm not sure if this was intentionally written or not but I recognized sub-plot involving the wolves and legendary sword. I thought "Perhaps they plan to use it for some dastardly plot?" ((Maybe death to all Sharpclaws! )) Anyways, I think that a good backstory and evolving, dynamic plot is necessary for a top notch game. Be it adult or contemporary. That being said I would like to offer my services as a writer. I have won a few awards for some of my speech and poetry work, but am interested in exploring slightly more "exciting" waters with my writing. Please let me know if you would be interested in utilizing my skills.

I've inquired too. It seems they've got what they need, though I have no official confirmation of that.

What I really like about this forum is the sense of community and collaboration. I'd love to see some kind of round-table where the community of chosen writers can discuss what happens down the line and the rest of the community can chime in too. That would be a lot of fun!

hmm....while i don't see us taking any more official writers onto the team for now (sorry dollspit I'd honestly forgotten you'd offered, i'm guessing this was close to when the board was just starting up?) I'm all for all creative writers, staff or not, tossing about ideas for the plot. so far we've followed playshapes loose outline, but we are about at the end of what he had in his head so we'll start getting into 100% original storyline soon.

P.S. if we use your ideas we promise to put you in the credits for storyboard.

Don't be discouraged! Most of the LoK team has always seemed to be open to new ideas as well as constructive criticism. They don't shoot ideas down, but the likelihood of those ideas being implemented into the game especially high. They're currently applying themselves to PlayShape's initial concept, but who knows what's possible down the road? With all the new (and non-Nintendo) characters being integrated into the game, the need for new and different scenarios is inevitable.

i feel like kinda an asshole now, we got omega on the team but forgot about you. I don't think we'll be taking any more writers for a while which is why i support the open storydiscussion thread for you and warethewolf to sort of lead in terms of ideas, me and omega can give you guys feedback and hammer out the finer details. Of course you two can always appeal to Ren about being team members. Right now though there's not a hell of a lot to do for writers, kind of a good thing since I'm busy enough with college work.

Right now though there's not a hell of a lot to do for writers

I pump stuff out all the time, to no ends in particular. Anytime I'm at my computer (which isn't very often), I'm writing. It's kind of a pseudo hobby. So even if there was a lull, I'd still be chugging stuff out for future use. I write for the hell of it but I'd be very happy if I had a reason to do so.

That's not a bad Idea, while waiting for your money to come out of the ATM, you can pull up some porn, maybe jerk it in public, invite other people over to jerk it with you, or who knows, get sucked off :O.
