A Beta Krystal cameo?

I'm just going to start by blaming you guys. I blame Playshapes for starting this whole trend, I blame the awesome effort on the part of the team to forward this idea, and most of all I blame each and every one of you who've made a veritable encyclopedia of all the various debaucheries committed upon our fair blue vulpine maiden.
What I'm blaming you all for is the nagging urge to procure and play Starfox Adventures that reached fruition the other day, and the subsequent late nights playing the ever living daylights out of it. In short, it's really more thanking than blaming, but let's not split hairs.

It also launched me into an afternoon of idle research, already being familiar with Dinosaur Planet when it was still going to be Dinosaur Planet...which in turn led me to the conclusion that the Dinosaur Planet Krystal is pretty cute, and a bit forgotten due to her beta nature. In truth, I kind of like her better than Krystal's current design in a way, which is why I propose a homage.

I'm no artist though, so I don't really have the ability to contribute anything more than food for thought...but at the very least I wonder what everyone else thinks about Beta Krystal (and for that matter, our Proto-Fox--Sabre). Images to follow for those not in the know, though I imagine most of you already are.

I'm sure the design would get tweaked into something if it was actually implemented, for now just an idea really. She could be the abused background scenery of a map, a not-getting-raped-every-5-seconds foil to Krystal's own debauched tale, or maybe just an NPC event in a spring or something along the way. She could even make passing allusion to mirroring Krystal's role in the story as she looks for Sabre while giving Krystal tips, though if there's a need for an NPC like that it's probably already been figured out.
...But it really wouldn't even have to be that involved, just a piece of scenery or an alternate costume for Krystal could be enough to satisfy the novelty of it. Nonetheless, I'd still love to see what turned up if someone got particularly bored and tried sketching her out.

True, there's nothing that says Krystal has to be the only furry in a land dominated by lizard people. And there's plenty of room in the background here and there. So anyone up to make a sprite?

She is rather cute, though she kinda looks a little odd with no hair- but that might just be me. I wonder what we could name her (if she was in the game along with Krystal), since it might be odd to call her... well, Krystal.

It might be fun to have Sabre somewhere too.

I'll admit the no hair thing kinda stood out to me too at first, it was only seeing her ig sprite that I started taking particular interest, actually (Which is admittedly pretty lolirrific, but that's not the draw) That being said, the hair thing isn't all that noticeable after the initial shock of it contrasted with the Krystal we know. I actually found a Picture of her that I think is a great translation, and perhaps more in line with what we'd find in the game, attached.

As far as Sabre goes, his character design is a bit more complex, but if he were made there are plenty of ways he could be slipped in. At the end of a rumor(s) as to where fox is "Oh, I just saw em transportin' a fox like yerself into the dungeon" (as some catch all hook that would encompass Beta-Krystal, Sabre, Fox, or probably even Wolf...for some reason with an odd accent). Or maybe just a safe haven NPC (assuming those even exist)...So happy to be find a man that's not a Reptile, she falls gratefully into his arms...and into his bed. Perhaps at the height of their passion she calls out "Fox" and he calls out "Krystal," which he didn't even realize was her name. Misunderstandings ensue.
Or heck, on the subject of scenery maybe he's just on the receiving end of the torture in some dungeon...but maybe not, since without his clothes I imagine he'd be pretty generic and forgettable.

Speaking of names...honestly she wouldn't even need to be called one at all. It's not like she'd be integral enough to the story for one, I imagine. Like that lizard girl at the beginning who tells Krystal how things work. She'd be incidental scenery or else just a stranger on the road at most. And if it really came about that it was unavoidable to give her a name, just call her K, or Kay.

I actually don't mind it. I take my furries with hair or without as long as there is still fur to put in the word furry. Pigs are exempt from this view and scalies are their own thing.
