Awesome game, Gorepete.

Also, to go along with what Thaedael posted, AF is doing some fanart of Dusty.

I really wish there was sound, it'd make the flash a lot hotter than it already is =D

If anyone's wondering, to unlock the gallery you have to do 3 good and 3 bad and then leave.

As far as I know Newsgrounds is the only other site with permission to post Dusty's Castle.

Also I have to say in most cases I prefer no sound because like as not if the game includes sound it will either be
A: In a foreign language
or
B: Really crappy voice acting (all done by one guy in his bedroom)

Thank god for mute buttons.

Yeah I saw that it was posted up on GoD. It is kind of an inevitable thing with Flash games.

Well as long as they're not making money off it he can't sue 'em yet.

you make money on web pages, by people clicking on adds on those web pages, as long as there are adds on the page with the game and they make 10 or more dollars off those adds he can sue.
(10$ is the minimum amount a person can sue for in the USA)

Unfortunately it is most likely impossible to prove the adds on that specific page were clicked.

Mostly, the efforts to take people spreading copyrighted content are in vain...

Also I think that most of you consume originally copyrighted content without permission (like downloading music etc.) so it seems a bit hypocritical to make such a big thing out of it.

It's clearly not fair, but as Gorepete said, it's one inevitable thing, so either deal with it or stop making flash games ...

Most websites that like to gank flashgames usually have them submitted by people. As a result, the guy posting them almost never has any idea where it came from, and ends up writing very a vague (or entirely false) description about the game. Hence why people put buttons in their games that will open a link to where the rest of their work can be found.

But still, I don't think anyone quite goes to the degree of what Eric Bauman did all those years ago, where he flat-out took other people's work and slapped his own watermark on them and claimed them as his own. Sure, places like funnygames.biz tend to not mention where they got the games from, but again, that's because the guy who posts them usually has no idea who made it or where it came from.

Hah... I don't really think suing over something I freely distribute is a logical reaction. Besides, if actual professionals (is there such a thing in the porn game industry?) like Zone can't stop it from happening, I doubt there would be little effect. Also, you have to remember, I don't really care lol. I do this for fun, not some vanity or popularity contest. As long as the LoK logo is slapped on there, who cares, you know? On a side note, I really want to see how many sites post up the new Sakyu without ever reading the warning message. Now THAT will be comedy.

I agree. You should sue people because you claim the opposite! That is the key to how to be amazing.

Sidenote: Decided to go see how many sites have the new Sakyu. Stupid funny games doesn't have it yet. Kinda wish it did just for the lol's on the Comedy bit. I searched some other sites and still nothing. Maybe it's finally done stealing. Except Dusty is on funny games now BLAH. I wish there was a way to prevent them from taking them. Or to take them back. >_> Person that runs that site should just learn flash and crank out their own games.
