Sakyubasu no Tatakai II (Finished)

Does anyone know how to get Vlad, what she says in the tavern completely stumps me.

Nevermind, have three party members Recommend healer, scout and mage. and attack Waystation.

Now my question is how do you find chef Jurassa, or at least the set up for the fight? I know it's in Royal Gate

Would love to be able to enjoy the game but I still can't get past the first couple of levels. I'll continue to wait for some sort of level select or for anyone to post any sort of save.

Also also: It's starting to feel like the only viable strategy for these last couple of fights is Photovol-based. Without getting lucky and putting enemies to sleep, I'm feeling like there's not much I can do to win. :(

Use a warrior with protect rune, a warcry scout and vlad rom... maybe a few boosts/warcry units and the fights should end in 4 turns easy
warrior first, scout same lane behind her, then vlad rom. if you have like a booster use on the scout. go for the boss not for the units.
easy peasy

In the least passive-aggressive way possible, you should use the handy "search this topic" function to search the thread.

The same probably goes for most GP threads.

There'll probably be some explanations somewhere, because he uses a kind of puzzle-like gameplay even in his non-puzzle games.

I only ask once I've read the entire thread and haven't found the information I needed. Like how to find Chef Jurassa if possible in so far.

I can't figure out any kind of pattern to her attacks. I tried using tank mode, but Last Stand has absolutely no affect on her.

After enough tries though, I managed to get lucky and the animation is totally worth it!

Strangely enough, her event animation is my favorite in the game so far.

Ugh... that was close. So hard battle... Somna is very tough and powerfull enemy  ... ... :D
She had cute animation :)

Oh... by the way. I dont know why, but the last available battle "Black Gate" very laggy. Except this - no bugs or problems.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

And about Somna's words: Is it possible that... the battle against Irania is not the end of game? Or it was a reference to the third part? I'm very intrigued 8-)

To blackcore11:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

When she becomes invisible, use skills that damaged a large area. Best of all - the auto-hit, like "Rain of Fire" for Mage or "Blitz" for Assassin. After receiving damage she will become visible and you can block her "Dagger in the dark".

Remembered reading this and it stuck with me because there was something off-putting to me as well.

I couldn't really explain why before, but I think it's because her coloring is sort of greenish/yellowish? Somehow it gives me an impression like she is sickly or something. To show what I mean, I made a little comparison picture
(sorry it's a bit of a spoiler).
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The top one is as-is in the game. The bottom one has the Hue adjusted about 10 degrees towards red. For me personally this little change made her much more appealing.

This is of course totally just my own opinion and maybe it's just something about my own monitor or settings or whatever. However GoRepeat makes her look is obviously how she is suppose to look by definition. Maybe she is even suppose to look a little ill because of all her drinking. :P

Either way I still love this game! :D

They are pretty bizarrely overpowered compared to what you fight just beforehand. I'm smashing my face against them with full hero units and chanting, and getting nowhere.

It's the fact that there is just no weakness to strategize against without sheer RNG luck. The enemy commander has a huge 30 HP, many of the enemy units are 2 cost so you can't just tie them up and slip around them because they can get tons on the field at once, AND they're all super strong despite only having the 2 mana cost. Combine that with them all having 4-damage Flare on summons, and you can't effectively go for sheer attrition either. So, what, the only actual thing that can reliably work is grinding endlessly to try and get high-rank Thunderstorm runes on every unit?

An unending tide of swole-as-fuck units isn't very fun to fight.

@ Blackcore. You need to be on the offensive when Pecunia get's ready to use dagger in the dark, but if you want specific instructions.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Attack the square in the middle right to get her to reappear (or use an area attack if you're unsure). then block the next turn to avoid all the damage.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The secret to beating them is to have them stalled on tanks when howl happens, then use Madam Photovol to put their four counters to sleep, while you just scout spam behind her, and hope that her sleep ability works, Good tank to use would be Vlad from the three man challenge at the Waystation. Took me a friggin week, but I beat the game. And I would have been upset if it wasn't worth it, or fun.

Black Gate is a Nightmare, I mean if they had a hard limit of 13 or even 15 Cards, I'd be able to counter them no problem, but I have a feeling their card count is Undefined.

Also I don't know if this is an error or not, But I did have the Phasmos, spam Three of the same unit, the 11DAM/2HP Scout.
Wiped my field and cost me the battle because I was on my last two cards and neither of them had Area of effect.in one game actually, I had them spam over seven scouts, 2 4Cost and 5 2cost.

So the request is five things Either continue your plan to nerf the Phasmos as you said you would, Unlock the unique armors that the NPC's use, give the player the ability to increase their in combat health based on their classification choices and the level of the Classification((IE {G}uard, {W}arrior, {S}cout, {H}ealer, {M}age) [G_10+4*lvl][W_10+3*lvl][S_10+2*lvl][H_10+2*lvl][M_5+1*lvl]), Add additional slots to insert units into a players army, or unlock the Runes and unit levels that the player can reach
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Most likely will break the saves  )
.

Awaiting your response GoRepeat,... Apt name considering how frustrating your games get sometimes.

I think the Phasmos are good the way they are. They are challenging. I lost a couple of times against them, but now I'm able to clear all of them all my opponent has no characters left.

Just kinda makes me wonder what the Bovos are like...

This is, my stop.. i Got to, get off. ♪boop-boom-poo boo.♫ Hiya! Gorepete. :3

There seems to be a bug (i think everyone has been reporting) on Vanorel 1st big fight... inSPace!!!
iT's strange.? . ... i Was forced to raise the Max-Chanting level on 'Penetration'. Because 'Shield' kept crashing after Vanorel's big-attacks.
Specially crackingthe screen while you're using 'Last Stand' ... Sometimes? randomly if enemies weren't taken out. But this is only with 'Shield' i Did not 'test' the other other 3 classes, sorry  .

But here's the glitch... (That actually saved me, making me continue on-to the next battle) w/Penetration
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

i Made sure. Vanorel's first two-attack, hit the other 'Eva enemies'. > Parry-ed once..> Attacked the bottom Eva. (Got hurt... because of it) > An after mana was up to eight, i used Whirlwind.
-- Supress field, to recieve one more hit, & finally used strike only once.
And we did it. :?: That was it.

Vanorel did not! Re-cover her health.... c: . (i Know Whirlwind does 200% damage, but i don't think? it crossed over towards her second, health bar.) An remember: 'Penetration's' chanting unit's were up to Max. An yes Eva's Max-health was at 200. Attack 37. Movement 2.

Their were a few times [randomly crashing] using the 'Penetration' class. If i didn't remove all the enemies, & left only one. During her twirly, black screen attack.. Off'N on.
So that's my report, for that one, fight. You're game mechanics are hardcore. ;)

Yeah, there's *something* a little broken about the Phasmos. Every time I win, it feels more like good strategy plus luck; without some kind of lucky draw and Photovol putting baddies to sleep, I haven't been able to figure out a reliable strategy. They can't be run out of soldiers, as far as I know. All I can say for sure is that you better be able to put them to sleep when they spawn two guys in the same row, since they usually only summon three guys. I don't feel like the individual units are overpowered, and I usually survive Day Dream--sometimes without even losing any units--but in the end, they wear me down, because I simply can't get troops back to hit the leader unless Photovol puts most of their guys to sleep.
