so, for everyone who was keen for my "make a squad-based rpg-ish game" pitch a while ago..

I've found out that it's name was darkest dungeon.
and since then.. I've made a mod that's pretty much what I would have done.

no animation, sadly, but on the plus side.. I don't have to animate anything! :D


anyways, I've just upped "darkest desires" to the nexus.

check eet out!

Didn't realize there was this thread all on its own. I better keep an eye on it >:3. On a different note, are there plans to improve the basic animations?

I couldn't install it. I replaced the files with yours but the game crashes every time I load even a new game.

that's fixed now.

it used to happen when you didn't have the same mods installed as I did.

but, no more problems in 1.1 ..hopefully.

Really loving how smooth the animations and the jiggle on the girl is. Her body is quite nicely done as well, i love it all. Can't wait to see some sexy scenes though. Keep it up!

Just a formal notice: I'll be putting this one a brief hold in favor of a faster small project. The game is definitely not over yet. The dev crew is welcome to join me for the other project during this project's down-time. Sorry to inform you guys, no worries, though. Once it's done, I'll come straight back to this one. :D

I just discovered that thread... Maybe you guys should think about making it more visible?
So, looks pretty nice, for what it is so far. One thing I kinda dislike : the girl is walking like she has heels but she does not; and the running animation is sort of weird but I couldn't quite say why...

Yea I agree with this, this could definatley use some more visibility, even just the small test feature animations looks great, just might not be the most practical for a galactic space heroine to do everything on her tip toes :P. But even at that if the rest of the animations are going to be as smooth as the ones already implemented this games going be unreal!

Yeah, the reason her stance is like that is because we do indeed intend to put heels on her. I wish I could get back to this one. :(

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the work, though I won't hide my dissapointment that I thought it would be pixel-based because of your avatar :D

There is something glorious about every one of the crouch animations. Bouncing without moving while in the pose you propose marriage in, sliding while crouched, bouncing on all fours, I love it.
