Subverse is a tactical RPG/SHMUP hybrid that takes place in a fully explorable galaxy where you get to be the Captain of your very own ship which is crewed by the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Assemble an elite team of deadly alien waifus that will fight for you. Learn their backstories, earn their loyalty and they'll do other stuff for you too.

Enjoy a surreal meta-plot of comedic science fiction filled with memorable perverts and deviant villains. Discover sidequests and complete them for loot and purchase upgrades and awesome stuff for your ship.
Engage in plot-driven SHMUP missions if you’ve got a twitchy thumb, or tactical grid RPG turn-based combat for a more nuanced approach involving less maneuvering.

Your enemies range from space pirates, bounty hunters, rogue warrior pleasure droids and other assorted scumbags. Collect rare DNA samples across your adventures to create vicious bio-weapon monsters called MANTICORES (Mantics) to fight alongside your crew. Outside of combat, your troops can serve another purpose by keeping your waifus satisfied.

And naturally as one can expect from an animation studio, there will be animated 3D sex scenes :D

As of now they have already blown past their initial goal and unlocked a couple of stretch goals as well.

The project has now reached 250k and still rising. We've now also unlocked loyalty quests for each of the girls who you'll now get to know more intimately. This will increase the end game content a lot!
It's a stretch goal I've really hoped would be reached :D
Next up short cinematic vignettes you get as a reward for finishing the loyalty quests. 1-2 minutes of good Fow 3D smut ;)

Yes, the name caught my interest first. Then I checked out the game and it looks like it will kick ass.

Turns out there was some 'convergent evolution' here. I came up with the same title for a song on my new album: Haiduk - Subverse
(my intended meaning: "an underground universe", or "a universe below.")

Glad to see the game making progress. I'll check it out when it's done.

And with this Subverse has reached all of their initial goals. Quadrupling their initial funding goal :D
This unlocks a lot more cinematic plot scenes! Fulfilling the game devs wishes for the game.
In addition they've unveiled a new goal at 550k:
Fowchan, the studios succubus secretary will join the game with both a normal and demonic form. For long time fans of Studio Fow like myself, this is very exciting :D

Been a while since I last updated this. But lots of new things to share!
Subverse has now passed 1 Million pounds, reaching all the projects stretch goals.
Since last time the kickstarter has unlocked Fowchan, the Studios secretary Succubus. With this goal reached they've unveiled some new concept art for the character: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/990500595/subverse/posts/2474892
After this the campaign unlocked another unveiled goal: NSFW doujins that tells original stories about the characters in the game.

The final stretch goal the "War chest" at 1 Million pounds is making the game more polished. Adding extra help where it's necessary and the like. More money spent on the promised game. Which I for one am all for. It wouldn't be too good to make things too ambitious.

No demo yet no. The estimated release of the first chapter is late summer, so just hang on till then!
