Just to confirm, in the General forum there isn't a problem with posting frequently in threads where it's appropriate (Blame the person above you, Tiana's evil thread, intro threads, etc). That said, double posts and bumps should be avoided where possible.

Elsewhere, like the RP forum and Creative Corner, there are rules against frequent posting. Basically, if you want to make a fast, casual thread, it belongs here. Elsewhere, fast threads monopolize the top spots on the forum, which isn't appropriate for threads without good content.
